I was really worried moving my son’s nursery but I had absolutely no need to be. He’s much happier here and I feel completely relaxed leaving him. He has made lots of friends and is always excited to tell me about his day when I pick him up. They seem to be well organised and make a real effort to engage the children in many different activities and lots of outdoor play in their amazingly big garden! The staff are also very approachable and I have found communicating with management really easy too.
I’d really recommend Little Bears. My daughter started just before she turned 1 and we have had such a positive experience. She settled really quickly and bonded very well with the staff which is a testament to the amazing staff. It is clear to me that the staff really care about my daughter and they offer her excellent care. The nursery has a small baby/young toddler room, maximum of six babies, which is great for the very small ones. The nursery has an amazing garden, and my daughter goes outside regularly, nearly every day, even in winter, which is great. I was personally apprehensive about sending my daughter to nursery in general, but this nursery has proved me wrong, and I no longer worry about my daughter being at nursery, which is a real testament to the Little Bear's team. Also, management is really responsive by email and very welcoming in person. Thank you. All the staff seem relaxed and happy.
We're super happy with Little Bears! My son is absolutely loving it there. They do all sorts of fun activities in the classroom and take the kids on trips to the park. But what really stands out to me is the staff. From the managers to the classroom staff, they're all so friendly and easy to talk to. I wanted my son to be somewhere he feels loved, and I can tell that the staff really care about him. Well done Little Bears.
Little Bears is a fantastic nursery with great facilities and you can tell how all staff working there really care about the children. Regardless of room, everyone working there seems to know all the children which is lovely and makes it seem like one big family. Would highly recommend it!
My children started here a couple of months ago after we visited many nurseries, and we are extremely happy with our choice. The team at Little Bears have given us great confidence in knowing they are being looked after by people who genuinely care. They have a massive outdoor area for the kids to explore and every time I go into the classroom, there is something different going on. I pick my kids up with smiles on their faces, which says it all. The feedback and communication so far has been brilliant. I honestly have nothing bad to say and would recommend this nursery to anyone looking.
My son joined three months ago, at 9 months old, and absolutely loves going to nursery. The communication is brilliant and gives us a full overview of his day. Joining at a young age, I was apprehensive about him starting nursery however, thanks to the genuine love and compassion shown by staff, he settled in very quickly. I cannot thank them enough for everything they do.
The communication is also great, regular email updates and we can follow what our son does throughout the day via an app where they detail food, nappies and publish pictures/videos of moments of his day.
The premises are clean, modern and a huge garden for the kids to play. Overall we are very happy to have chosen this nursery.
Our daughter has very happy since joining Little Bears in January. The staff are wonderful and you can tell they really care about all of the children. They have a wonderful outside space and the kids get plenty of fresh air. The food always makes me jealous! Highly nutritious and our little girl seems to love it all (which isn't the case at home!). I'm very happy we chose Little Bears, I can't fault them - they're wonderful.
Our son (now 2.5 years) has been at Little Bears on Wanstead Green Day Nursery since he was 1 and we can't fault the care, support and kindness we have experienced and the development we have seen in him during that time. The key workers are simply wonderful which makes all the difference each and every day. I only have one child but when speaking to others with children at other nursery settings I can see and feel Little Bear's offers a service which goes above and beyond. Our little one recently broke his leg (at home, not at nursery!) and the extent they went to accommodate him with his injury was truly fantastic. And most recently, stay-and-play sessions for parents have rounded off the whole experience, it's been great seeing activities and routines in action each month.
When my daughter has a grumpy day, they know how to reassure her.
I am extremely satisfied and grateful for the setting.
Little Bear's on Wanstead Green nursery is lovely and we are very pleased to be taking our little girl there. The staff are all friendly and we feel they genuinely care about our child. We couldn’t be happier with our choice.
Little Bears are simply brilliant. We are so thankful for the care and skilled support they have given to our son. They helped him transition into nursery beautifully and he is always so excited to arrive on Monday and Tuesdays! He has developed hugely in his independent eating and loves all the art and craft activities.
Little Bear's on Wanstead Green has been a great nursery for our daughter! In the 6 months that she had been attending, she has learnt so much and has developed into a confident little girl. Her day is always filled with lots of fun activities, arts and crafts! The staff in yogi room are super helpful, friendly and caring, and she cannot wait to get there every morning, which is really reassuring for us. As well as building a relationship with the children, the staff have a lovely relationship with parents too - they are so approachable and warm every time we go for drop off/pickups. Management at this nursery are great too, they are great at keeping parents well informed and are constantly arranging various activities and events for parents to attend. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough!
Little Bear’s is outstanding. Our son loves it, he is so well cared for and comes home so happy and excited. He can’t wait to get there in the morning and his keyworkers are so excellent with him. Can’t rate it high enough.
We moved our child here from a national chain. We felt that this nursery was 10 times better. Smaller class sizes, better staff, better curriculum. We’ve been hugely impressed by the team and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
Great nursery, with excellent facilities. Management and staff are very friendly and professional. I am impressed with the educational activities offered to the children. I would highly recommend Little Bears at Wanstead Green.
The big plus is the outdoor space and the range of developmental activities for the children.
When I was due to start back at work in September, I visited many nurseries, and none made me comfortable to even contemplate leaving my two under two's until I came across Little Bears in Wanstead. Everything from the facilities, the staff and just the warm feeling I got from visiting instantly made me feel at ease and actually excited for my kids to experience being in an environment like theirs - the location being right next to the station was just an absolute bonus.
We feel safe knowing the environment they are in.
Ohh, safe to say they love the food too.
To all those involved, thank you.
Little Bear's on Wanstead Green has been a wonderful home-from-home for our daughter for the last year and a half, and she can't wait to go every morning. Bright, spacious, modern facilities with a brilliant garden. The level of care and support that our daughter has received in each of the rooms she has been in has surpassed our expectations. They have been absolute magicians with getting our daughter to eat and nap. It's also so lovely to see regular updates charting her development and recording the special moments in her day. We have really appreciated the well-organised and responsive management team too. Very happy that we chose Little Bears for our daughter.

Meet the Team (3)
I have been working in the Childcare sector for 16 years from babysitting, nannying and then working my way up from being an Early Years Practitioner all the way to a Nursery Manager.
I love watching children learn and grow and it is always exciting to know that not one day will be the same with them. It's wonderful to see how much children change over the years and to see them take that big step into Reception.
Now having my own child, I can see first-hand how important these first years are and how much can do to help shape and mould the children for their future.
I am a qualified NNEB Nursery Nurse and have been working in childcare for over 25 years.
I have always wanted to work with children from a very young age. I have always been interested in how children learn, and develop and in providing the best possible learning opportunities for all children.
