Bright Horizons Twickenham Meadway Day Nursery and Preschool (formerly Asquith) is found in the grounds of Trafalgar Infant School and each room has the latest educational age appropriate activities with expertly crafted furniture and wooden toys made by Community Playthings.

The Nursery has a great garden which includes a role play, cycle track, sand pit, shade sail, outdoor classroom, nature exploration garden and much more.

The nursery is attached to the reception part of the school, which really helps with the transition to ‘big school’ for the preschoolers. The nursery children also have use of the school field, which makes going outdoors more exciting.

Rooms are filled with learning activities and the latest ICT resources are used to develop learning. Lunch/tea is usually a fun part of the day for the children. Food is delivered daily and children are encouraged to independently place meals on plates and eat in groups.

W are very happy with Twickenham Meadway Nursery, the staff are very friendly and our child had a very smooth settling-in period. She is learning a lot there and we can clearly see the difference in her development ever since she started going there.

Our daughter has been attending Bright Horizons Twickenham Day Nursery since she was 15 months old and she will be leaving in the summer to start school. My husband and I are both very pleased with the care from the staff she receives. I am impressed with the activities (water/sand play, building blocks,
crafting/painting, observation of eggs hatching...) and topics (different holidays, planets, health and safety, recycling, phonics, measuring ..) that are prepared for the children. I love the stimuli she receives as I feel it opens her mind and starts playfully preparing her for school starting in the fall (I love you 20 kilometres long #measuring). We both look forward to seeing what she did in the day, which we can follow on the parent platform.

This is one of the best nurseries and pre-schools in the area, the staff are welcoming and provide great care to all the children. They keep you updated on your child’s via their app. I would recommend to all prospective parents.

We couldn’t be more thrilled with this nursery and every member of staff who works there. Our son is looked after to the best standard every time he attends and he’s so happy to be there. We’ve noticed such a difference in his development and he’s constantly learning new words and skills. They do a
wonderful variety of activities for the children and the outside area is incredible for daily fresh air and outdoor play. I tell all my friends and family about the amazing app - we get daily updates and lovely photos and the comfort of knowing how he’s getting on during the day, is invaluable. We couldn’t rate the nursery or recommend it highly enough.

Our son wakes in the morning full of excitement at what activities there might be in preschool. He absolutely loves the mornings he spends there as there is such a vast amount of play available to him. He has always loved being outdoors and is so lucky to have such a large outdoor space available to
him, with activities he shows interest in. The staff are all nurturing and supportive. Communication has always been excellent.

Where to begin? The nursery is excellent! Our son started after he was two years old for a couple of mornings a week. He joined the 'baby' class and was cared for by his key worker. What a lovely lady, he learned to walk and talk with her help and he talks of her fondly.
Now, having been through a
few different age groups our son is in the preschool class. He attends Monday to Friday. He is confident, sensitive to others and he loves learning. His current teacher/leader is energy itself and a true inspiration. She is exactly what our son needs and I thoroughly trust and enjoy our daily debrief.
I would recommend this nursery, the location and facilities are excellent. The staff are caring and highly trained. Our son has gone from strength to strength and has loved his time at the nursery. And this is from a dad who used to sit on the grass outside the nursery with a son who cried and refused to let go and go inside (a member of staff came out and rescued us). Thank you.

A nursery I feel should be chosen because of the people that will be working with your child and that is exactly why we selected bright horizons Twickenham meadway, the staff are so genuine, caring, just lovely people, it’s a bonus that the facilities, including amazing garden, great choices of food
and activities are all fantastic too! Our son is so happy there, had made wonderful connections with the staff and fantastic friends also! They are flexible, have time to talk about his day at pick up, and always friendly! Thoroughly recommend them!

My son has been attending Meadway Under 2's for a few months now and absolutely loves it. They were really understanding about settling him in slowly as he hadn't been around many people with lockdown, but he settled very quickly and now goes straight up to the staff to hold their hands to go into
for the day, and always comes out smiling having had a lovely time. I can't help but peek through the window every time and he's always busy with some activity. I've noticed him to be much more confident around others too.

We have had 2 children go through the Twickenham Bright Horizons from baby room to preschool. We have found the care to be excellent and our children have been extremely happy there. I am thrilled and delighted with my son settling in so well at preschool. The staff excel in pride with professional, friendliness and loving care. I was very apprehensive about putting my daughter into nursery for the first time, but the office manager and team were absolutely brilliant at Bright Horizons Twickenham Meadway Day Nursery and Preschool. Luckily before Covid struck, I managed to view the nursery. I was super impressed by the rooms,
the team and equipment available for the children. Since joining, my daughter has come on leaps and bounds! She has surprised us all with her progress and we are so proud of her! We appreciate all the support the nursery manager and her team have given our daughter over the past few months to help settle her in. We are so gutted to be leaving, however as a family we are relocating! We will definitely try and find another Bright Horizons nursery for our little one to join. Thank you again!

My child is always looking to attend nursery, happy and feeling confident. Since she started she has improved a lot in her speaking, sociability and learning skills. She is encouraged to be as independent as she can. Staff is very friendly, capable, and looking after not only the child but also the
family altogether. They're always reachable, you always get to know who your child's teachers are and interact with them daily. I feel they respect my child's timings when related to education, socialising and learning not pushing her at all.

I have always found Asquith Preschool room to be inviting, caring and attentive. Time is taken to greet and invite my child at drop off. I was very anxious about putting my child into nursery for the first time. The staff did absolutely everything to make me and most importantly, my child, feel comfortable. In the time that my child has been at nursery, her development has been outstanding and we really couldn't ask for more. We went
from three full days a week to five full days as she absolutely loves it and benefits so much from the social aspect to learning and development. A huge thank you to all the staff for their hard work.
