Buttercups Isleworth are an outstanding nursery, conveniently located on the Twickenham Road. As with all Buttercups nurseries, they focus on "learning through play" where the child's natural curiosity drives their learning. They use a variety of teaching mechanisms, including Montessori and HighScope, and believe in the importance of nature and time outside.

Buttercups Isleworth is a large, free flow building, with plenty of space for active learners. They have a separate room for children under 2 and a quiet sleep room. There is lots to explore and discover at this nursery and a huge garden filled with toys and equipment. In the warmer months, the preschool visit Buttercups Syon Park for Forest School sessions.

Buttercups believe that a well-cared for team results in well-cared for children, so they are committed to making sure staff feel supported, rewarded and challenged. They continually develop the skills and qualifications of their team through extensive in-house training programmes and external courses, ensuring children are provided the very best care.

I have loved every aspect of this nursery and wish I sent my child sooner. My son has excelled here in everything I feel. I never felt I left him to strangers, they are like family. A safe and loved place where every child deserves to be.

I cannot recommend Buttercups Isleworth nursery more highly. The staff are wonderful and my children adore them. They come home exhausted, telling stories of things they’ve done, who they played with, what they’ve learned. Both of my children went/go to Buttercups and they have loved it and we have
made firm family friends.

Our daughter has been attending day nursery here for two years now and is developing into such a lovely child. Her educational and social needs are of a high standard and her well being is looked after very caring and lovingly.
She is very happy here and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and caring.
We highly recommend this nursery and are very happy with the care we all receive.

Our son has been at Buttercups for just over a year now. He started when he was only six months old and has absolutely thrived there over his time. The staff are like family to him and they take great pride in his development, learning and also his wellbeing. They have made an incredible effort to further
his development, weaning him, helping him learn to crawl and then walk, eating with a spoon on his own, as well as understanding vocab and instruction and to be kind. Our little one is independent and confident and so comfortable in his surroundings. When he's been poorly, he's so comfortable with their staff and they can settle him before we get home to collect him. He paints, plays sport, attends all of the music sessions, bakes and cooks, dances and does motions to nursery rhymes... all development areas that he has been taught at nursery and we can further develop with him at home on weekends. We couldn't recommend the staff at Buttercups Isleworth enough. They are absolutely brilliant.

Our nearly 4-year-old son has been at Buttercups for a year and has learned a lot, made friends and bonded with the teachers, who care about what they do and put so much energy into it. A variety of activities happen each week, both generated by staff, including singing, early literacy, themed and seasonal
activities, and special activities from visitors, such as sports and music. They report at each pick-up on what the child has eaten (NB. the food is good), and how they've been.

We joined our son in Buttercups at Isleworth when he was 10 months old. Now he is 13 months happily going to nursery all five days/week. In this centre the staff are amazing. They are loving and caring with the kids. Also, they give suggestions to parents on how to cope up with babies at home when they
are away, with the food etc. My son is picking up on social skills, music, learning abilities, table manners. Working parents can blindly trust and leave their child at Buttercups happily with no stress.
They have a variety of food in a week - breakfast, lunch, teatime, snacks, milk etc. probably at home, we may not provide all those varieties to the kid. All 5 Stars to Buttercups.

I am very grateful to Buttercups, Isleworth for the outstanding care my son receives there. I don't really talk much to the teachers or other parents about the ins and outs of my sons time at the nursery but judging by his sheer enthusiasm to get up in the morning to get to nursery makes me very happy.
The communication I've had with the staff has been very good and comforting. The facilities and activities at the nursery are very good too.

Very good care.
The staff are kind and smile always, especially the manager who is organised and always focuses on improvements without the environment turning into a work zone in spite of dealing with a relatively large number of parents, kids and staff.
At a young age the experience, love and consistent

The staff are friendly and attentive. I’ve never had any concerns with the child to carer ratio and the range of food they provide is fantastic. I find the way they approach learning is also excellent, children are encouraged to be independent and expressive and if there’s an opportunity to be outside
in the play area they do so. The playground could probably do with a little investment (resurfacing of astroturf) but it’s a good-sized, safe space to play. Communication has been an issue in the past but this is now a lot better with the regular weekly newsletter. It would be great to see them adopt additional ICT tools like EY logs which a lot of primary schools now use and is a fantastic way to see what your child is doing and how they are progressing.

Our daughter started at Buttercups in January 2019. She had 2 weeks of settling in time which is very good. She settled in well quickly with the excellent help of the staff. The staff at Buttercups are very friendly and professional. The facilities and resources are really good and there are lots of
different activities that the children undertake. The standard of care is 2nd to none. Our daughter is very happy at Buttercups nursery and has learnt so much since she started and she looks forward to attending each time.

Both my daughters attend this nursery and we have been extremely pleased with the service provided over the last three years. The children are well cared for and have a variety of activities to keep them engaged and aid with learning. The food is healthy and varied and I'm always amazed how orderly
meals times are compared to ours at home. We've never had any concerns over safety and both children enjoy the nursery and the teachers. The nursery has good outdoor space and the children are encouraged to go outside all year round weather permitting. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery.

Our Nursery Head Teacher, Cat, has worked in childcare for 16 years. She started as a Nursery Teacher with Buttercups at Syon Park before gaining promotion to Room Head, then Deputy Head. She has now joined our Leadership Team as Nursery Head Teacher at Buttercups Isleworth. Cat is committed to creating lasting relationships with children, parents and colleagues. Cat has studied up to a Level 5 in Childcare Management and is passionate about baby brain development.
