Devonshire Day Nursery (Chiswick)

The only complaint is that food quality hasn’t been great lately, offering sandwiches for tea. The outside space is great, kids are spending a lot of time outside.

Such a fantastic experience in the caterpillar room. Always nerve-wracking leaving a baby for the first time and the wonderful team did everything to help settle us in. My child now loves coming to nursery and is developing so well. Thank you!

Lovely place to send my child. Friendly staff who really care for your child's wellbeing. Any problems there are swift resolutions with appropriate communication. Honestly, was not my first choice due to it being a bit further from home but do not regret it at all! Thank you to all the staff at the nursery!

Wonderful room. Kids are so loved and nurtured and they learn so much, my son is always happy. All the teachers take the time to know each child individually, their likes and dislikes. The best!

Our second child is finishing his last term. He is prepared socially and academically for reception. Both of our children flourished at Devonshire Day Nursery and we will always be grateful to the wonderful carers who looked after our children.

This is the first nursery I've sent my boys to, I have been pleasantly surprised at how they settled in, with a lot of comfort and cuddles from the staff when they are upset. During the first few weeks, I would call throughout the day and staff would update me on their progress which was reassuring for me.

The staff at Devonshire Day Nursery are absolutely amazing! My child loves coming to the nursery and loves her carers and playmates. We are lucky to have them and grateful for all their work! Thank you!

My daughter found a really warm and motherly environment. She loves her time at the nursery and she progressed really well thanks to the help of the staff. Couldn't be happier with it.

Where do I start; my older child went through this nursery and I must say they gave her the best foundation she needed for a school environment, when she left in 2020. So it was a no brainer to send my younger child here when it was time for him to join the 'formal education world'. The key workers are all amazing and rare talents, of excellent quality and calibre. They always keep us informed, and the care they show the children is so evident that it’s not just a job to them, they actually care. The reception and admin staff including the kitchen staff are all just wonderful people. You always feel welcomed, plus from interaction etc, you see how seriously they take their jobs. The Devonshire crew are just wonderful. I wish you had a school setting, my kids would be there! Thank you again for being wonderful. I won’t stop recommending you to others.

Kids are very happy! They have been happy to attend the nursery since the very beginning. They come back home tired but full of enthusiasm and a big smile. Never had complaints and they learn so much every day! Highly recommended.

Devonshire is a fantastic daycare. The staff are both friendly and professional and I feel fully assured that my child is very well looked after. She loves being at the daycare and that’s a huge credit to all the staff and the overall management of the daycare. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Since my son started at Devonshire Day Nursery in September 2021, he has come along in leaps and bounds! The staff there are amazing, friendly and caring individuals, who make a fantastic team and ensure that the children have the best possible experience. This is a fantastic nursery and our son has been very happy there - he always asks excitedly if it is a “nursery day”. He has been in two of the rooms and they managed the transition between them perfectly.

The staff at Devonshire Day Nursery are truly wonderful. We have been very happy with our experience so far initially in the baby room, Caterpillars and more recently in Ladybirds. We have been amazed by how much our son has learnt in his relatively short time at Devonshire, and really happy with the range of activities on offer. The outdoor play area in Ladybirds is a massive bonus for us given how much he loves being outside.

Like every new mum, I was worried to leave my daughter at nursery for the first time but I can't imagine a better place than Devonshire to look after her. When we drop off my daughter in the morning I know that she will have a fun-filled day in a really caring environment. She seems to love it. The staff in the caterpillar room are really first class and do really take fantastic care of my girl.

The staff are very caring and management are great at communicating/informing parents of issues and updates on Covid-19 etc. My son has thrived socially when interacting with children and adults. His confidence is good to see. He often quotes or sings things he has learnt at nursery. I would recommend the nursery to my friends. I only wish the outdoor garden was larger.
