Bright Horizons Hendon Day Nursery and Preschool

Our daughter has been at the Hendon branch since March 2021. Nursery is her happy place, she loves the staff and the staff love her! We feel very blessed to have a safe place where our daughter can thrive, have fun and learn new skills. The nursery feels like a family.

The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. They adapt to the specific needs of the children and make the day-to-day experience of the children enjoyable. I also love that I can see what my child is up to all the time, via very detailed notes provided on the app.

My daughter has been at Hendon Day Nursery for nearly two years and we could not have made a better decision to send her there. The love and attention she gets from the staff is beyond anything we could have expected. They have taken time to get to know her and we can see from the way she runs in every day, how much she enjoys it. Every day she learns something new and her vocabulary is incredible for a nearly 3-year-old. We honestly couldn’t ask for a better team of people to look after our child. We will no doubt be sending our next one too!

My daughter has been going here for 2 years. I know she is so cared for and in good hands at the nursery. She is so happy there and always comes home saying her teacher's names which are absolutely amazing. They are always answering no matter how busy, always keen to help and give updates.

We have also noticed a tremendous growth in his personality, etiquette and manners which shows that he not only has fun but is also learning a lot in the nursery. My wife and I are very happy and glad that our son is going to this nursery.

During Covid, they have been amazing trying to keep the children's routine as it used to be. We felt very secure sending our daughter to nursery and our best reward is the smile on our daughter's face when we tell her we are going to nursery!

During the pandemic, we kept receiving phone calls to see how the kids were and how I was doing which was lovely!

Our son absolutely loves nursery and it is clear how much the staff there adore all the children and love their jobs. We are so happy with the love and attention he gets there. It is the first pre-school setting that he has attended and he settled in so nicely from 11 months thanks to all the amazing staff. We would highly recommend this preschool to our friends and family and cannot thank them enough for all the hard work they do!

I have had two children come through this nursery and the staff and management have been nothing but kind and loving to my children. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone looking for childcare. They are passionate about children’s learning and the staff are always welcoming!

Fantastic nursery, very lovely, bubbly, reliable and friendly management, they always have a smile on them. Very helpful too and so kind always welcoming parents and children and they have such a great and lovely team in the toddler room. My son is very happy at the setting when I pick him up and always getting positive feedback.

Lovely staff, amazing infrastructure, our daughter has been there since she was six months old. Two and a half years later she still absolutely loves attending the nursery every day. They do a lot of fun and didactic activities and you receive daily a summary of what your child did during the day. During such unprecedented times, Hendon Day Nursery has remained a constant source of education, care and love for my child and no doubt every single child in the nursery. No matter who greets her in the morning, every single member of staff comes to the door with a smile on their face and shows genuine interest and compassion. From head office to the superb catering team, professionalism and compassion are exuded at all times. We have never been more sure that our precious baby is being looked after and cared for with the same love a person shows to their own family. I cannot recommend Hendon Day Nursery enough! This nursery is a great place to send your children. I can only write about my good experience with them. Firstly both my children (older was from 2017 to 2020, younger started in June 2020 at 9 months old and is still there) really liked and enjoy the place. I see them happy and ascending very quickly. Secondly, the staff is very friendly, efficient and approachable whenever you need to talk to them. The above two reasons are my main factors for the choice of nursery. Additionally, they have a clear policy on baby care and safety. The place itself is really clean and well equipped (a nice area to play outside and spacious rooms for children), there are a lot of different activities. Both of my children never have any issues with food, eating (younger one is allergic and is on a special diet, which is followed at nursery) everything that was served. Overall I recommend the place.

Our daughter has been attending Hendon since she was 14 months old and is now 4 years old. She loves being there and is always so happy and can't wait to go in the next day. The team are wonderful and I know she is always in the safest of hands and I can’t recommend them enough. She has learnt so much as there are so many different learning opportunities. One benefit is that they have taught her how to be independent and well mannered. We had no hesitation to enrol our second daughter who was 18 months last month.

The place always clean and lots of activities for any age.

Overall the nursery creates a home from home atmosphere where the children are able to talk openly and be themselves. As parents, we have always been made to feel welcome and that the staff all genuinely care for the children in their charge. A very unique and special place.

Loved the care that my son received from the key workers of the nursery. There were so many developments in him.

My daughter has been attending Hendon Pre-School & Day Nursery since she was a baby and is now thriving in the nursery class. She runs in every day and has formed wonderful attachments to the staff in the room. She sings lots of songs and rhymes and tells me daily what she has done and who she has played with. I can't thank the staff enough for the love and attention they show my daughter on a daily basis.

My son started in the baby room in April 2018 at 13 months and he couldn't be happier. As soon as he sees his pram in the morning, he climbs straight in and is ready to go to nursery. The nursery has a great outdoor space which my son loves and has a good selection of equipment. The staff are wonderful and do an amazing job, I couldn't thank them enough for the good care they take of my son. I highly recommend the nursery.
