The staff at Bromley Day Nursery encouraged our son to be independent and confident, through their dedication and kindness. This was a constant theme throughout his 3 and half years and extended from key workers to management. Everyone cared about his progress and happiness – he flourished because of
the way they looked after him, and that really mattered to us, and to him. The staff really helped him to get ready for the transition to ‘big boy school’ which will really make a difference come the beginning of September. He, and we, leave with the most precious memories, having had so much fun and learnt so much. Simply wonderful.

I am so pleased with the nursery and everything they do to encourage my son's learning. All of the staff are very friendly and genuinely care about my son and his development. Any issues that we have had have always been dealt with in a professional manner with a swift resolution. The facilities are
very good and my son has thoroughly enjoyed the new addition of real tools. To turn up at the nursery after a long day at work all I see is a big smile on my sons face and that is what we get every day at Bromley Day Nursery. Thank You!

Bromley Nursery has been helpful and welcoming in every aspect. I feel well informed and particularly enjoy the parents evening where the hard work of the staff is truly evident. The facilities are great as well as food provided. The variety of what my son is exposed to and assessed on is vast and I'm
very happy with this nursery.

The pre-school room has always provided consistently good pastoral care but recently I have witnessed improvements to the educational offering. There seems to be a strong leadership team introducing innovative new displays and ways of embedding numeracy and literacy. This has enabled my daughter a richer
offering in learning across science, literacy, numeracy and social development. My daughter has made great strides, looks forward to nursery and formed strong bonds with key workers.

Excellent experience. Staff/carers are helpful, caring and build good relationships and support with the parents. They are good at keeping us appraised of developments and most importantly my daughter loves attending and enjoys talking about her days at nursery.

We have been very happy with the nursery provision at Asquith. Both our children have settled in well, assisted by the staff, and have enjoyed their days at nursery. Staff have been keen to assist them with their learning and have taken a personal interest in their well-being. We are kept up to date
with the goings-on in the nursery. The food also is good.

Both of my children have attended Bromley Day Nursery from the age of 10 months. I've been so pleased with how they were settled in from the start right through to the preschool room and preparation for school. My children have been extremely happy. I have always felt confident that they were receiving
great care and also being educated at the same time. The staff are always caring and friendly and I have been very impressed with the management team.

Asquith Bromley Day Nursery has been a second home to my son. When we moved to London over a year ago, my son had undergone a few months of ups and downs with changes. He was refusing to attend the previous nursery we initially were able to secure for him. We were very happy that a space had opened
up in Bromley Day Nursery and they were able to accommodate our son in a few weeks time. Ever since he's joined Bromley Day Nursery, we've noticed significant improvement in his behaviour and he was back to his old cheerful disposition. He's always happy and enthusiastic to go to the nursery.

We've been telling our friends and people we meet how brilliant Bromley Day Nursery is and it's definitely helped my son with his development. We felt at ease that he is well taken care of. We feel sad as our son moves out of the nursery to start in big school. Our son will surely be missing all the staff and his friends. It would have been a delight if Bromley Day Nursery had Breakfast and After school club.

From day one management team have been extremely supportive and helpful in planning and preparing both my children (and myself!) for starting nursery. Every effort has been made to support my children's needs and accommodate work/home balance as a parent. I have found the staff to be positive and make
time for filling me in with my children's progress. I feel my children have grown happily and safely in this lively nursery. The learning opportunities are excellent and my children have been challenged in exciting new ways. Most of all my children are happy here and I would highly recommend this nursery to others. The manager is excellent.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.920)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.920) out of 10 for Bright Horizons Bromley Day Nursery and Preschool is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 25 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 25 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.920 for Bright Horizons Bromley Day Nursery and Preschool is calculated as follows: ( (277 Excellents x 5) + (22 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 300 Ratings = 4.92
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Bright Horizons Bromley Day Nursery and Preschool is based on 25 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 115 number of registered child places is 23, which has been reached with 25 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Hi there, I'm Nikki, the Nursery Manager at Bright Horizons, and I couldn't be happier to be part of this wonderful team! I'm proud to say that I have a CACHE level 3 in childcare and a Level 5 in leadership and management, which helps me excel in my role.

Additionally, I hold a managing safety certificate from IOSH, which further enhances my expertise in this field.

My journey in childcare started back in 2007 when I joined Bright Horizons as a nursery assistant. It's been an incredible journey of growth and learning, and I'm grateful for every opportunity that has led me to where I am today. In 2016, I reached the position of nursery manager, and it's a role that truly brings me joy.

One of the things that really drives me is my passion for coaching and supporting my staff. I believe in providing the best care and nurturing environments for the children we serve, so they can thrive and reach their full potential. Collaborating with parents is something I strongly believe in, as it ensures a consistent and harmonious approach to the children's learning experiences.

Seeing the children in our care grow and develop is a source of immense happiness for me. From their earliest days as adorable babies to blossoming into little individuals with unique personalities, it's incredibly fulfilling to be part of their journey.

I'm thrilled to be part of the Bright Horizons Bromley family, and I can't wait for the grand reopening in September 2023 under my leadership. Together, we'll create a nurturing and inspiring environment where children can flourish and families feel supported and valued.

Since becoming a parent, myself in 2022 now more than ever my job role enables me to see how valuable early years settings are for all children.
