Lavenders Day Nursery (Bedford)

We are very fortunate to have our daughter here whilst we have to work and we are very grateful for the Ladybirds team leader and her team. Her key worker is wonderful, my daughter really cares for her. They do so much to care for her, comfort her, it truly means the world to us.

My baby twins have been at Lavenders since they were 9 months old (now 1 years old). I was very pleased with the several settling-in sessions beforehand at no extra cost too! The varied menu is very impressive so their dietary needs are always catered for and has inspired me to try new foods at home. It’s helping them so much with their social skills and they are very happy there. The staff are excellent and very engaging with us as parents. What has been invaluable is ad-hoc additional sessions (if the nursery has availability), which has been a lifesaver with a change in work commitments. Even though they have their own keyworker, it’s evident that all the staff know all of the babies in the room which is comforting as a parent and that in addition to the app means I always feel fully informed. I cannot rate this nursery enough as we know our babies are going to thrive at Lavenders!

My daughter has settled in really well at Lavenders thanks to her key worker. They have an amazing bond and it's clear to see that her key worker has a real passion for what she does. The facilities are great and all the other staff are great too. I have always been informed when applicable and it's great that Lavenders hold events to enjoy as a family too. I can't wait to see how my daughter learns/plays in the next class.

Overall the staff are lovely and you can always rely on them to give the perfect handover.

My daughter is very ready to start school, but I know she is going to miss nursery immensely! (So will I!) Thank you for everything you all do!

Our daughter has been at Lavenders since her first birthday and is now in pre-school. She has loved it throughout and has learnt so much. The staff are all outstanding and so caring and have become very important to her. We love how much time the kids spend outdoors, and the focus on building their confidence and independence. We look forward to our younger daughter starting soon.

My first son started attending Lavenders four years ago, my younger son started nearly two years ago. Both really enjoy it there and the staff know them well. The food is great, my kids eat better there than at home! The outdoor space is lovely, they go out everyday and they take part in such lovely activities. My eldest has learnt lots this year ready to start school in September.

We have recently registered our baby girl with the Lavenders team and they were amazingly accommodating and ensured they did their best to meet our needs. As soon as we registered we were given information about the baby room and offered an extra tour of the nursery which goes above and beyond any of the other settings we looked around. Our first tour was exceptional; the nursery looked well resourced and the staff team were happy and welcoming, We are so excited for our daughter to start as they have given us the best first impressions!

We relocated to Bedford last summer and moved our 3 year old and 1 year old to Lavenders. This nursery is exceptional and has been better than we could have hoped for. The support that staff have given to both girls, but our 3 year old in particular, to handle the transition of moving to a new town, a new house and a new nursery and having to make new friends has been phenomenal.

10/10 - no complaints whatsoever! Thank you to all the staff.

Fantastic nursery. All the staff take such good care of the children and genuinely care. The children are supported to learn and be independent with the help of the staff and have fun doing it. Excellent care setting.

Her learning has come on so much and with her confidence, I have no concerns with her starting school.

Our children always tell us what fun they've had at nursery, and the staff are all great and attentive. So happy that our children go to the best nursery around. They've always got smiles on there face.

Good communications

My daughter has been with the nursery for two years and I couldn't be happier with the care they have provided her in that time. She loves her time at nursery and has learned so much. The staff are so caring and my daughter has loved everyone that she comes into contact with, everyone knows their name and we are always welcomed warmly at the door each day. The staff always take the time to tell me about how her day has been.. I couldn't be happier

I cannot fault Lavenders Day Nursery. They have a sense of warmth between all the staff. My three year old cannot wait to attend each and everyday.

The team are friendly, upbeat and caring to all parents and children.

Feel very lucky that Lavenders have been part of mychildrens life.

Children build lovely relationships and bonds.

My son is always happy to come into the nursery, and will specifically call out wanting to show his Key Worker things that he likes at home. He loves the garden and all the things to do out there and loves his groups of friends that he calls out for at home.

My son just absolutely loves to come to nursery. The staff is super thoughtful and kind to him. They also always make me feel welcomed and assured that my child is safe when I leave him. He also has recently changed class and the transition was very smooth. This is a great nursery and I would recommend it everyday.

I have been very pleased with the service Lavenders Day Nursery provides for my two sons. They have lots of fun with their friends, a good range of activities are provided, and they have good nutritious food.

Also the food! A cooked meal for lunch and dinner/tea, always nutritious and varied - pies, fancy pastas, curry, rice, roast dinner, spag bowl, lamb etc.
