We have recently registered our baby girl with the Lavenders team and they were amazingly accommodating and ensured they did their best to meet our needs. As soon as we registered we were given information about the baby room and offered an extra tour of the nursery which goes above and beyond any of
the other settings we looked around. Our first tour was exceptional; the nursery looked well resourced and the staff team were happy and welcoming, We are so excited for our daughter to start as they have given us the best first impressions!

We relocated to Bedford last summer and moved our 3 year old and 1 year old to Lavenders. This nursery is exceptional and has been better than we could have hoped for. The support that staff have given to both girls, but our 3 year old in particular, to handle the transition of moving to a new town,
a new house and a new nursery and having to make new friends has been phenomenal.


Both children absolutely love going to nursery every day and the staff are kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable about all procedures. The activities they undertake each day are interesting and varied and go above and beyond what we experienced in our previous nursery. The garden alone is such a wonderful experience day to day for children to explore. The nursery celebrates all cultures and celebrations which is really important to us, and our children feel very welcome and happy.
10/10 - no complaints whatsoever! Thank you to all the staff.

Fantastic nursery. All the staff take such good care of the children and genuinely care. The children are supported to learn and be independent with the help of the staff and have fun doing it. Excellent care setting.

The love and care for my child over the last two years have been exceptional. It makes me so happy to drop her off each day knowing she will be in the best care.

My daughter has been with the nursery for two years and I couldn't be happier with the care they have provided her in that time. She loves her time at nursery and has learned so much. The staff are so caring and my daughter has loved everyone that she comes into contact with, everyone knows their name
and we are always welcomed warmly at the door each day. The staff always take the time to tell me about how her day has been.. I couldn't be happier

I cannot fault Lavenders Day Nursery. They have a sense of warmth between all the staff. My three year old cannot wait to attend each and everyday.


The team are friendly, upbeat and caring to all parents and children.

My son is always happy to come into the nursery, and will specifically call out wanting to show his Key Worker things that he likes at home. He loves the garden and all the things to do out there and loves his groups of friends that he calls out for at home.

My son just absolutely loves to come to nursery. The staff is super thoughtful and kind to him. They also always make me feel welcomed and assured that my child is safe when I leave him. He also has recently changed class and the transition was very smooth. This is a great nursery and I would recommend

My review is based on children ages 2.5 and up.
The nursery overall is phenomenal.
The staff are so utterly amazing - very calm, friendly, validating to the children, loving, caring, happy, reassuring, and welcoming.
All of the children I've seen are always calm, happy and exploring the surroundings.
The
garden is amazing, with lots of opportunities for cycling, climbing, exercising, and running. It's very spacious with astroturf so the children don't get muddy. Lots of plants and trees outside too so the children find bugs and all sorts!
The inside is very clean, well organised, and spacious. Each room looks very homely but also very fun and inviting.
I don't think this nursery really compares to any other. It really is outstanding.
Also the food! A cooked meal for lunch and dinner/tea, always nutritious and varied - pies, fancy pastas, curry, rice, roast dinner, spag bowl, lamb etc.

Lavenders is an amazing nursery and my daughter has thrived over the years she's been here. The staff are dedicated and truly care about the children. They plan activities around the children's interests and cook fresh food everyday.i couldn't recommend lavenders more!

We’ve just transferred from another Childbase nursery and we couldn’t be happier with the transition. My son settled instantly and he happily spoke to us about his first day when we collected him. The staff team are friendly and approachable and his key person updates us with pictures and observations
weekly on the Parentzone app. We couldn’t ask for anything more from the nursery. They are truly amazing!

My boy started at Lavenders in August 2021 he was just over a year old. From day one we have both been made to feel so welcome. The staff have been so helpful and caring to my son's needs. He absolutely loves going to nursery he goes in and comes out with a big smile every day. This is because of
the caring staff that provides a safe space. He has developed in all areas since going to nursery and continues to every day. The admin team are always easy to get hold of and answer any questions which make life easier. Thank you to all at Lavenders, I would 100% recommend it.

My son started Lavenders when he was just seven months old and he is now three. When I went to look around (at this point I was expecting my son) I just knew that this nursery was the best place for him. The staff were just so amazing and so dedicated to the children and the various rooms for the different
age groups were wonderful. One thing I noticed which also really set my mind at ease was how happy all of the children were. Honestly without question Lavenders is the best nursery and the most amazing experience for your little ones. I will be so sad once my son leaves for school in a few months time! The staff and manager are all so understanding and caring and are highly professional. Everything is provided from baby formula to nappies and highly nutritious meals, and the children get simply the best care. Couldn't recommend this wonderful place enough to anyone.

I cannot recommend Lavenders enough. Both my son (who is now at school) and my daughter (who is currently at Lavenders) have attended on a full time basis and while it is costly (as is all childcare) it is worth every single penny. The staff have and do love my children and look after them as if they
are their own. My children have learnt so much and friends and family always comment on how well they speak, which I put down to everything they learn at Lavenders. The garden is amazing! When we drop my daughter, my son still says he wishes he still went to Lavenders and the staff will always greet him warmly.
The management has always been supportive and approachable and will do what they can to be flexible. I have no doubt that this is the best childcare in Bedford. It is clean, warm and the food is good. Plus the communication of my daughter through the day is excellent.

Lavenders have provided a safe and happy place for my son. I was worried how he would settle after lockdown having limited opportunities to socialise with other children. The staff really supported him with developing social skills and confidence which is lovely to see. He has a close bond with his
key worker who completely understands him and is able to support him fully. He has learnt so much holistically and has made great progress in his development. Thank you to all the staff for all you do every day for the children.
