Overall Experience

Fantastic nursery with great family feel, have mentioned it to other parents who now also attend and have similar experiences. Both my children have gone all the way through each room, and genuine love and care is given by every member of staff

Overall Experience

The manager and her team at Woodland run a tight ship.

They have offered us brilliant support over the past 2 years and go out of their way to accommodate us.

Our daughter has special needs especially requiring additional support with her feeding. The nursery have been fantastic and we feel very comfortable knowing she is very well looked after.

We highly recommend woodlands and thank everyone for taking such wonderful care of our daughter.

Overall Experience

I am very impressed with Woodlands Nursery. I always feel comfortable knowing that my daughter is pretty safe there and the staffs are doing very good jobs looking after my daughter. I never had any concerns over my daughter being there. Lovely atmosphere, good food, brilliant staff, lovely garden and beautiful building.

Overall Experience
Our daughter has been attending Woodlands full time since she was 4 months old. Having just turned 4 years old, and now look forward to her starting school in September, we have nothing but praise and admiration for how all the staff have cared for our daughter over the years. Care standards have always been high, and any concerns - no matter how minor - have been addressed to our satisfaction. For example, Woodlands made improvements to the menu to include more fruit as 'pudding', and provide a more 'healthy' menu. Our daughter is known by all the staff, and which she always rates 'everybody' as her favourite!

Our daughter's interests have been nurtured over the years, as well as preparing her for school. They have done an outstanding job in reinforcing the manners and 'social niceties' which we have sought to place in our daughter. I know our daughter sees Woodlands as her 'other home', which she always looks forward to going every day. Thank you, Woodlands.

Overall Experience
My son has attended Woodlands Day Nursery for 2 days a week for the last 6 Months since he was a year old, and I can't fault the nursery or staff at all.
It is an incredibly caring environment and my son has come along in leaps and bounds since he has been at Woodlands.

I am so happy with the care and teaching provided and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Claire Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2001
Claire

Claire has been a Nursery Practitioner for 18 years and qualified with an NNEB with Distinction qualification in 1993.

She has continued to refresh and update her training over the years in order to keep up with the ever-evolving world of childcare.

Claire has always worked in the private sector and has vast experience with all age groups between 0 and 5 years, having room-managed all base rooms from babies to preschool in Senior Management positions before taking over Woodlands as Manager in 2001.

She splits her working day between dealing with the everyday running of the nursery based in the nursery office and working on the nursery floor supporting her staff and spending much valued time with the children.

Claire is proud of her strong and dedicated staff team and the excellent reputation that Woodlands Day Nursery and Preschool has built up in the local community over the years.
Carly Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2001
Carly

I have been Deputy Manager at Woodlands since 2001. I have a BTEC National Diploma in Childcare and have vast experience working with under 5's.

I had always wanted to work with children so choosing childcare as a career came naturally and I still very much enjoy spending time in our base rooms supporting our staff teams and spending time with the children.
