Good = 4. Satisfactory = 3. Poor = 2. Very Poor = 1. These points are added up and then divided by the total number of completed ratings to generate the average rating.

    The Average Rating of 4.292 for The Co-operative Childcare Islington is calculated as follows: ( (34 Excellents x 5) + (58 Goods x 4) + (3 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 96 Ratings = 4.292

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

My child loves going to nursery. He is always eager to get in the door and play with all of his friends. I know that he is always in good hands. He is fed well, is learning, and is happy with his caregivers.

My twin boys were at this Nursery until September 2016. I loved it, the staff are amazing and flexible and there is an openness to it there which is lovely. All of the staff are so motivated and love their jobs, they are so welcoming to all children and I often went there early/late to pick my boys up or drop them off and stayed in the room playing for a while. Unlike some other nurseries, they really cannot do enough for the parents and I honestly miss it here so much. If I ever had any more children (which I doubt ;-)!!) I would 100% also send them here. 10/10 and beyond - thanks Guys for looking after my boys so well!
xXx

Reception and billing always a problem. Chased for money even though we pay by DD. Take a long time to simply get into the nursery in the mornings.

Carer staff are mostly excellent and the quality of care is generally high.

My child enjoyed time spent at the nursery. She was always happy and enjoyed going back each week. The Staff were friendly and attentive. They offered a lot of support in the settling in process. I would recommend the nursery to other parents.

Place looks good. Seems to provide a good assortment of activities to keep the kids entertained. The food preparation and catering for special requirements is really good.

Open day visit - our town was very thorough with all key stages explained. I was especially impressed with how the childrens learning and development are recorded. Whilst on the visit, children were well engaged with their respective key workers and everything seemed to be very well organised. Very impressive.

I am a mother of a 2 year and 11 month old daughter. My daughter has attended the nursery for 2 years and is extremely happy here as so am I with the level of service provided. Nursery teachers, assistants and management have formed not just a professional relationship but a loving, caring and friendly relationship through the years. All staff go above and beyond to ensure the welfare of my daughter and resolve any concerns l have ever had, whether it be external or internal. All team members work exceptionally hard and always give fair, honest, genuine and truthful feedback and encouragement on a daily basis. for this I am thankful and grateful.

My daughter has been going a while now to the nursery and I have seen a lot of changes. I see she is growing in learning and development since she started over a year now. The staff has been really helpful with my request regarding her health and food. The manager has been awesome with managing the nursery and attending to all my questions and answers. Managers and all the staff are caring, loving and supportive. I am really happy my daughter came here and really pleased about new changes in January and the rest of the year. Keep up the great work.
