My son has been going to Bright Horizons Bromley since it reopened in September 2023. The setting is the perfect place for my boy, it’s spacious, clean, inviting and stimulating. The staff team are very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming, they have gone the extra mile to ensure my child settled in
with the home-from-home care they provide. When I collect him, the staff can’t wait to tell me all of the amazing things he has been up to, when I receive pictures of him on a daily basis, I know he’s happy and well cared for. I am always greeted with a smile and when I see my son run into his class, it fills me with confidence this nursery is the right one. He learns something new every day and is growing in confidence. The staff at Bromley have been amazing, the chef cooks outstanding food and the outdoor play area is perfect for my little boy. The management team are efficient and supportive.

Overall the experience has been really good! Our son has settled in really well with the help from the team and the process of everything has just been so amazing.
Everyone at the nursery is really focused on making sure all the children are their first priority and are really good with communicating
with the parents in relation to what they have done for the day etc. as well as their progress and development.

Highly recommend Bromley Bright Horizons. The nursery has just been renovated to a high standard and you can tell. All new, well-kept furniture and toys. The staff are friendly and always have a smile on their face. Management is always helpful. Huge space for the kids to play outdoors with a different
range of equipment. Lots of space indoors too. Updates via the app all day and always doing something new and fun. Great menu choices too. My daughter has additional needs and the SEN coordinator in the preschool room is wonderful. She has given her a learning plan that is spot on to her needs and makes sure she is included in all activities. Also working with all outside professionals ensures she has the best care.

Bright Horizons Bromley is a beautiful setting with a great garden full of activities. My son loves the open space so the large garden is great for him.
We are always provided with in-person updates and the app is always updated so you can check in throughout the day. It's great to see pictures showing
their learning progress and the fun they are having throughout the day.
An on-site chef provides nutritious meals and engages the children in cooking activities.
The staff are caring and kind and key workers build genuine relationships with children which is always reassuring.
Highly recommend!

Fantastic staff and all very friendly. Making our daughter feel so comfortable and understand it is a huge step for her. The facilities are excellent and the environment in the preschool room is warm, and inviting and inspires learning through engaging activities. The genuine affection staff have for the children is palpable, and the special educational needs support available for my child is so valuable. The Special
Needs Education support provided in support of our Education, Health and Care plan application has been robust and reliable, and staff are actively helping my child by seeking ways to help them meet their learning targets. Verbal updates and effective use of the app gives me a meaningful insight into the activities my child participated in, and a reliable understanding of their progress. My child runs from the car to the front door every morning and waits excitedly to be let in, and is happy to leave at the end of the long day knowing she will be back again the next morning. I chose this nursery because of the staff, and the staff are what makes this a great setting.

The nursery has just been completely refurbished and has excellent facilities and is always immaculately clean. My son loves it and the team are very caring and work really hard to maximise his development and social skills. The on-site chef also prepares lovely food. I am planning to send my youngest
son here when he hits 10 months and have no doubt it's the right place for him too.

Bright Horizons, Bromley, have been so supportive in the process of settling our son in the nursery. The staff are very communicative and truly understand my child's needs at this stage of his development. The facilities are fantastic and I feel very comfortable putting our son in their dedicated care.

Both our daughters are cared for at Bright Horizons Bromley. One at the nursery and one at the preschool. Our experiences have been very good. We are impressed by the personalised care, the learning journal and the fact that our girls eat well at the nursery. We're very happy with the personal carers,
who are very much in sync with what our children need. The method of stimulating learning through play, which includes counting, simple maths and learning the alphabet and the beginnings of reading, appeals to us. Finally, we have noticed how our eldest has grown, much more confident in a very short space of time, thanks to, Bright Horizons Bromley.

My daughter has been attending since May and I am really happy with how she's developing at the nursery, she is happy to go in every day and the staff were so brilliant in transitioning her from another nursery in Greenwich that she went to previously. We really feel she is cared for and looked after
so well, sometimes asks to go back to nursery when we pick her up! Which is a statement to the staff and how fun they must make it for her. The meals are varied and the opening hours are great as we can drop her off quite early. The management communication is super fast and helpful and the new electronic system of photo updates and details of what they've eaten and toilet visits is really great. I will be sending my newborn there too when she is 11 months and have no concerns at all.

I’ve now had two children go through Bromley Day Nursery (the youngest one still there). It hasn’t always been perfect, but where is? What I can say is that the staff at the nursery are fantastic. They aren’t just doing their job, but really get to know and care for your children. Covid hasn’t made
anything easier, but they really have always made me feel as a parent that the health and wellbeing of the children is paramount. They have great facilities and do well to keep parents informed of your child’s learning and development - working with you on anything else you are working on with them at home. For me the main drawback is the fact there isn’t an electronic communication system in place (like Tapestry) where you can get almost real-time updates and can upload information to the teachers. Using a piece of paper seems somewhat archaic (and bad for the environment). That said, my kids have both been extremely happy there and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

Our youngest son attended Bromley Day Nursery from the age of 10 months to 26 months and only left because we moved away from the area. He has always enjoyed going to nursery and developed strong bonds with the staff very quickly. We have always felt happy and comfortable leaving him at nursery.
At
the age of 14 months, we discovered that he was profoundly deaf and was fitted with cochlear implants just before his second birthday. Throughout this entire time, the nursery staff have worked with us and his Teacher for the Deaf to ensure that he was given the best opportunities to communicate through BSL sign language and later when he had access to sound that he could work on his verbal skills. We will always be grateful for all the extra time and effort put in by the nursery staff.

Since management changes the nursery has been more unsettled than in previous years. My older child left in September for school after having around five key workers in his last year. My youngest thankfully has settled well in the little explorer's room as staff seem to be more consistent.
The nursery
continues to be a lot more expensive than others in the Bromley area, it’s unclear why.
Please note below I have selected good for facilities/outdoor/resources, etc. but this is based on previous experience as I have not seen the facilities for over a year.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Hi there, I'm Nikki, the Nursery Manager at Bright Horizons, and I couldn't be happier to be part of this wonderful team! I'm proud to say that I have a CACHE level 3 in childcare and a Level 5 in leadership and management, which helps me excel in my role.


Additionally, I hold a managing safety certificate from IOSH, which further enhances my expertise in this field.


My journey in childcare started back in 2007 when I joined Bright Horizons as a nursery assistant. It's been an incredible journey of growth and learning, and I'm grateful for every opportunity that has led me to where I am today. In 2016, I reached the position of nursery manager, and it's a role that truly brings me joy.


One of the things that really drives me is my passion for coaching and supporting my staff. I believe in providing the best care and nurturing environments for the children we serve, so they can thrive and reach their full potential. Collaborating with parents is something I strongly believe in, as it ensures a consistent and harmonious approach to the children's learning experiences.


Seeing the children in our care grow and develop is a source of immense happiness for me. From their earliest days as adorable babies to blossoming into little individuals with unique personalities, it's incredibly fulfilling to be part of their journey.


I'm thrilled to be part of the Bright Horizons Bromley family, and I can't wait for the grand reopening in September 2023 under my leadership. Together, we'll create a nurturing and inspiring environment where children can flourish and families feel supported and valued.

Hi, I'm Natasha, the Nursery Manager.


I have worked in childcare for over 10 years, I hold an NVQ level 3 in childcare as well as a level 3 diploma in management. I started my career as a student and worked my way up the ladder. A core part of my experience has been in pre-school, since then I gained more experience in a management role.


I have a great passion for early years and love being part of a nursery team to support staff and provide an excellent environment for all children.


Since becoming a parent, myself in 2022 now more than ever my job role enables me to see how valuable early years settings are for all children.


I strive for excellence in all I do, and ensuring I create a positive partnership with parents is essential in my role.
