Brightsparks Day Nursery, Old Coulsdon

We are very pleased with Brightsparks nursery, Old Coulsdon. The staff is very responsive, attentive and caring throughout. The nursery communications are clear and keep parents updated all the time. Our son is very happy to go there. Every day they vary activities, he comes back with a little artwork. The meals offered during the day are varied and healthy choices. If I could improve something that would be the outdoor space and include a sheltered area for buggies outside for quick drop off/pick up.

Additionally, the open, proactive communication with parents has been a standout feature-keeping us informed and involved in our child's progress and the nursery's exciting initiatives. It's clear that this nursery truly cares about every child's growth and wellbeing.

We are so pleased with Bright Sparks, the staff are brilliant and our baby beams when she sees one of them, clearly happy to see them. It's a real family feel and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend for any child. Thank you Bright Sparks!

Amazing nursery. Both of my children have attended here and have received great quality of care. The way their learning and skills have progressed is amazing and it is all thanks to the staff here. They are kind and considerate. The manager is approachable and fast-reactive to all queries and questions. Highly recommend.

Both my children have attended here between the years 2019 - 2025 and I have never encountered any issue or problem. The manager is amazing and the staff are all so friendly and kind. It is going to be very sad in September when my youngest leaves for school. Would highly recommend them.

We are delighted with Brightsparks Coulsdon - the staff are kind, friendly and attentive, and our son has developed a great bond with them. The activities are wide and varied, and the app is always kept up to date so we can see what he has been doing during the day. Our son always comes home with a smile on his face, and we had no hesitation in signing up our second child to go here too.

Our kid is happy here. We really love this nursery and feel better than our previous ones. Staff are really good and helpful. Management is really good, keeps us posted of everything. We would definitely recommend this nursery.

We really love it here - we've always felt welcomed and informed as parents, safe in the knowledge that our kids are nurtured and looked after every day. The smiles on their faces at the end of the day are a great testament to that! The manager is brilliant at email communications and explaining updates - something that I know other nurseries fall down on, so we're very grateful for this. The room staff are just fantastic, we've warmed to them like friends and our kids adore them. Another big tick for us is how up to date the app is during the day, with photos and info about mealtimes etc. We are so grateful for all the team's hard work and will miss them hugely when our oldest moves on to school!

Incredibly friendly and caring atmosphere provided by all the amazing staff! My son goes two days a week and has developed a great bond with his key workers. He does require additional support and this is always available, with staff consistently willing to go above and beyond. Thank you for all the ongoing support - it is much appreciated!

Would highly recommend this nursery. My daughter loves attending and has lots of fun. The staff and manager are always helpful and keep us up to date with everything happening, which is great. The daily journal is great to see pictures and comments also throughout the day.

Bright Sparks, Old Coulsdon, have been amazing with our eldest daughter, who has some medical and developmental needs. They have gone out of their way to make sure everything was set up for her and continue to give her amazing care. She is thriving there, they do so many different activities, have a nice outdoor space and the rooms are always kept well organised and clean. The menu variety they are offered is also amazing. My youngest daughter has also just started and is already enjoying all the toys and activities available.

My daughter attends Brightsparks in Old Coulsdon three days a week and she absolutely loves going. She goes in willingly and always comes out smiling with some form of creation to show the fun she has had. The staff are so friendly and I feel so secure knowing my daughter is well looked after. My son attended when he was younger so it was an obvious choice to send my second child. Thank you Brightsparks - you do a great job. The online journals work well too.

I really feel at Brightsparks that the team understands and the nature of my son as an individual. They are very friendly and happy to answer any questions we have and I always feel comfortable leaving him for the day knowing he is not just being cared for but engaging in fun activities.

My son attended another childcare setting that was pretty good, but since arriving at Brightsparks I have seen him excel further socially and academically. When I ask who his favourite teacher is, he responds with all of them. The teachers always have time to converse with you, morning or evening to ensure the welfare of your child is at the forefront. I wish I had found this nursery sooner. Keep up the good work team.

We could not be happier with Brightsparks Day Nursery, Old Coulsdon. Our son loves his nursery days and settled in very quickly. The staff are all so lovely and helpful. Our son looks forward to his nursery days and always comes out beaming and happy. We couldn’t have made a better choice.

After a very poor experience with another nursery in my area, I was nervous about sending my daughter to another nursery setting. After two separate recommendations for Brightsparks Day Nursery, Old Coulsdon, we decided to give it a try and we could not be happier! They develop such a connection to the children and everything they do is with such thought and care for the children and parents. From the daily parent app updates, to the friendly faces we are greeted with every day from the staff. My daughter just recently started but has settled in so quickly. Thank you to all the wonderful staff who do an excellent job in such trying times.

Our daughter has enjoyed a fun and safe environment at the nursery, experiencing all of the rooms. She has been well cared for and the staff have always been supportive of day requests we have made about her physical needs, such as naps, feeding and toilet hygiene. Communication has been very good, with helpful weekly planning and very good individual responses when needed. A lovely nursery.
