Located close to the Old Street Tube station, Co-op Childcare Islington has bright, spacious rooms for each of their age groups. They bring the outdoors inside as they've created a sensory garden area, a beach and an indoor Gruffalo nature walk.

The nursery goes above and beyond for safety which is why ALL its staff are paediatric first-aid trained. They keep parents informed on what their child has been up to all day including observations, assessments, meals, (and even toilet training progress!) using an app called ParentZone.

The team know that little things can make a big difference, so they make sure to give children lots of hands-on experiences through activities such as growing food (and eating it!), and doing their bit for the environment. They will also make regular visits to a local care home and be involved with a global eco-schools programme, making them aware of their environment and local community.

The nursery has improved significantly with new management and addition of administrative staff. My daughter has been attending for almost two years and has really thrived since moving to the 2+ room.


She is learning a lot of new words, they do a great job of keeping the children engaged, and she

genuinely enjoys being there. She also had a great time in the toddler room, but the business of the 2/3-year-old room is really stimulating for her.

My child seems to be very happy to go to the nursery every day, which means he has a good time there! They do a variety of activities every day and they are helped develop their skills, such as speech and walking.

My child loves going to nursery. He is always eager to get in the door and play with all of his friends. I know that he is always in good hands. He is fed well, is learning, and is happy with his caregivers.

My twin boys were at this Nursery until September 2016. I loved it, the staff are amazing and flexible and there is an openness to it there which is lovely. All of the staff are so motivated and love their jobs, they are so welcoming to all children and I often went there early/late to pick my boys
up or drop them off and stayed in the room playing for a while. Unlike some other nurseries, they really cannot do enough for the parents and I honestly miss it here so much. If I ever had any more children (which I doubt ;-)!!) I would 100% also send them here. 10/10 and beyond - thanks Guys for looking after my boys so well!

My child enjoyed time spent at the nursery. She was always happy and enjoyed going back each week. The Staff were friendly and attentive. They offered a lot of support in the settling in process. I would recommend the nursery to other parents.

Open day visit - our town was very thorough with all key stages explained. I was especially impressed with how the childrens learning and development are recorded. Whilst on the visit, children were well engaged with their respective key workers and everything seemed to be very well organised. Very

I am a mother of a 2 year and 11 month old daughter. My daughter has attended the nursery for 2 years and is extremely happy here as so am I with the level of service provided. Nursery teachers, assistants and management have formed not just a professional relationship but a loving, caring and friendly
relationship through the years. All staff go above and beyond to ensure the welfare of my daughter and resolve any concerns l have ever had, whether it be external or internal. All team members work exceptionally hard and always give fair, honest, genuine and truthful feedback and encouragement on a daily basis. for this I am thankful and grateful.

My daughter has been going a while now to the nursery and I have seen a lot of changes. I see she is growing in learning and development since she started over a year now. The staff has been really helpful with my request regarding her health and food. The manager has been awesome with managing the
nursery and attending to all my questions and answers. Managers and all the staff are caring, loving and supportive. I am really happy my daughter came here and really pleased about new changes in January and the rest of the year. Keep up the great work.
