Partou Lavender Hill Day Nursery & Pre-school has a well-earned reputation as the leading provider of childcare in Clapham Junction, offering outstanding care to children aged 3 months to 5 years and are open from 7.30am to 6.30pm Monday - Friday, for 51 weeks of the year (closed during Christmas week).

Located next to Asda on Lavender Hill, the team enjoys the benefits of a large purpose-built nursery, refurbished and re-equipped in 2012, with large airy rooms, and a huge outdoor garden and play space, which the children love and thrive in.

There are separate rooms for babies, toddlers, 2-3 year olds, and Pre-School children, furnished with 'age appropriate' toys and resources, ensuring they provide the best standard of care, development and education.

Lavender Hill operates a Key Person policy, ensuring that your child is cared for by a member of staff who gets to know you and your child really well.

Amazing staff at Lavender Hill Day Nursery. They love and care about children as if they were theirs.


I am a mother of three kids (the older is 14 years old) and I have always worked so I have interacted with a lot of carers. It is the first time I have experienced such outstanding levels of care.

Amazing staff at Lavender Hill Nursery. My child's development process has been a success. His speech has developed very quickly since he started attending this nursery. A lovely home away from home for my child.
We will miss this nursery a lot but will drop by to say hello even after my son starts
primary school.

Lavender Hill Day Nursery is the only nursery in the area that opens at 7:30 am which was important to us. The staff at Lavender Hill Day Nursery are very welcoming. They make my daughter feel like they have missed her and are happy to see her. Whenever I have had the opportunity to observe what she
is doing, my daughter is always engaged. The are lots of story time, singing and dancing. The food is varied and the most important thing is that my daughter comes home very happy!

Instantly when we went to look at the nursery we loved how nice it looked.
The staff have been nothing but kind, helpful and caring, especially when my son was finding it hard to settle in the first couple of days.
They have always informed me as to how he has been and if he has eaten which I also
think is kind of the staff as they don't need to do that.
Finally the fact that there are three gates before my son can get out lets me know he's safe and that's before the security doors that need a button to be pressed first.

My child has attended nursery since she was 1 years old so she has grown with the staff and is familiar with them all. Staff turnover is very low. I love the fact the food is fresh and prepared on site. Management are very inviting and friendly.

I have had no problems with my daughter who has taken a while to settle but the staff have been fantastic and have been so kind and welcoming doing their utmost to make me and my daughter feel comfortable, always reassuring me. Now my daughter does not want to leave when I pick her up.

My daughter started at the nursery when she was two. She has always been very happy at Lavender Hill. The staff and management have always been friendly with both me and my daughter. We will really miss the nursery as she is going to school this year. But I would and always will recommend this nursery.

Absolutely love this nursery. My children have learnt so much and even learnt to use the toilet in two weeks. Staff are always happy and polite. I have already told friends to join.

Outstanding!! The nursery has always been so welcoming of myself and my daughter, Staff are always there to welcome the children into the setting. My daughter is always happy to go to the nursery and is always hard getting her out. She never wants to leave but I know she is happy so that makes me happy.
As working in a day nursery previously, I can see that all staff have a strong bond like family which is lovely. If staff are happy, the children are. Keep up the good work guys, you are all doing amazing.

Very welcoming and friendly clean and tidy space. Staff keep all parents up to date so we know what our child is up to and how they are developing academically, socially etc. Great fun space for all the kids which they all enjoy as I've witnessed.

My son has become social and a lot more comfortable around after people and children since starting at nursery.
He can share, play and communicate at a higher level. He is always happy when he arrives and always looks like he has had an enjoyable day.
