Kids Inc Day Nursery - York Road (Ilford)

Overall, I did not feel the nursery offered good value for money, and based on my experience I would encourage parents to carefully consider their options.

Amazing experience at kids inc York Road since day 1. All staff are great and I am very happy with the service. My daughter enjoys coming and has learnt soo much. They are always organised and all staff are trained to a high standard. I don't think I could find a better nursery.

Be careful with this nursery and for parents who have never used a nursery before make sure you ask for a breakdown in cost for 0-2 and 3 and above because they charge you more even with the funded hours. When my child turned 3 her charges more than doubled to what I was paying when she was 2. So ask for everything in writing or email. This nursery is very unorganised and doesn't take responsibility for any mistakes. Do not use this nursery because they are not upfront and honest about what you're paying for.

It is heartbreaking to think that my child has had to go through so much pain and trauma. I strongly urge other parents to consider this experience before enrolling their children at Kids Inc Nursery.

I enrolled my child in Kids Inc for a three-hour slot starting in September 2023. Initially expecting a positive experience, I soon found that I was not permitted to accompany my baby, leading to his development of trauma and separation anxiety. Despite my requests, the staff never took him outside or fed him properly. Moreover, they disregarded my efforts to reduce his dummy time, always offering it to him to quell his crying. It’s not worth the money I paid to them. Fortunately, his new nursery is gradually easing him into independence, and within 20 days, he will be fully settled there.

My daughter likes the staff and the nursery. She enjoys doing activities with the staff. All the staff are very nice and also the management doing their job well. School facilities are good. Maybe cleanliness can be improved I believe.

I’m delighted with the experience I’ve had with the team! They’re truly amazing, when my daughter joined back in October, the settling-in sessions were great. My daughter instantly connected with her key worker and, as a first-time mum, I felt at peace knowing she was in safe and capable hands. My daughter has recently transitioned to potty training and the support whilst has been very helpful. I receive regular updates and photos via the nursery app as well as a daily feedback report and review of the day when collecting my child from nursery. Overall very pleased!

My baby girl started at the nursery around 4 months ago, she has learnt so much and become more confident, smart and happy little girl and I appreciate Kids Inc's support in helping to care for her. The staff are extremely helpful and caring.

Great nursery. Love that we get a daily feedback sheet. The app keeps us parents well connected with the nursery and we love to see what our child has been getting up. Staff are all very lovely and provide feedback daily when I collect my child. Would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents. The food provided to the children is varied which exposes them to different types of foods and they are very good at accommodating different dietary needs e.g. halal.

The staff are always so friendly spoken and welcoming. They’re considerate towards my child’s needs. Good, healthy menu with a variety of options, they also provide alternative options for my child when necessary. My child has been there 2 months and has already learnt some good teachings.

My son went to Kids Inc before he was 2, he absolutely loved it. He started big school in September last and I felt he was ready to take the next step with the support of all the staff. My daughter has been going here since she was 9 months. I would highly recommend this nursery, especially if you are a worried parent like me who didn't want to go back to work, after maternity. Staff not only support your child but the parents too in the transition. The place is clean and tidy, the staff are super lovely and always willing to accommodate on the last minute if needed.

The nursery constantly works hard to ensure all adults engage with all children. The environment is friendly and welcoming which puts parents at ease when leaving their little darlings for the day. My son thoroughly enjoys going to nursery and often refuses to leave at the end of the day.

My daughter started at Kids Inc York Road at 12 months and has been attending fulltime for 10 months now. We’ve had such a great experience with this nursery and it has allowed us to feel confident leaving our little girl. She loves the nursery and has really thrived during her time here. The staff have shown a lot of genuine care for her so I know she’s in good hands.

My son has been in the nursery for the last 1.5 years and I can only admire the work the nursery is doing, he has progressed so much in terms of social skills, learning skills and language skills. The nursery staff has been really great and is so caring and loving, my son loves going to the nursery! I would only recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a place to send their child to!

Very good nursery. I have been really impressed with the level of care my son has received. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble and they will help in any way they can.

The best thing about the nursery is that my son loves to go there. And as a mother I can sense that he feels happy and safe there. The staff is really sweet, helpful and always smiling. They engage the kids in different activities. Also, the daily feedback forms really help us to keep track of how the kid is doing. Overall very happy with the nursery.
