Little Bear's on Wanstead Green is a friendly and welcoming nursery that prides itself on strong parent relationships and on creating a stimulating environment for the children in its care.

All childcarers are highly qualified, support age-specific learning goals, and focus on creating an atmosphere of respect and positive behaviour.

The nursery has recently undergone a comprehensive refurbishment programme to expand facilities to include an independent sensory room and age-specific garden areas within the large garden. As part of their commitment to children's wellbeing, the setting has an air filtration system designed to extract all airborne pollutants from the incoming air supply.

My son loves going to Little Bear's on The Green. The staff are friendly and caring. He enjoys the activities and loves the food. I would highly recommend the nursery to any parent.

Our son and daughter both attend this nursery, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are brilliant - very caring and nurturing. They think carefully about what all of the children will enjoy and plan activities brilliantly. The children play outside all the time and regularly go on trips
(e.g. to the theatre, the park and to a country park to see the Gruffalo). Both of our children settled in really quickly and are very happy at Little Bear's. The manager is also great and welcoming, and she knows all of the children well. Highly recommend!

Friendly, helpful, caring and knowledgeable staff, exactly the type of people we were hoping to find to help look after my young daughter.


After a bad experience with a childminder my daughter was very upset about being away from me and this in turn was very upsetting for me. However, the staff

at Little Bear's were fantastic in helping her to settle in.
They were infinitely patient with both of us and treated my daughter as an individual rather than a number. I know now from first-hand experience that this is how they treat all of their children.


My daughter has so much fun and comes home with many new skills and friends.

My little girl loves going and not once in three years has she said she didn't want to go! That's a pretty good recommendation.


I've been so happy with the nursery, they've helped my shy little baby turn into a confident happy little girl. The staff are lovely and genuinely care about all the children.

What a fantastic nursery. My daughter attends Little Bears 4 times a week. I really could not ask for a better nursery for my daughter to go to she has settled in so well. I love to see her playing confidently with the other children. I put this down to the amazingly attentive staff who all obviously
love their jobs. The staff are friendly and helpful and really cannot do enough to make sure that both children and parents have a really positive experience.


The food is fantastic, varied, healthy and exciting and the children are encouraged to try lots of different tastes and textures.


We viewed a number of other nurseries before making the decision on Little Bears and we definitely made the right decision. This was the only nursery our daughter absolutely loved. She loves playing outside in the garden looking for snails and playing in the sandpit and mud kitchen.


I would happily recommend Little Bears to any other parent.

Little Bears On The Green is the most gorgeous, caring, loving environment I could wish for for my child's early years.
My daughter has been attending since 9 months old, and the nursery has helped shape her to become a kind, considerate, confident toddler.
The nursery itself is clean, bright and
inviting to parents and children. The garden is just delightful! I can't praise all the staff who work there enough, they genuinely care for every child that comes through the door and my daughter is excited to go there every week.

Amazing nursery and amazing staff. I could not be happier. I had to move my son from another nursery which I found to be poor in everything. My son is happy, I am happy. I would recommend this nursery anytime. My son can't get enough of the nursery.

I am so happy sending my children to Little Bears On The Green. They are always raring to go in the morning, and I'm sure that's because of the warm and friendly atmosphere at the nursery – they are genuinely cared for and loved there. The staff are also really helpful and accommodating, which is so
important as a working mum. Of course, my children's educational needs are met too, but it's their happiness that matters most to me at this time in their little lives.

Both my wife and I cannot be happier with Little Bears Nursery and the staff who work there throughout. Our daughter has been going since she was 1 and has moved to a number of the rooms on offer and the level of service has remained the same.

I love watching children learn and grow and it is always exciting to know that not one day will be the same with them. It's wonderful to see how much children change over the years and to see them take that big step into Reception.


Now having my own child, I can see first-hand how important these first years are and how much can do to help shape and mould the children for their future.
