Buttercups Isleworth are an outstanding nursery, conveniently located on the Twickenham Road. As with all Buttercups nurseries, they focus on "learning through play" where the child's natural curiosity drives their learning. They use a variety of teaching mechanisms, including Montessori and HighScope, and believe in the importance of nature and time outside.

Buttercups Isleworth is a large, free flow building, with plenty of space for active learners. They have a separate...

My daughter has been at Isleworth Buttercups since mid-September. The whole process, from arranging settling sessions to starting full days to the first review with her keyworker has been wonderful and very reassuring for a first-time parent!
The staff are very engaged, and the daily feedback from the nursery in written and electronic form is a great way to keep us updated without feeling like we're being bombarded. I really like the number of opportunities they offer for parents to engage with their children's development.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Isleworth Buttercups to anyone else locally who is looking for a nursery place.

My daughter has been attending Isleworth Buttercups for the past 18 months, since she turned 1. She absolutely loves attending and regularly talks about the other children and staff with warmth and friendliness. The staff are all really caring and seem to genuinely enjoy their roles and interacting with the children. The children undertake a variety of activities every day with dedicated daily garden time, meaning they always get fresh air and time outdoors. Not only are they helping create a confident, happy child, but they are also teaching her independence and the ability to do things for herself. It is notable compared to NCT friends at different nurseries how much more capable and independent my daughter is. There is always a degree of mum guilt about leaving her at nursery, but it really is minimal because I know how happy she is there and how well the staff look after her. I can not recommend the nursery highly enough and would recommend any local families to consider sending their child(ren) there.

I love Buttercups at Isleworth. My daughter is always happy to go and happy when she finishes. They are specially careful with kids with allergies and their food checking system is robust. The manager is a great professional and runs the nursery in an excellent way.

Staff are always welcoming when the children arrive in the morning. They are great at interacting with the children and were fantastic at helping my little one settle in at the beginning. It's a great nursery, overall. Genuinely happy we selected this one.

I have been very impressed with how Buttercups at Isleworth has handled everything over the last 12 months. In such challenging times, they have continued to go above and beyond for the kids putting on fun activities and learning for the children. They have been a lifeline for my family. I would highly recommend it.

My grandchild has been going to Buttercups for the last two years and is due to leave to start school this September. She has and still is so happy at nursery. She has made some very close friends and she just loves all the teachers. All the teachers are so welcoming and always give updates and feedback. She plays nursery at home too. She has learnt so much from singing, sports, learning the alphabet and her numbers and colours. She practises her reading daily and has even taught me a few things that she has learnt. Every week there is a big focus subject that they all explore, so no day or week is the same. My granddaughter is so happy there she doesn't want to leave to start school. It is just a wonderful feeling to see her skip into nursery each morning and not have time to say goodbye to me. I would thoroughly recommend the nursery.

The team at this nursery is fantastic - well trained, supportive, open to feedback and innovative! They're always looking for new activities and experiences for the children, like the visit from the police service a month ago, garden bugs hunting or entering young writers competitions!

The whole staff team are great, the care of the children is first class and their enjoyment and development is clearly centre stage in all that they do. The feedback on the progress of our daughter is very comprehensive. Staff also respond immediately to any concerns/questions, however small.

My daughter was a lockdown baby and started at Buttercups when she was 12 months old having lived most of her life under social restrictions. I was therefore quite anxious about how she would adjust when she was not used to meeting strangers and had experienced limited social contact. However, the staff at Buttercups have been truly wonderful. The settling-in process was gradual and gentle - the staff really understand how to ease the babies into their new surroundings. You really get a sense that they care and are kind and generous with the time they give to each child. I love reading the daily updates in my daughter's book about her activities, sleep and food and of course seeing the photographs of her having fun at nursery! I have been very pleasantly surprised at how quickly my daughter settled in and it is so reassuring to know how well she is being looked after when I leave her. I am so grateful to Buttercups and have already recommended it to several friends!

My son started Buttercups at Isleworth nursery when he was only nine months and now he is four years old and in pre-school. He loves going to the nursery. We are so impressed with his development and growth, thanks to Buttercups at Isleworth for providing all the support, from learning colours, to writing his own name. All credit goes to Buttercups at Isleworth teachers. I remember toilet training was difficult with him but the teachers helped us a lot, thanks for the support and guidance. We love the staff, all of them are very friendly and professional. We highly recommend this nursery.

My son has attended Buttercups since he was 1 year old. Since that first day, he has loved it. The team do a fantastic job of being caring, making sure the kids are learning and having fun too! He’s made some lovely friends there and I love the daily updates and weekly newsletters where I find out what he’s been up to - seeing the photos are the favourite part of my week. I looked at other nurseries but was instantly struck by how warm, friendly, fun and safe Buttercups Isleworth felt. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

So glad I made the decision to send my twins to Buttercups at Isleworth. They have developed so much over the last 5 months through the activities they take part in and the dedication from staff (who they have built strong relationships with).
I can leave them knowing that they are receiving the best care.

The bedding in process was gradual and all staff were happy to reassure me of how they were getting on which was important as this can be a very nervous time for parents. Would highly recommend.
