We are very happy with our little one going to Busy Bees at Wandsworth Nursery. The place is lovely, extremely clean, comfortable rooms for the children to play. They are very incentivised by all the teachers. The environment encourages the child to explore, experiment, develop different skills as he
grows.
They enjoy outdoor activities even if the space is not as big.
The food is very good quality, homemade and fresh. The communication with the parents is optimal through meetings and the online system.
Overall, I'm very happy with the service.

Overall, I'm really satisfied to have my daughter in this nursery.
When I was looking for a nursery I was soon impressed by the size of the rooms of this nursery, which is uncommon. I visited at least 10 nurseries and in terms of space, this nursery doesn't have rivals. Rooms are also clean and all
furniture and toys are in good order and almost new.
My daughter has settled very well. She loves the food and so far she never had any issues.
I like the fact that babies play lots of different sensory games and they do lots of activities even with older kids. I believe this is a good approach as babies can learn a lot from older kids.
Every day, I get a full update of all the activities she's done. This is a good way for me to know what she enjoyed or not, so I can replicate at home.
I also like that the school is bilingual, English and Spanish mainly, so that my baby can learn another international language.

My son has been very happy at this nursery and I would definitely recommend to other parents in the area. The facilities are excellent and the range of activities are very varied. Every day that I pick up my son, they give a full handover of what he has been up to that day and it's always something
different, a new project, a new sensory play area etc.

The garden area is a real asset to the nursery, it's very spacious compared to other nurseries in the area and there is room to run around as well as lots of items to play with, also it's not next to a road which is another rarity in central London.

The nursery is always immaculately clean, to the point I wonder how they manage it and the food prepared by Chef (who all the kids love) is delicious! The take-home food service is an absolute gem of an idea and a life saver for working parents.

I'm definitely a mum who loves to 'worry' but when it comes to this nursery I can't fault them; they do a great job and he loves it there.

First impressions (1st month for my twins) are excellent. The lovely caring staff that supported my daughters to transition very well from home to a nursery setting. Very attentive and happy to comfort them when they got upset. Within a month I can already see progress in their development.
The nursery
itself is very clean and rooms are perfectly done to allow kids to learn in a comfortable and spacious environment. We are very excited to see our girls happy and keep developing!

I am very happy with the choice I made with Wandsworth Nursery & Pre-School Academy. The staff are friendly and always in a good mood. They are very sweet with my daughter and have helped her a lot to settle in. We have been there only for a few months but have seen a lot of developments on her already.

The food is really good and the manager does a great job!

I definitely recommend this nursery.

This nursery is amazing. They make you and your child feel so comfortable and fit in like you've been there forever.

My daughter has learnt so much in her being at this nursery she has made many friends and loves each day at nursery. I would most definitely recommend this nursery it's clean and

tidy and doesn't have that dirty nappy smell you can get at some nurseries.

Since my daughter has been attending Busy Bees nursery, she has become more confident in herself, as well as this communication has developed and also the independence that she has gained. When I drop her off she is happy and she waves goodbye to me. I'm happy with the decision on the nursery she is
attending and will be continuing attending. There are always different activities set up in the morning, where she is able to tell what she has done and learning a different language(Spanish).

The staff are friendly, welcoming and also smiling. They are able to tell me any information about my daughter's day, the environment is clean and safe, I don't have any worries about that. I feel that the staff show the right level of care and love to the children at Busy Bees.

I am very happy that my son (3 years) and my daughter (1 year) are part of the Busy Bees family in Wandsworth.
Since they have started, they learn something new every day.
In the baby room, my daughter is very attached to her key person as well as the rest of the staff. She is happy to spend her
time playing and doing the organized activities with her peers.
My son has made many friends over the past 2 years. He enjoys spending time with them as well as learning new things through the creative process of the preschool teacher. There is always a new theme and the whole class, through different activities, takes part in transforming/re-decorating the room to match that theme.
The nursery has evolved a lot since the new manager has started. The staff, in general, are amazing, especially the nursery cook who always takes extra care to accommodate any special requirements.
I couldn't have found a better place for my children to spend their time...

My niece started at Wandsworth Busy Bees over a year ago. I’m very impressed every time I collect her from the nursery. It’s overwhelming to see how her development has grown since she started. The management and team are very cheerful, professional and very caring. The staff are amazing at explaining
thoroughly what my niece has done during the day and keeps track of all her areas of development. Well done Wandsworth team keep the great work going.

We couldn’t be happier with The Wandsworth Nursery and Preschool academy. Every bit of their service and attention to the kids is spot on! Every child feels special and loved and I am always at peace knowing that my son is very well looked after. My son has come on leaps and bounds with them and his
expression and language have developed significantly as have his confidence and independence. At the age of 2 and a half, he has also become very fond of books and loves to sit with me at home to read which he has picked up from nursery story times. My only wish is for them to share more pictures of the kids activities on our app.

Since my little boy started here in October 2017, he has continued to be a little happy chappy but has grown in confidence and waves goodbye to me every morning when I drop him off (which, as a parent, is a huge relief and a proud moment).

All staff are very friendly and helpful and assist with any

questions/enquiries I may have very quickly. There is a great balance of care and independence here at this nursery. My little boy, I know, is cared for and very well looked after but at the same time, has his independence and is not spoon-fed at every opportunity/task (which I am thankful for).

Overall, a very good Nursery. So far so good.

My experience with Busy Bees has been wonderful, I couldn’t ask for a better nursery. They have helped my child to learn and grow as well as helping and guiding me along the way. It’s been nice to be able to get practical advice during challenging times I experienced with my boy, from tantrums to potty
training! The staff and manager really look out for us and are so caring, they keep me updated with activities in the nursery and how my kid is doing. He has had a lovely time at the nursery and has grown attached to it. I have noticed an improvement in my child's interaction, he is more confident and sociable and swiftly adjusts to having more children around him - he now enjoys their company. Thank you Busy Bees and all the staff working there for taking care of us! I would definitely recommend this nursery, you won’t be left disappointed.

I am very pleased with the nursery and couldn’t be happier about the choice I have made.

When I drop my son off at Busy Bees three days a week he is happy to go and be there and can’t wait to go inside to learn which put a smile on my face and reassure me as a parent.

Each day is different and

full of activities and learning for the children to do and the play area/garden is great.

I love the parent zone app because it is a great way to keep up to date with my son daily activities, meals & nappy status and many more as well as receiving email on a weekly basis.

The nursery management team and staff are very approachable, friendly and do a wonderful job in taking care of all the children at Busy Bees.

Kind regards to you all.

My grandchild has recently started attending Busy Bees in the baby room and I must say my daughter made a great choice. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly. They provide you with all the information you need and keep you up to date with what they've done for the day. Management is excellent.
They have an open door policy which makes you feel like you can go to them at anytime without feeling like you're bothering them.

I love the outdoor space and love the fact that the babies have their own little corner if they need to separate from the older children. Activities and resources are excellent. One thing I really admire about the nursery is how clean and spacious it is. The food is great and I love the fact that they get a take-home meal at the end of the day. Overall, an excellent nursery with a great team.

I have always been very happy with the nursery since my daughter started in April 2016 but in the last year, the overall standards in the nursery have increased. I know this is thanks to the new manager and her staff who make my daughter feel very welcomed, involved in different activities and happy
to be at nursery.

I very much like the fact that she is able to develop her Spanish language in nursery as well due to the different nationalities of the members of staff; this is especially important for us as she is a child growing in a trilingual environment at home and in this manner she is able to at least learnt two of them at nursery too. She will be moving to the preschool area of the nursery next year and I am looking forward starting the next cycle of her learning years within the safe environment of the nursery. I can only thank everyone at nursery for taking such good care of my daughter.

We are absolutely delighted with the nursery and couldn’t be happier about the choice we made. Every morning when we drop our son off he is absolutely thrilled to be there and you can see the baby room set up with all the activities for the day.
Every day is full of different activities and the nursery
staff are very attentive to the children’s development and wellbeing. I especially love coming to pick up my son and seeing him so preoccupied with all the toys and other children. The garden space is an absolute gem and it is so lovely that the children get to play outside in the fresh air.

There is a wonderful cook and our son looks forward to every meal. We get a lot of comfort from knowing that our boy gets a healthy, balanced diet every day. We especially love the fact that he comes home with a dinner so that is one thing we don’t need to worry about.

We have transferred from another nursery in the Busy Bees group and we are very happy with our decision. My son settled in very well and professional approach of everybody in the nursery made it really easy for him. I love the space, there is plenty of space to play, different areas with different themes
and babies can move around freely and explore. They also go outside several times a day which is important. The outside area could be bigger but it is still a reasonable size. Food is excellent and I especially like the fact that we get dinners in a little box to take home so I don't have to worry about dinner for my little one which is a great time-saving. The nursery manager has a very welcoming approach, she is open to ideas and comments. I also like the fact that she spends some time in the rooms so knows the babies better and shares stories from the day. The parent zone application is being updated almost online so I can read everything about my sons day on the way from work.

Since my son joined Busy Bees, I’ve been massively impressed with the rapid rate of his development.

I know every time I went to see a Nursery in the area they are all quick to explain how great their practice is, but I’ve got to hand it to the team at Busy Bees because they are a fantastic bunch.

They are really approachable and caring. I’ve seen how attentive they are to my boy when I walk in the room.

Management constantly communicates with me. I’m well informed of his daily progress and time at Nursery. As only parents would understand, I’m now relaxed about leaving my child in the care of this great team of people. Couldn't be happier and I'd recommend trying them out.

Current Review Score: 8.6 (8.556)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.6 (8.556) out of 10 for Busy Bees Wandsworth Nursery & Pre-School Academy is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.5 out of 5 from 10 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.1 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.475 for Busy Bees Wandsworth Nursery & Pre-School Academy is calculated as follows: ( (92 Excellents x 5) + (16 Goods x 4) + (1 Poors x 2) + (11 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 120 Ratings = 4.475
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.081 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Wandsworth Nursery & Pre-School Academy is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 = 3.7
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 118 number of registered child places is 23.6. 9 Positive Reviews ÷ 23.6 = 0.381
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
