Buttercups Ealing, conveniently located near Ealing station, provides quality day care to children. Located in an elegant Victorian building, each age group has their own dedicated room, with preschool children enjoying the whole top floor with Montessori classrooms. All children have plenty of time outdoors in the huge garden with a Forest School area, lots of equipment and a vegetable garden. The nursery has a focus on "learning through play", where the child's natural curiosity drives their learning.

Buttercups are committed to supporting their team of practitioners, ensuring they feel rewarded and challenged throughout their roles. I have used this nursery previously with my daughter and now with my son due to it being an amazing setting for childcare, learning and the staff that are there. The environment is traditional and homely whilst also being progressive in its learning styles and care. I love the creativity of the setting
which encourages imaginative play and learning. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter started nursery before lock down and then went back right after. I've seen her learning so many new skills since she started nursery and she's so happy to spend time with the teachers and the other children. The teachers are really great and caring and always make sure to update us on her
progress and how her day has been. The facilities are very clean and the children do loads of activities that entertain them as well as help them to develop new abilities. I really recommend the Buttercups at Ealing.

Our children, aged one and two and a half, have been full time at Buttercups in Ealing since age nine months, and I can't speak highly enough of the fantastic job they do. Our children love going there each day. They have a great rapport with the staff, who are incredibly caring, knowledgeable and offer
great support to parents through the different milestones (potty training is the latest success!). The breadth of activities they engage the children in is amazing to see, and every day is extremely well planned and well organized. Both children have really come on in leaps and bounds - the emphasis at this age is of course fun and play but they really learn a lot at the same time. The facilities are fantastic - each age group has their own room with lots of age-appropriate equipment and there is a very spacious garden that children play in every day - including a separate section for the youngest children so that they are safe and secure to explore. Finally, the varied menu of healthy food is excellent.

I can’t speak highly enough of Buttercups. My daughter is never happier than when heading in there for a day of fun activities. The staff are so friendly and really caring. I couldn’t think of a better place to leave my daughter. She has a fun-filled day every day with creative activities that build

My daughter adores this nursery, she is 16months old and is excited to get there every morning. She is happy, confident and developing well. There is a great balance between learning, play and all-important cuddles. The team are all lovely: so caring, careful and trustworthy. I feel that they really
listen to me as a parent, and respond well to any feedback I give them. They take health and safety very seriously. Am hoping my daughter will stay at Buttercups all the way through till pre-school, and would highly recommend this nursery to others. It's worth saying I visited LOTS of nurseries before making this choice and I am confident I chose the right one!

My first daughter went to Buttercups in Chiswick and we were very pleased so when we moved to Ealing, Buttercups Ealing was the perfect choice for our second daughter. We are delighted by the staff, the activities and the care. My little one is a bit shy and don’t like new people but she is always happy
to go to the nursery every morning and the settling has been really easy even after confinement.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. Staff are very professional and care for your child. They take into account any special requests you may have as a parent and you can see they really love each and every child. They have adapted to Covid in a highly professional manner and have proven to be very flexible.
I wouldn't think of anywhere else for my daughter.

I can’t fault the level of care and attention both my children received, the staff are so lovely, newsletters etc very informative, the activities for the children are well thought out. I noticed my children were so happy to attend. A great early years school.

Buttercups Ealing has been an eye-opener for us as a family. We finally found a nursery that supports, cares and motivates children. The nursery manager has been incredible. Not only is she caring of the children, she is also caring of the families. The children adore her and I couldn’t think of anywhere
I’d rather leave my little boys. It is a safe, stimulating and engaging environment. It is run by a manager who adores children and is so passionate about their wellbeing and development. We tried another nursery in Ealing prior to this and a childminder but nothing compares to the happiness we have seen in our son since starting buttercups. Our little boy has had some challenging health issues and the manager has been so kind and with us along the whole process. We feel like it’s a home from home environment where he can thrive. I have recommended this nursery to friends and would recommend it to anyone. A child’s happiness is key and this is a place of joy.

We have one daughter that has completed nursery, having joined at six months old and another who started a year ago. Our experience at Buttercups has honestly been excellent. Both girls have thrived under the care of the excellent staff and it is clear they are genuinely cared for. Buttercups was a
lively and happy nursery when we first joined however they have continued to invest and progress as a nursery year on year. There are multiple rooms that are well-staffed, this means the girls have received appropriate attention and there is clear educational progression as you advance through nursery. There is an excellent outdoor area that is used daily and there is a wide variety of activities that the children undertake, including external visits, sports, dance and IT. Both daughters have clearly been very happy at nursery and I believe Buttercups has put them in the best possible place to start school with confidence.

My son is an extremely shy boy who attended Buttercups at Ealing 2 days a week and only recently became full time. While he was 2 days a week, my son would be very distressed at drop off but no matter how busy, a member of staff would cuddle him until he settled down which could last quite a while.
Their patience and care for him was outstanding despite the additional attention required (compared to others) and never made us feel like a burden. Since becoming full time, he has formed stronger relationships with other children and through the varied curriculum including Montessori, I’ve noticed my son’s confidence sky-rocket. From an incredibly shy boy, he has transformed into someone who now relishes speaking in front of others through show and tell and even danced in front of an audience at the Easter Parade. I’m so proud of his development and am certain that this is down to the incredible staff and their ability to mentally stimulate and make learning fun.

Buttercups at Ealing has been the first experience for us and I am very happy with baby room staff. They helped my daughter to settle well with nursery routine and now my daughter is loving to go to nursery.
She learns new activities almost daily and she is singing new rhymes also with actions. I would
definitely recommend to someone.

From the time I placed my son at Buttercups at Ealing Nursery when he was 8 months old I had no worries. My son was happy during the settling in. He gets on so well with the staff and always happy to see them. They keep you updated with weekly newsletters and regular emails. The staff are lovely and
friendly and the management is very approachable. I am very satisfied with the care that my son receives.

My son has been at nursery since April 2017. He started off such a shy boy who would not socialise or feel comfortable around others. However, since starting he has become so confident and has developed so much in all areas. Everyone in my life has seen such a big improvement. He has a great bond with
all of the staff at the nursery. I feel comfortable leaving him as I know he is happy, safe and enjoys going each day. The nursery offers a great variety of meals which he enjoys and helps me at home.

Buttercups at Ealing is a truly admirable nursery with an inspirational team behind it that have worked to transform children’s early years learning. Very good nursery. All the teachers are loving and caring. My son had a tough settling in but since then is just loving it. Cannot wait to go to the nursery every morning(which hurts a bit). All my thanks to the staffs.

Sarah has 30 years of experience in childcare. She joined Buttercups back in 1993 as a practitioner and has worked her way up to Senior Manager. Sarah is passionate about childcare, especially what the children get out of their time at nursery. Mostly though, she just loves spending time with the children.
