Buttercups Ealing, conveniently located near Ealing station, provides quality day care to children. Located in an elegant Victorian building, each age group has their own dedicated room, with preschool children enjoying the whole top floor with Montessori classrooms. All children have plenty of time outdoors in the huge garden with a Forest School area, lots of equipment and a vegetable garden. The nursery has a focus on "learning through play", where the child's natural curiosity drives their learning.

Buttercups are committed to supporting their team of practitioners, ensuring they feel rewarded and challenged throughout their roles. They provide continuous opportunities for staff to develop their skills and qualifications through in-house training programmes and external courses as they believe a happy team results in happy children.

We have been fortunate enough to have both of our children at Buttercups in Ealing. We originally chose it for the genuine sense of happiness that we found when we toured it and this has continued with both of our children attending over the last four years.

We have known Buttercups at Ealing for over six years with our two children having been here from young babies and have always felt completely confident that our children were being offered the best care and learning possible. Endlessly impressed with the activities they do, often things I would have
never dreamt of doing at home, as well as the amount of time spent in the lovely garden. The children are well fed and magically seem to eat things there which they outright refuse to eat at home. The manager and assistant manager are ever visible and available and they and their wonderful staff really care about the children. Despite how busy they are, time is always made to provide and receive feedback, issues are raised with action plans suggested and detailed newsletters sent weekly. Handling of the Covid-19 pandemic has been incredible and the level of learning and school preparedness is outstanding. Finally, my child is happy to go in and happy and full of new knowledge at the end of the day.

Our son attended Buttercups at Ealing nursery from seven months old and he is now about to be a three-year-old preschooler. The reason why we chose Buttercups at Ealing in the beginning was because of its location, close to Ealing Broadway Station, as well as this they are part of an Ofsted of an outstanding
group of nurseries. From baby room to lilies and daises, my son has received so much care, love and attention from staff in every room, as well as managers at Buttercups at Ealing. He has learnt a lot from day to day and month to month, from a crawling baby to a happy toddler. Buttercups at Ealing staff give feedback on a regular basis, even under Covid-19 restrictions they used virtual phone calls to speak to us parents about our child's development. We especially like the variety of activities Buttercups at Ealing have provided to our son, science experiments and Montessori play are the most mentioned topics our son shares after coming back home. He enjoys his time at Buttercups at Ealing so much, asking to go to nursery every single morning!

Buttercups at Ealing have been absolutely brilliant over this last year whilst dealing with Covid-19 and lockdown. They’ve worked hard to keep the children healthy and safe, while continuing to enable my daughter to thrive in her class. She loves her yoga classes and all her arts and crafts. She’s starting
to learn her numbers and letters and feels very proud of herself. She has so many friends who she enjoys interacting with. Overall, I couldn’t ask for a better nursery setting for my daughter. Thanks all at Buttercups at Ealing for all your great work.

Both our children attend this nursery and we could not be happier. The staff are fantastic and work extremely hard to make sure each day is engaging. The manager and the team should be very proud of the environment and welcoming atmosphere they have created.

The staff are exceptionally caring and loving and the schedule is packed with educational and super fun activities.
Our son looks forward to spending time with his friends and teachers and gets really excited every morning when we approach the gate.
I'm glad we chose Buttercups to be our son's second
home.

We have sent all three of our children to Buttercups Ealing and I can’t rate it highly enough. Our youngest started in February and has settled in seamlessly thanks to the wonderful, caring team. Our middle daughter is in pre-school and is coming on leaps and bounds in terms of phonics, writing and
social skills. The staff are kind and have a genuine passion for helping kids thrive and grow. All three of our children have been so happy there and have made great friends along the way. I would strongly recommend Buttercups.

Can't rate this nursery highly enough. We've two children who attend and they absolutely love it. The staff are wonderful and have built fantastic relationships with the children. There is a great balance of fun and education, together with personal care and other life skills. Seeing how the children

My daughter started at Buttercups in January, just before her 1st birthday. This was the first time she had been away from us and so it was a huge adjustment, but the warm and caring nature of the Buttercups team helped so much. My daughter adores the girls and comes out happy every day. The team keeps
parents in the loop with daily feedback and a weekly newsletter full of stories and photos from the week, which is lovely to see. I have already recommended the nursery as we are so happy with our decision for her to attend. She now sleeps and eats before than ever before, which I am certain is thanks to the nursery!

We moved our daughter to Buttercups Nursery in Ealing from another local nursery 7 months ago. She joined the Preschool part of the nursery and we are delighted with our decision. My daughter loves going to the nursery and she comes home with a spring in her step. The management has done a very professional
job in this COVID environment of implementing policies which give me the confidence that the children and staff’s health and safety are paramount. The quality of care is excellent and the staff are clearly aware of the individual needs of each child. I have been really impressed with the variety of topics that are covered during the week and the way they are preparing the children for school. The feedback process is very good with a very detailed review of the week's activities on Fridays along with more individual feedback during the week at pick up time. One of the other big positives I have noticed is the very low staff turnover compared to most other nurseries.

We are quite happy with the nursery so far as they have been highly professional in their approach, as well as receptive to any feedback/suggestions. An outstanding childcare provider. Our son has attended Buttercups for two years and I have no doubt that he would not be the outgoing, happy little boy that he is without the support and kindness he is shown at Buttercups. They promote independence, provide lots of opportunities for learning through
play and have a fabulous attitude to outdoor time - (rain or shine). They make all their food onsite and have a wonderful team of nursery practitioners who are led by a lovely management team. Would highly recommend.

Buttercups is a fantastic nursery and my son has been very happy there since he started in the babies room, right up until now in pre-school.
The learning is great. My son comes back buzzing with things he's learned every day as well as a steady stream of craft activities. His language and knowledge
is developing at such an amazing rate, I think he'll be very well prepared for school.
The rooms, facilities and garden are really nice. I also really like how often they take the kids out to the garden, come rain or shine. I think time outdoors is very important so this was one of the key factors in choosing this nursery.
The staff are really friendly and communicative. They send a newsletter every week so you always feel like you know what is going on and give you daily updates as well. My son also adores them.
I've been really impressed with how they've handled the changes due to COVID at the nursery and more widely as a nursery group.

We really love this nursery that supported the development of our child for 3 years.
Things we particularly loved:
- fresh food cooked every day on-site by resident cook.
- large garden, especially for Ealing Broadway standards.
- part of a chain so policies, procedures and escalation contacts in
place.
- excellent leadership and management by the manager, especially during a stressful, uncertain pandemic.
- weekly newsletter with photos was lovely.
- competent staff in Poppies, in preschool - they really supported us and helped my daughter get into our preferred school(s) of choice.
- excellent structure and routine that we adopted at home.
- optional extracurricular paid for activities like sports school and computer class options have been handy to have access to.
What could be improved: Fee pricing points by head office can be steep; Perhaps invest in a computer or computer tablet in preschool, outside of classes for children to accustom themselves to IT.

Absolutely amazing nursery - nothing is ever too much of an ask of the managing staff and the room leaders and teachers are incredibly caring and helpful. They have built such a strong relationship with my child and have actively developed her and furthered her learning in partnership with me. The level
of care and support is second to none. Great at asking for and taking on suggestions from parents too.

We joined this wonderful Nursery during lockdown when our previous one closed down. The moment we stepped into the Nursery I felt safe and I knew my child would be too. The staff are so knowledgeable, professional and above all kind and caring.
The Nursery was able to accommodate us for the days and
times that we needed from day one.
I particularly enjoy receiving the weekly newsletter on Fridays that includes a detailed description of what my child has been learning all week, photos included. With social distancing in mind, I am also provided with a detailed handwritten note of the activities my child has been doing that day and meals she has had. The curriculum is vast, I am amazed that my 3-year-old knows the 7 continents of the world already! She enjoys attending her Nursery and has made a lot of friends and continues to develop as a confident and chatty preschooler!

Sarah has 30 years of experience in childcare. She joined Buttercups back in 1993 as a practitioner and has worked her way up to Senior Manager. Sarah is passionate about childcare, especially what the children get out of their time at nursery. Mostly though, she just loves spending time with the children.
