Busy Bees Wandsworth Nursery & Pre-School Academy

My daughter loves this nursery so much that we travel over six miles to put her in, surely that says it all. The staff are all lovely, welcoming and the nursery is well managed. Communication and response times are super fast.

Great nursery and lovely staff. Well manage, all round ten out of ten. My daughter just went back after not going for three months and at first was a little upset! Three minutes later she’s back to loving it, this is solely due to the professionalism of the staff and how they comforted her into feeling safe again. High level trained staff.

My daughter has been going here for over two years and she has always enjoyed it. During lockdown I also found the nursery extremely helpful with information and taking precautions to keep my daughter safe. Any queries I have had are always answered promptly or passed onto the relevant person. The app too see what she does through the day us great. We love it here.

Both of my children have been with Busy Bee Wandsworth Nursery & Pre-School Academy since they were ten months old. They have been very happy and thriving in the nursery. All the staff are friendly, particularly in the baby room, where they are really passionate about all the babies. My two children absolutely love the staff in the baby room. A big advantage is the take-home meals, which works very well for working parents who do not have time to prepare dinner every evening. Management, on the whole, is good and communication is usually prompt. The nursery also has a big garden shared between all the rooms. I would recommend Busy Bee Wandsworth Nursery & Pre-School Academy to other parents.

Nice big rooms for each age group (baby, toddler and pre school), with a good sized garden. Management changed a few times in the past three years but the current manager is attentive and helpful. Multilingual staff and at one point they were running Spanish and French classes. Our two kids attending the nursery seem happy.

My daughter has been at Busy Bees Wandsworth Nursery & Pre-School Academy for six months and she absolutely loves it. The key workers are so lovely and warm, which makes my daughter very relaxed to be there every day. The menu is varied so I know nutritionally she is getting everything she needs, we are kept well informed about our child and wider nursery communications through a great app and regular emails. My daughter has developed so, so much since being there, every day it feel like she comes home with a new skill. They celebrate all different celebrations in different cultures and have themes for every possible occasion like World Book Day, World Grandparents Day, Valentine’s Day and Pancake Day. I would not hesitate in recommending this nursery.

Excellent service for my child, she only started a month ago and is doing amazingly well. The staff are very caring and loving. They take temperatures of staff and children as they arrive. I love this nursery.

Great nursery, I really recommend it! My little girl was welcomed with open arms by the team at this nursery. They are always very happy and enthusiastic, which means leaving my daughter there easier for us. We know that they always plan activities and the children all seem very happy. Also, there is an excellent relationship between the parents and the team. The director of the nursery always answers emails rapidly, there is a weekly email with planned activities and meals as well as monthly newsletters. Definitely recommend!

My son has been here for about 5 months and every night he comes home with a smile. 5-star service and friendships made. My boy has come out of his shell, is confident and happy and the nursery has helped with this.

My son was timid before beginning with Busy Bees. Soon he was always happy when we talked about the nursery also about the workers there. Everyone there is so kind and gives personalised attention which every child needs. I'm so proud of how my son has improved, confident and is now ready for school. Gratitude Busy Bees!

Lovely nursery and teachers. My son attended from 2.5-years-old to starting school and always looking forward to going to nursery. The facilities are great, and children have fantastic planned activities during the day. They have a really good support for children with special needs.

I love this nursery and definitely would recommend to anyone who asked me about where my child goes.

Overall we're happy, especially after some changes have been made, adding more staff and a bit more order and planning. We think it is the good way to go and to keep improving in more areas so kids are seeing this benefit. Some other initiatives are the library/books and these are very good. Also language sessions and sports - keep doing them.

Shame to have to write a bad review as the staff and teaching are pretty good. Just the children are a number in a business wheel and not looked at or tailored for individually. The manager has made no attempt to accommodate my request to move my daughter up to the toddler room as she is more than ready due to the fact there are 8 people older than her. I do not want to jump a queue but she needs to be with older children or at least interact with them.Sad really, the computer says no! Have moved to another nursery. After an initial review of her, they put her straight in the toddler room.

My daughter has settled amazingly well. Happy to go to nursery every day. The teachers provide me with information about her learning and I am happy with the progress that she's making. They even do take-home meals.

The nursery is very well located for us and our son had been going since he was 9 months (he is now 18 months). He is very happy there and we are impressed with: 1) How clean the nursery is. 2) The outside space that allows him to play sports and run around. 3) The on-site chef and the freshly prepared meals. 4) The parental access to the CCTV cameras which show us how well he is treated. 5) The very friendly staff. 6) A variety of activities performed with the children. Yes it is expensive but it’s worth it to know your child is getting the best care and having fun at the same time.

I am so happy to have taken my baby boy to Busy Bees. The staff are so caring and fun and made me feel good about leaving my baby with them even if he was a bit poorly. He engaged in so many activities and learnt to crawl there. I got very useful updates from the staff as well. Management and administration are so easy to approach and very responsive. The food has always been great too, especially that they give some to take home for dinner which was a great help.

Our daughter is developing strong social skills, thanks to her time mixing with other children and adults at the nursery. We also love that she has the opportunity for messy play and outdoor activities. The hours and routine fit really well with our routine, having breakfast and lunch included in a morning session is super helpful for us as parents. And there is a lovely, homely, personal atmosphere.

I hope that some of my concerns only comes from the relatively short time since my son has joined nursery, but these are the areas where I would like to see more improvement.

My child is happy there!
