Buttercups Isleworth are an outstanding nursery, conveniently located on the Twickenham Road. As with all Buttercups nurseries, they focus on "learning through play" where the child's natural curiosity drives their learning. They use a variety of teaching mechanisms, including Montessori and HighScope, and believe in the importance of nature and time outside.

Buttercups Isleworth is a large, free flow building, with plenty of space for active learners. They have a separate room for children under 2 and a quiet sleep room. There is lots to explore and discover at this nursery and a huge garden filled with toys and equipment. In the warmer months, the preschool visit Buttercups Syon Park for Forest School sessions.

Buttercups believe that a well-cared for team results in well-cared for children, so they are committed to making sure staff feel supported, rewarded and challenged. They continually develop the skills and qualifications of their team through extensive in-house training programmes and external courses, ensuring children are provided the very best care.

The team at this nursery is fantastic - well trained, supportive, open to feedback and innovative! They're always looking for new activities and experiences for the children, like the visit from the police service a month ago, garden bugs hunting or entering young writers competitions!

The whole staff team are great, the care of the children is first class and their enjoyment and development is clearly centre stage in all that they do. The feedback on the progress of our daughter is very comprehensive. Staff also respond immediately to any concerns/questions, however small.

My daughter was a lockdown baby and started at Buttercups when she was 12 months old having lived most of her life under social restrictions. I was therefore quite anxious about how she would adjust when she was not used to meeting strangers and had experienced limited social contact. However, the staff
at Buttercups have been truly wonderful. The settling-in process was gradual and gentle - the staff really understand how to ease the babies into their new surroundings. You really get a sense that they care and are kind and generous with the time they give to each child. I love reading the daily updates in my daughter's book about her activities, sleep and food and of course seeing the photographs of her having fun at nursery! I have been very pleasantly surprised at how quickly my daughter settled in and it is so reassuring to know how well she is being looked after when I leave her. I am so grateful to Buttercups and have already recommended it to several friends!

The word outstanding certainly applies to Buttercups Isleworth. The staff do an amazing job with nurturing and developing the children in all areas from motor skills, communication, socialisation, nutrition and general well being. They clearly have a great affection for the children in their care and
inculcate a gentle nourishing atmosphere.

My son started Buttercups at Isleworth nursery when he was only nine months and now he is four years old and in pre-school. He loves going to the nursery. We are so impressed with his development and growth, thanks to Buttercups at Isleworth for providing all the support, from learning colours, to writing
his own name. All credit goes to Buttercups at Isleworth teachers. I remember toilet training was difficult with him but the teachers helped us a lot, thanks for the support and guidance. We love the staff, all of them are very friendly and professional. We highly recommend this nursery.

My son has attended Buttercups since he was 1 year old. Since that first day, he has loved it. The team do a fantastic job of being caring, making sure the kids are learning and having fun too! He’s made some lovely friends there and I love the daily updates and weekly newsletters where I find out what
he’s been up to - seeing the photos are the favourite part of my week. I looked at other nurseries but was instantly struck by how warm, friendly, fun and safe Buttercups Isleworth felt. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

So glad I made the decision to send my twins to Buttercups at Isleworth. They have developed so much over the last 5 months through the activities they take part in and the dedication from staff (who they have built strong relationships with).
I can leave them knowing that they are receiving the best
care.
The bedding in process was gradual and all staff were happy to reassure me of how they were getting on which was important as this can be a very nervous time for parents. Would highly recommend.

As a parent, I am extremely satisfied with the care offered to my daughter and the learning she gets from being at the day care. The nursery focuses on the overall development of the child through a range of activities like writing/cooking/yoga/music/messy play/outdoor activities/reading etc.

This is a great nursery altogether. The staff are excellent and love being with the children. Our son is four and unlike his previous nursery, he has been placed in a preschool group with peers that are the same age as him, in other nurseries the three and four year old's are often in the same group.
The emphasis on learning covers everything from reading and numeracy to health and well-being.

There are a range of reasons why I think Buttercups at Isleworth has been so good for my second child. These include excellent staff with a caring and nurturing approach, educational focus through play, a large nursery with good outdoor space, a variety of activities and stimulation, an open door policy
and
consistency with the staff group. Any worries that I have for my child have always been met with a keenness and caring attitude. They have always been sensitive and proactive. I have experienced other nurseries and child care provisions like child minders. This has been the best.

I cannot recommend highly enough Buttercups at Isleworth. The care shown by all the excellent, attentive staff is outstanding. Each child is given individual care and attention as well as promoting group social activities. The children have great fun learning which is of a high quality. The daily communication
book and all parental contact is highly valued, especially the weekly newsletter and pictures which help promote parental inclusivity. Wide ranging learning topics promote excellent all round development, both physical, emotional and verbal. All meals provided are varied and of an excellent standard and much loved by my Grandson. The manager promotes these high standards, she is very supportive and has a superb all round knowledge of every child. The nursery provides the best of care and allows each child to excel.

We started our son at Buttercups at Isleworth nursery in January 2021 at one-years-old and we’ve never looked back! We have seen his confidence grow and can see he is very happy being there. All credit goes to the wonderful and dedicated team. The manager is a fantastic manager who kept me informed
of my son’s well-being during the first few weeks. I love reading his diary every day, and I am impressed (and relieved) that he eats all his food and naps very well there too. I would definitely recommend Buttercups at Isleworth nursery to prospective parents.

My child is in pre-school and I m so impressed with his learning. He loves to talk about his teachers and how he is learning new things every day. Only last week, he learnt about Space and he was telling us all about it. I appreciate the professionalism of the staff. All the staff members are very cordial

My daughter has been attending Buttercupsat Isleworth for one and a half years and has had a wonderful experience so far. The staff are incredibly caring and supportive, as well as playful and very happy. My daughter is going through quite a clingy phase which is very hard as a mother, but the way
the manager has handled the situation has been brilliant! I receive daily reassurance that my daughter is doing well, along with photos and videos of her taking part in activities and interacting with other children. She certainly looks very happy when she’s there. My daughter is developing well and is going to be well prepared to start school in September. I can’t recommend Buttercups at Isleworth highly enough. They are a genuine bunch of lovely, caring people, working really hard to make sure my daughter feels cared for and loved, as well as having lots of fun.

My two boys both attend Buttercups at Isleworth. The experience we've had is second to none - from excellent facilities to friendly, engaged teachers. Both boys love attending the nursery and come home exhausted after a fun-filled day with lots of painting and stories about what they got up to during
the day. Food must be brilliant as well, as the forms they bring home usually say they went back for seconds.

Our son attends Buttercups and it's been a fabulous experience for him. We enrolled him when he was only about 6 months old and it was a tough separation for my wife, as he was so young.
Since attending, his development has been superb. He's learning about songs, colours, nature, arts and crafts,
and has made some great little mates that he sometimes sees on the weekends.
The careworkers are top-notch. No matter how busy the place seems to be with all of the kids, they are always courteous, kind, and cheerful when we interact with them. The meals he enjoys while there are well thought out and prepared.
One of our favourite moments was when the kids did a Zoom Christmas concert and we could see our little guy participating with all of the children.
You can't put a price tag on the development and well-being of your child as they adjust to the world, and we're really glad we were able to get our son in and have enjoyed the progress he has made at Buttercups Isleworth!

Our Nursery Head Teacher, Cat, has worked in childcare for 16 years. She started as a Nursery Teacher with Buttercups at Syon Park before gaining promotion to Room Head, then Deputy Head. She has now joined our Leadership Team as Nursery Head Teacher at Buttercups Isleworth. Cat is committed to creating lasting relationships with children, parents and colleagues. Cat has studied up to a Level 5 in Childcare Management and is passionate about baby brain development.
