Buttercups Isleworth are an outstanding nursery, conveniently located on the Twickenham Road. As with all Buttercups nurseries, they focus on "learning through play" where the child's natural curiosity drives their learning. They use a variety of teaching mechanisms, including Montessori and HighScope, and believe in the importance of nature and time outside.

Buttercups Isleworth is a large, free flow building, with plenty of space for active learners. They have a separate room for children under 2 and a quiet sleep room. There is lots to explore and discover at this nursery and a huge garden filled with toys and equipment. In the warmer months, the preschool visit Buttercups Syon Park for Forest School sessions.

Buttercups believe that a well-cared for team results in well-cared for children, so they are committed to making sure staff feel supported, rewarded and challenged. They continually develop the skills and qualifications of their team through extensive in-house training programmes and external courses, ensuring children are provided the very best care.

Excellent care from a dedicated, enthusiastic team. My grandson is developing well beyond his age milestones. The newsletter keeps us up to date on his activities. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Buttercups, Isleworth.

My 3-year-old daughter goes to Buttercups and loves it. She has made lots of friends and talks non-stop about her teachers. She amazes me with how much she learns every day - from phonics to planets. On the one occasion, they had to self-isolate, the Nursery left a pack on our doorstep and my daughter
had lots of fun cutting out and tracing using the activities they provided. The staff are friendly and caring and the meals they provide are nutritious and tasty. The Nursery Manager is lovely and really cares about each child. I couldn't recommend Buttercups more.

We've been at this nursery for 3 years and absolutely love it. The staff are so friendly, caring and engaging with the children. The nursery manager is very receptive to parents' needs. The food provided is homecooked, healthy and varied. They have a convenient car park too which is so helpful for pick
up and drop off. The nursery has also adapted very well to the COVID19 guidelines. They take great care in sanitising and general cleaning which has been so reassuring, along with bubbles created within the childrens' groups. We are very happy with the nursery and how much they've nurtured my child since his first day at the baby room. Thank you to all the Buttercups Isleworth team - you are all doing an incredible job.

We absolutely love Buttercups Isleworth and are so glad we chose this nursery for our son. He has been there since he was five months old and is now full time as a two-year-old. The staff are caring and very supportive of his development, which has come on in incredible leaps and bounds. Buttercups
have taught our son everything - he has a huge vocabulary for a two-year-old, he says please and thank you without having to be prompted, he waits for his turn and knows how to share. He is always coming home telling us about the amazing things he has been doing and we love to see the photographs Buttercups share each week, with our son doing activities we never thought to try with him. We are always especially impressed to see photos of a group of two-year-olds sitting so calmly together: mixing ingredients for a cake, engaging in messy play, or sharing family photos and stories with each other at circle time. We don't know how the ladies at Buttercups do it, but they are magic.

Buttercups at Isleworth has provided exceptional care to our 17-month-old son since he was 10 months old. He has loved the setting from the moment he first set foot in the nursery and the variety and quality of the activities, facilities and meals means he is a curious, contented and healthy toddler.
The carers are engaged, attentive and highly observant of our son's individual development and his social interactions. The management team is personable, diligent and communicative and has always been highly responsive no matter how big or small the ask. Overall, we are absolutely delighted with the nursery and would (and do!) highly recommend it to others looking for early years setting.

My little one started in January 2021 and is doing really well. The daily reports are great and he comes home happy and content, having eaten and slept really well, far better than my expectation - the sleeping in particular!
We actually signed up in mid-2020, and have been so pleased with the level
of communication and care experienced all throughout the process of being a client of this nursery, even before we actually started physically attending.

Our boy turns 1 this weekend and he's been going to Buttercups Isleworth for about 3 months. He absolutely loves going to nursery! He's often full of smiles and baby babble when we pick him up. The staff have been very warm and caring which helped him settle in well. My husband and I have been extremely
impressed with his day-to-day activities including mealtime, garden time, messy play and group activities. We love reading the weekly newsletters too! Keep up the good work.

I cannot praise Buttercups Nursery, and their staff, highly enough. Our daughter has benefitted from outstanding care since she joined the nursery as a baby, right through to her graduation from preschool this month. The staff are wonderful and each of her key workers has been so special to her. She
has utterly flourished in her time at Buttercups and has learnt so much. There is a huge range of activities through the week and a perfect balance of structure and free-play. The food has always been excellent, with an impressive and varied menu. And the team deserve a special call-out for how fantastically they have managed the challenges of this year.

I could not have wished for a better start for my daughter. She absolutely loves attending Buttercups at Isleworth. The staff have such a loving and caring manner with all the children. My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 8-months-old, she is now 3 and a half. I drop her off every
morning feeling so reassured that she is in good hands. They always have such a broad range of exciting activities set out for the children.

My son started with Buttercups Isleworth in Dec 2019, at six months old. He is now nine months old. I highly recommend Buttercups Isleworth due to their very caring and kind nature with all the children at all times. The amount of thought and consideration that goes into each day and week is incredible.
I have seen my baby thrive week on week. The nutrition, activities, guided learning and play, has been so beneficial for him. The feedback book we receive daily is very much appreciated and we love the weekly newsletter which details what the focus of the week has been in terms of learning activities. Hygiene standards are excellent. The manager sets the tone of the nursery which is welcoming, friendly and caring from all the staff.

Our Nursery Head Teacher, Cat, has worked in childcare for 16 years. She started as a Nursery Teacher with Buttercups at Syon Park before gaining promotion to Room Head, then Deputy Head. She has now joined our Leadership Team as Nursery Head Teacher at Buttercups Isleworth. Cat is committed to creating lasting relationships with children, parents and colleagues. Cat has studied up to a Level 5 in Childcare Management and is passionate about baby brain development.
