Bright Horizons Surbiton Day Nursery and Preschool is located in Surbiton, Surrey, in the UK. The nursery provides care for children aged from 3 months to 5 years old, and is open from 7:00am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday. Located just a 10-minute walk from Surbiton rail station and with ample parking, the nursery is ideal for parents who commute each day.

The nursery offers a range of programs, including baby and toddler care, preschool education, and after-school care. The facility has a dedicated baby room, toddler room, and preschool room, as well as a large outdoor play area for children to explore.

The nursery is set in a spacious, converted Victorian detached house in the residential area of Surbiton, within the catchment of schools in Surbiton and Tolworth areas. The stunning rooms are full of age-specific, specialist wooden furniture and resources. The staff are friendly, experienced and highly qualified and are on hand to conduct a personal nursery tour at a time to suit you.

Bright Horizons uses a EYFS framework to promote and support education, care and development. The nursery is well equipped with a touch screen computer in their pre-school room, which helps children to prepare for school using their chosen literacy and numeracy programs. They run growing enhancement programs as part of their nursery day which includes growing readers, writers and mathematicians.

The nursery's adventure garden has its own Hobbit House, stage area, nature garden and wobbly road track all set within separate age-appropriate areas, with a separate garden for babies and toddlers.

My son has attended Asquith Surbiton Day Nursery for 2.5 years and absolutely loves it. At each stage from baby room to pre-school, he has thrived due to the care and attention he has received. The Nursery staff are all friendly and helpful and the management team are approachable and always available
for a chat. The recent leadership change has I feel improved the nursery even more with new initiates such as Forest School and a lending library being introduced. Lastly, the environment is always clean and tidy and the amazing garden space is a brilliant area for the children to both learn and let
Off some steam. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking at childcare options.

Both of my children are at the nursery.
They do so many activities, in the nursery and out, from going to Forrest school the theatre, trips to the park to see the ducks and the local library.
They have had the opportunity to meet the police, their dogs even a police horse visited them! Ambulance staff,
dentist, they have so much to tell me about when they come home!


Both our girls love going in in the mornings and they adore their workers, who give them lots of love and cuddles. Even though they have a group of children to look after have very special relationships with them.


They eat better at nursery than they do at home! With the daily freshly prepared meals and sleep well at nap time.


When there is a query about something, the team are very approachable and professional in their responses.


I have been so impressed and happy with the experience, and have recommended to our friends who are pregnant.
Keep up the good work and thank you so much for looking after our girls so well!

My daughter has been very happy at Surbiton Day nursery and we have been extremely impressed by the whole set-up. The enthusiastic staff create a caring, nurturing and happy environment for the children and tailor activities to focus on each individual child's interests and development needs.
There
is a real focus on learning through play and I have been very impressed with the way the pre-school team are preparing the children in advance of their transition to school in September.
The garden is amazing and the children get lots of outdoor play time in all seasons.
There are plenty of opportunities for the children to enjoy experiences outside of the nursery setting - my daughter loves her weekly visits to Forest school and regular trips to the Rose Theatre.
Overall we have had an extremely positive experience and would highly recommend Surbiton Day Nursery.

We have been delighted with the progress that our children have made at nursery in such a caring environment. They love going thanks to the care and attention that goes into running the nursery, from the Management through to the staff looking after the children on a day-to-day basis. The catering is
excellent due to the fantastic kitchen team, who often work with the children to make food together. We have always been so impressed with the time taken to manage the individual needs of the child, whether it be related to dietary requirements or learning outcomes. All the staff are hugely dedicated and cheerful and create many initiatives which are very popular amongst the children, such as the introduction of the Forest School in the Pre-School Room, or the Committee Board in the Nursery Room. The way in which Pre-School children (and parents!) are being supported with the transition to primary is particularly impressive. It is a great place for our children's early years!

Our family's experience of the Surbiton Nursery has been overwhelmingly positive. My daughter settled well in the baby room and has now progressed through all of the rooms over the years. The staff are knowledgeable and have supported my husband and I through the challenges of first-time parenthood
from sleep training, progressing to her 'big girl bed', potty training and more. But what stands out for me is the genuine care and desire to support the development of the children. Asides from having Mary Poppins on site, I'm not sure I could ask for much more.

Even in winter staff continue to take the children out into the garden as much as possible, often several times in the day. The outdoor equipment is excellent enabling the children to develop imaginative play.

My daughter loves coming to nursery and it makes us as parents feel a little less guilty to leave our children. The staff and management are amazing and they do put our child's needs first. We couldn't have chosen a better nursery for our daughter.

Out little girl has a wonderful time at the nursery. The staff are wonderful and caring. The garden space is great and there are loads of activities.
Food quality is okay and recently improved. The nursery is a bit expensive compared with competition though it operates early start and late pick-up.

Outstanding nursery. Our daughter feels very happy, exciting and engaged with everyone there. The activities are fantastic and every member of staff is friendly, caring and professional. It's been wonderful to see our daughter prosper under the staff at Asquiths. The extra activities such as the Christmas
Fete was a wonderful opportunity to see the nursery at it's best.

Asquith Surbiton has been amazingly supportive and kind while my son has been settling in. He now knows it as a home from home. Everyone is incredibly kind, loving and genuinely interested in ensuring the best for your child. We couldn't ask for a better care system.

Very friendly staff, always supportive, recognising the needs and the stage of development of the child. There is a number of interesting toys which get renewed from time to time and it does not look as if children are ever bored in the nursery. The outdoor space is great as well, with lots of activities
and play areas and what is important - it is very secure.

Our daughter has attended Asquiths in Surbiton since April 2015 and we have nothing but praise and gratitude for the care she has received there, starting in Baby and Toddler room and now in Nursery. I have been most impressed with the attentiveness and genuine care shown to our daughter by staff in
each of the rooms and with the professionalism and proficiency of the overall administration and management. In addition, my daughter had hypermobility and had therefore required additional support which Asquiths were well placed to provide in a knowledgeable manner. We feel our daughter has made brilliant progress as a result of the supportive learning environment Asquiths have fostered but, even more importantly, she loves being there, talks warmly at home about those who care for her there and loves playing and having fun with her friends. Thank you to all at Asquiths Surbiton.

Overall we are delighted with Asquith, Surbiton for our two-year-old boy who has attended since he was one and would definitely recommend. We recently attended the nursery's festive open day which was fantastic and really enjoyed by all - the care, thought and time that the staff put into the day was
reflective of the caring and nurturing environment the nursery provides. The staff, parents and children are always so happy and I truly believe my son receives fantastic educational support and loving care there.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Krissa has worked in childcare for the past 14 years with 7 of them working for Bright Horizons Surbiton. She started off working as a qualified member of the Toddler room and worked her way up to the Management Team.


Krissa is a very passionate worker who enjoys seeing the children's development progress over time. She thrives for outstanding practice within the nursery and has a BH Award for excellent parent partnerships.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Rebecca has 12 years of experience in childcare, with 10 of those years spent at Surbiton Day Nursery. She has worked with children aged from 6 months to 5 years and has thoroughly enjoyed every moment of her journey.


She began her career at Bright Horizons Surbiton Day as a Level 3 practitioner in the Nursery Class and has since progressed to Deputy Manager. In this role, she looks forward to supporting the team and welcoming new children and their families into the nursery.
