Bright Horizons Bromley Day Nursery and Preschool

Bright Horizons, Bromley, have been so supportive in the process of settling our son in the nursery. The staff are very communicative and truly understand my child's needs at this stage of his development. The facilities are fantastic and I feel very comfortable putting our son in their dedicated care. They have made the transition to nursery so much easier for baby and parents!

Amazing teachers, managers and supporting staff. Working hard to provide exceptional service during difficult times. My son enjoys the nursery very much and always comes home with new knowledge, experience or just happy memories from the day.

Both our daughters are cared for at Bright Horizons Bromley. One at the nursery and one at the preschool. Our experiences have been very good. We are impressed by the personalised care, the learning journal and the fact that our girls eat well at the nursery. We're very happy with the personal carers, who are very much in sync with what our children need. The method of stimulating learning through play, which includes counting, simple maths and learning the alphabet and the beginnings of reading, appeals to us. Finally, we have noticed how our eldest has grown, much more confident in a very short space of time, thanks to, Bright Horizons Bromley.

My daughter has been attending since May and I am really happy with how she's developing at the nursery, she is happy to go in every day and the staff were so brilliant in transitioning her from another nursery in Greenwich that she went to previously. We really feel she is cared for and looked after so well, sometimes asks to go back to nursery when we pick her up! Which is a statement to the staff and how fun they must make it for her. The meals are varied and the opening hours are great as we can drop her off quite early. The management communication is super fast and helpful and the new electronic system of photo updates and details of what they've eaten and toilet visits is really great. I will be sending my newborn there too when she is 11 months and have no concerns at all.

I’ve now had two children go through Bromley Day Nursery (the youngest one still there). It hasn’t always been perfect, but where is? What I can say is that the staff at the nursery are fantastic. They aren’t just doing their job, but really get to know and care for your children. Covid hasn’t made anything easier, but they really have always made me feel as a parent that the health and wellbeing of the children is paramount. They have great facilities and do well to keep parents informed of your child’s learning and development - working with you on anything else you are working on with them at home. For me the main drawback is the fact there isn’t an electronic communication system in place (like Tapestry) where you can get almost real-time updates and can upload information to the teachers. Using a piece of paper seems somewhat archaic (and bad for the environment). That said, my kids have both been extremely happy there and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

At the age of 14 months, we discovered that he was profoundly deaf and was fitted with cochlear implants just before his second birthday. Throughout this entire time, the nursery staff have worked with us and his Teacher for the Deaf to ensure that he was given the best opportunities to communicate through BSL sign language and later when he had access to sound that he could work on his verbal skills. We will always be grateful for all the extra time and effort put in by the nursery staff.

Fantastic early years education provider. The nursery has played a significant role for both our children. In addition to this, the nursery has gone the extra mile for our child with additional support needs. The staff are friendly and highly skilled. Highly recommended.

Please note below I have selected good for facilities/outdoor/resources, etc. but this is based on previous experience as I have not seen the facilities for over a year.

Our youngest son has been coming to Bright Horizons Bromley Day Nursery and Preschool for the past one and a half years, following on from his older brother's stint here four years ago. We have been very impressed by how well looked after and loved our son's have been treated. The staff all have the child's best interests at heart and link in their learning and activities based on the child's interests. Our son always comes away really happy after his days at nursery and his speech and development have come on massively since he has been at the nursery. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of putting their child into this nursery.

My daughter started at Bright Horizons at just over nine-months-old. After a very well planned out settling in period, which centred around my daughter's needs, especially in the middle of the pandemic, my daughter was soon very excited to go into nursery. Now at sixteen-months-old, she attends four days a week and barely turns around to say goodbye. She has developed far beyond what I could have even imagined at such a young age and I put it down to the energy and input of her carers. I am so glad that we chose Bright Horizons for our daughter, it was the easiest and best decision we made.

The most amazing nursery with professional, nurturing and fun-loving staff! Our daughter has been attending Bright Horizons nursery for the past 6 months and has developed the most beautiful bond with her key-worker and is enjoying every moment. Every day, I watch her skip into nursery and welcome her home with new words, experiences and many smiles! The staff are outstanding, nothing is too much trouble as they go above and beyond to make sure that my daughter has an amazing learning experience and that we are kept up to date and involved. Our key-worker makes every effort to mirror our home learning and build upon existing learnings, we have seen so much progress in a short space of time. They also go out of their way to make seasonal events memorable with keepsakes for Christmas and Valentine’s Day - something that is so meaningful as a parent. I am thoroughly happy with our choice of nursery, I’d recommend Bright Horizons to anyone in the area.

My daughter has been with the nursery for over two years now. Staff are fantastic and caring and we have always felt so supported every step of the way, from helping her to settle down, to transitions between rooms and being proactive in supporting her special needs. She is now in the preschool room and absolutely loves being there. It's so lovely to see her being so happy and confident and telling me about what she has done during the day. The nursery has good facilities which include great activities, spacious rooms and a lovely garden. There is a lovely chef who makes healthy varied foods. I would like to say a huge thank you to the management team and staff for all their hard work and support.

The staff at Bromley day nursery are superb. My daughter has loved going there since the age of 9 months old. They are always so personable and I feel all the staff have a real connection and express a real care and love for my daughter. When she attends, I know they're in the most cable of hands and she always leaves a very happy girl.

My son has been with the nursery for last 2-years. He had some speech delay in the beginning. I started the nursery when he is 2-years-old, he knows only 5 to 10 words, but after he went to the nursery, he started talking a lot, got attached to his teachers and friends and he is so much happy to go to school every day.

The positive approach in dealing with anything that happens is very encouraging for my son to do better. I am very happy with the overall standard of the nursery. THANK YOU for everything you do for the children, it's much appreciated.

Our daughter has been a Bright Horizons for nearly 2 years, and has loved her experience there. Now in the pre-school room we are seeing her learning new skills and continue to develop and grow. The staff have been very supportive and clearly take the team to work with each child and devise creative ways of engaging with them.

One great asset of the nursery is the big garden which they use daily. I personally feel this is really important and love the fact she is able to run outside every day. Another strength is the varied and healthy food they cook, I know my daughter is fed very well each day which is such a key thing. These things, along with being really friendly, help make the nursery a lovely place for my daughter go to each day. I would not hesitate in recommending this nursery to others.

My son has recently started attending for the past few weeks since I have returned to work. He has settled well into the nursery. I have seen a big change in his communication and he is much happier. The nursery staff are fantastic with him to me they are an extended family. He eats well with a variety of different foods, he plays and takes let in different activities. He has really come out of his shell since being at the nursery and is picking up new skills and experiences since he has been at the nursery. The staff are brilliant not only for the way care for him, providing regular updates each day. It’s very reassuring for me since I returned to work. Every day is different for him and he takes part in different activities which help his learning. Fantastic facilities and care I would highly recommend.
