Devonshire Day Nursery (Chiswick)

We feel so lucky to have Devonshire and the amazing staff who care so much for our two kids who attend. Our younger son has just started in Caterpillars and his older brother is in Butterflies. Devonshire has such a great team of staff who always have the kids' best interests at the forefront and support the children brilliantly. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

Devonshire is a wonderful nursery where our daughter has totally thrived. The staff are warm and caring, room changes are handled very well to ensure smooth transitions and it's just a lovely environment. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Devonshire.

We are very happy with Devonshire Day (Chiswick). Both of our children love going to nursery every day. From creative activities to the new forest school outings, they are always giving the kids new experiences. The practitioners are wonderful with the kids and really go the extra mile to help them grow. They have shown such patience and care in supporting our children, from potty training to managing emotions to learning to read. The management and staff are so knowledgeable about early years development and continue to introduce us to new ways to prepare our kids for school and life. Most importantly, we know that they really care about our kids and that means the world to us.

The girls in my daughter's room are wonderful. Always welcome her with big smiles and hugs and I can tell by the stories I get told at home that she feels loved, safe and has so much fun at nursery. She is learning so much every day.

Throughout his four years at Devonshire, my son has gained confidence and skills that will help him through life. All staff at Devonshire are friendly and very knowledgeable. We, as a family, love Devonshire and will recommend to people looking for outstanding child care. My son has made lots of friends and loves coming in every morning, saying 'hello' to everyone he walks past. Management have been supportive and helpful at every moment. Both of my children attended Devonshire Day Nursery; my daughter attended from ages 3-4 and my son is still there after starting in the Caterpillar room at 8 months old. I honestly don’t even know where to begin with explaining how much we love this nursery! Our daughter never wanted to go home after spending the day in the Butterflies room and, to this day, when we stop by to pick up her brother, she insists on visiting her former classroom to say hello to her teachers (and always gives a big running hug)! And my son loves getting messy and playing with his trucks and reading with the teachers in the Ladybird’s room! The amount of activities they set out for the children each day is astounding; from soapy water play to sand to trains and cooking club. It’s truly amazing! The nursery goes above and beyond to love and nurture the children; it really feels like a little family at Devonshire and we feel so fortunate to have had both of our children there.

Chiswick Devonshire Day Nursery has been a very positive impact on our daughter's life for the past fifteen months. She only does two days a week but has benefited a lot from having peers to play with, a space away from parents and great staff to learn from. We don't have any concerns and the nursery are very communicative and transparent. Have recommended it to other parents and will keep doing so!

Thank you for the Father's Day breakfast but mostly for the attentive work you do with my daughter. Her key person, head of room and the staff, in general, are extremely talented and have been stimulating her development with numerous thoughtful activities. They are also effectively preparing her for school in September.

Lovely staff and happy children. Staff do their best to ensure the kids develop their skills in a compassionate and caring manner. Children learn a lot from their role models in class and have fun doing it. Staff offered a useful behaviour workshop recently which showcases to parents how behaviours are managed in the nursery but also how parents and teachers can work together to ensure coherence.

I have 4 children and my children have attended nurseries all over the world. Devonshire Day Nursery is definitely the best by far. My son walks into Devonshire Day Nursery so calmly but with excitement each day he attends. The educators are always so organised and welcoming at the beginning of the day and informative and calm at the end of the day. I have also found them to be very thorough with their explanations about how my son's day was, what he ate and how he interacted with the other children and staff. I really appreciate the care they give.

We are very happy with Devonshire Day Nursery. Our son has been in a few settings and this has been his favourite by far. The staff are amazing and super caring and both my kids are super happy. Outdoor space is a bit limited but the staff more than make up by doing so many activities and keeping kids happy and entertained always.

Our experience has been nothing but positive. My son loves the nursery and he has developed so much thanks to the love and care and personal attention of the staff. There really is a family feel. He has developed in so many ways which I think he would have missed out on had he stayed at home.
