Bright Horizons Highams Park Day Nursery and Preschool

The care and facilities are great. It really does feel like a small family set up for the kids with staff etc. I cannot find a fault there. The only complaint is the communication/admin, it needs to be drastically improved.

I have had my older child in the nursery previously and my youngest is there now and I can honestly say I cannot fault the care that the team at Highams Park give the children. Having had both children there throughout the pandemic, as well as before and after it, the care that they have provided is exceptional. The team are passionate, invested in the children's learning and welfare and just so caring towards them and the children just love all of the staff regardless of the room they are in! I am so glad we moved to this nursery. Would highly recommend it.

We hear the names of the staff on a daily basis and referenced most evenings, whilst our daughter is settling in her cot and running through all of her key people in her life. Too cute! She adores you all and is always so excited to spend a day with you. Thank you so much for making our baby girl so happy and comfortable with you all, we always know she is in great hands and we’ve seen her come on leaps and bounds since she started nursery. You are all a huge part of her life and a contributor to the wonderful little personality, she is becoming.

Our little boy has now been with Bright Horizons for approaching two years, from toddler just turning 2 years old to current preschool, just turned 4 years old, going to school in September. During this whole time, the service and quality of care he has received has been exceptional. Firstly, the attention to detail and care for all the children at the nursery is of the very highest standard, especially during the pandemic. The levels of care and professionalism shown in such difficult circumstances, was incredible. But also, the learning and development of our boy, getting him ready for school, has been so amazing to see. Also, a great effort has been made for the mental well-being of all the children in the nursery, which again is great to see. Cannot recommend it enough and thank you to all the team at Bright Horizons, Highams Park.

We have been really impressed with Bright Horizons, Highams Park Day Nursery. Our daughter joined when she was 11 months old and our impression is that she really enjoys being there. She smiles and shows excitement when seeing the staff each morning and the photos that we see on the app show her having lots of fun. We have also noticed huge developments in our daughter's language skills and gross motor skills in the three and a half months that she has been attending the nursery. We know how hard the staff in the baby room have been working on developing her crawling and walking skills. All the staff and management at Highams Park Day Nursery are very friendly, personable and we have been really grateful for all the quick and reassuring communication that we receive. We especially love all the artwork that our daughter brings home! We genuinely could not be happier with the nursery placement for our daughter. Thank you to everyone at Highams Park Day Nursery!

My son has been attending the nursery for over a year and joined the baby room. He started in August 2020 and due to Covid-19 there wasn't a settling period where parents could stay with their child. I was a little apprehensive at first, however he settled in pretty quickly. The staff were amazing and they provided regular updates during the settling period, which put my nerves at ease. We receive a daily update at pickup, how my son has been throughout the day, what he has had to eat and what activities he participated in, along with a daily sheet. Every couple of months we have a virtual catch up due to Covid-19, with his key worker to discuss his development and areas which we would like them to focus on. We get a chance to look through his book which contains pics of him and an update on his progress. What more can you ask for. I would recommend Bright Horizons Highams Park Day Nursery and Preschool to parents thinking about sending their children to this nursery.

My daughter attended Bright Horizon’s Highams Park nursery for 4-years, and in that time, I’ve been impressed and extremely grateful for the care, support and encouragement they gave her. This happy and safe environment enabled her to make good progress, and I would definitely recommend the nursery to other parents.

This nursery is truly excellent. My son attended the preschool room and I couldn’t be happier with the level of care and attention he received. The staff are fantastic and they have a fantastic learning structure in place too. A truly nurturing environment where all voices - parents and children’s are heard.

Our daughter has attended from18 months to 4 years old and she loves every day there. All her advancements have been captured and she's grown into a wonderful person. SHe's had great staff around her and made friends. We couldn't be happier with her time at Bright Horizons and neither could she.

I love this nursery. The team who work here are genuinely lovely and they really care for your child. My son attended here before my daughter (who has just left for school) and they both adored the staff and I cannot recommend them enough. The facilities are great and are well maintained. The children always had a varied day and were never bored. They handled the COVID situation incredibly well and did everything within their control to ensure as little disruption to families as possible. The food is also fantastic, I loved hearing about how well my little girl ate! The train station is also in close proximity which is very handy for a parent who has to commute. My daughter has additional medical and speech and language needs and I couldn't fault how the team approached her care. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough!

In terms of learning, the preparation for starting school has been so helpful. My daughter can write and has been learning phonics at nursery.

My child has loved Bright Horizons from age 1 to age 4. The staff have been so caring and professional and always treated her as an individual. Every day I've felt happy knowing she was so well cared for. The admin side of things has always been very efficient and the food excellent. Staff give regular feedback and are great at involving parents. Moves from one room to another have been well supported and staff turnover pretty low. I would fully recommend them to any parent.

My daughter has absolutely loved her time at Highams Park Nursery and we will be very sorry to say goodbye when she leaves to start school. Since day one all the staff have been kind, caring and full of affection for the children who attend the nursery. They have taught my daughter beyond the curriculum in terms of how to be kind, how to respect others and the importance of listening and learning. We've seen her develop a strong friendship group there and a lot of love for her carers in the preschool room and beyond. It's a very special place and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nursery.

My child started at pre-school room last November. The educators in his room are fantastic, really specialised, they made him feel very welcome and he settled in really quickly. There are so many child-friendly systems in this nursery, communication with parents is really good (management and room leaders are swift to help) and staff, in general, are friendly, upbeat and professional. My child is absolutely thriving here and looks forward to attending nursery.

This place is brilliant. My daughter is a notoriously fussy eater but she eats everything that's put in front of her here...not sure what that says about my cooking! The staff are kind and creative and I really feel like she is learning a lot by attending here. I know my daughter will be very sad to leave here when she starts school because she loves it.

My son attended Bright Horizons nursery in Highams Park from when he was one year old to four years old. I couldn't have hoped for a better environment for him. The staff were fantastic and he learnt so much while he was there. I would highly recommend this nursery to others.

We consider ourselves very lucky to have got a place at Bright Horizons Highams Park. Our son has been here since he was 1 and has been very happy. He has been in all of the 3 rooms and the care and development/support had been fantastic in all of them. He will be very sorry to leave the brilliant staff and all the friends he has made when he goes to school.

As a father, I do say that my daughter could not have had a better place than this nursery. We are extremely happy with everything. She is ready for school now. A very big thank you.

Highams Park Day Nursery is a brilliant nursery. The food is amazing, the activities and curriculum are great, but most of all the staff are kind, creative, warm and treat the kids like they are their own. My children love coming here and have grown in confidence and learned so much. A lot of nurseries are "just" childcare, but here I feel like we are raising the children together.

Our daughter has attended the nursery for four years and has absolutely loved every minute of her time there. The staff are fantastic. Friendly, caring and great fun. I would definitely recommend the nursery.
