My son was with a childminder before nursery and is considerably happier now he's here. He has made lots of friends, gets to play with so many toys and eats a bit better than at home!

I am extremely happy that my boy has made so much progress since he started in June 2017.
He has become a lot more confident and independent.
We had issues with separation anxiety and eating.
Now with the parent zone application, I am able to see that he is not only eating but also feeding himself
and actually enjoying the food the nursery provides.
I am also able to see exactly what he has eaten and check his nappy status and sleeping times from home.
He is not only learning songs and singing around our house but also saying and understanding more words.
I have been so impressed with the nursery that I even recommended two parents to join the nursery for their children.
The improvement in him has given me the confidence to not worry about him during nursery time and actually start doing something for myself.
The staff are wonderful, especially a carer who has done a wonderful job with him from day one. Thank you all.

I love this nursery most of all my son is very happy there. I have stress-free days knowing that my son is in a loving environment, who cares about each and every one of his needs.
The staff is there because they have the passion. I notice how they relay all information, nothing is too small, I know
everything that happens in his day.
I can say with confidence that I found the perfect nursery.

We are very happy with the development of our child over the past year since joining Busy Bees Wandsworth. The nutrition they receive, the friendly and dedicated staff and the brand new, well-resourced facilities are the main reason why we would recommend this nursery and our son enjoys his time there
so much. The nursery is always open to improvement and suggestions. It is definitely the best in the area.

Since my son started at the nursery, at which he was very unsettled, to begin with, we have been very pleased with the lady who has managed the settling in process perfectly. The Senior Room Leader, the Deputy Manager and the Manager have all gone the extra mile by providing us with regular updates,
including photographs, of our son's day. They have answered telephone calls for updates with enthusiasm. Now, my son is being looked after really well and is settling in. Our little one has even started asking to go in the mornings now! He is definitely enjoying!

My niece has been coming since Feb 2017 and I am so happy with everything about the nursery. The nursery is clean, bright and a happy environment. The manager is very passionate about her nursery and that shows throughout. Her and the staff are very professional but also very friendly and welcoming.
The staff appear to know all the children’s names even though they may not work in their rooms. My niece seems to enjoy the different activities, which are very varied. I have noticed a huge improvement with her talking in a short space of time.
They provide healthy snacks and 'home-cooked' meals that my niece loves. When I go to collect her, I am told what sort of day she has had, what activities she has done and how much food she's had (usually she eats everything!)
The staff always have time to talk to me if I have any questions or concerns, and I always feel they have spent enough time with me. I don't have enough words to thank everyone for their excellent work.

The staff at Busy Bees Wandsworth are extremely friendly, helpful and caring. My son attends the baby room since he was 5 months old, being the youngest baby in the room worried me at first but the professionalism of the staff always made me feel that my baby was in the right hands. They follow my routine
and comply with any specific requirements I have for my son.

The nursery has a very calm, sociable, and relaxed atmosphere. The staff have made a huge effort to include our son in all the activities. This nursery had everything I was looking for. Although for us, the most important thing was the adults' attitude towards our daughter and the amount of focus she
would receive.

Busy Bees Wandsworth is an excellent nursery and pre-school. My sister is 2 and a half years old and has been attending the nursery for about 8 months. It's incredible how advanced she is in her speech and knowledge of things, she truly amazes me every day. This is also thanks to the amazing staff,
including the manager who no doubt has given the Nursery a great name.

We came to visit Busy Bees and immediately decided this was the right environment for our toddler.
He is extremely attached to me and his daddy and it was lovely to see he bonded straight away with his key workers.
They really do take care of my boy and I can tell by the way he seems so cheerful,
chatty and playful when I come to collect him.
They have a wide variety of toys indoors and outdoors.
Cleanliness is very important to us and the staff here were more than happy to show me how they keep the playroom clean and make arrangements with me for anything extra I requested.
I am very happy with our choice for this nursery but I wish my boy would start eating or get the confidence to eat at the nursery as this seems to be his weak point.
We have only been at the nursery 2 months so we have not noticed much change in our son's education level but I will be happy to review again in a few months on my thoughts of my sons' progress

My daughter (age 3) was extremely happy in the pre- school Academy. Her nursery teacher always took the time to explain what she learnt that day; so I could continue at home. At pick up time, my daughter didn't want to leave, showing how much she loved it! She will miss it here very much, but I feel
she has been prepared for Big school!

Very nice facilities, great toys and activities, super nutrition, and flexible enough to accommodate some of my schedules. I also really like the multicultural and diversity of languages among children and staff.
Management and staff are very warm, welcoming and caring. I'm really happy to see my niece
enjoying every day at nursery.

Busy Bees (Wandsworth) has a great set up. The Nursery is very clean, tidy and bright, the outside play area has a fantastic range of facilities.
The nursery is very well organised and communication with parents and carers is excellent, staff are helpful and approachable. Activities are well organised,
Mother's Day tea party coming up.
My toddler talks constantly about her care worker and her new best friend. She has made lots of friends, became more sociable and independent and in her own words, nursery "It’s lovely.”
They did a great job potty training her. We are very happy with the nursery.

I came to the nursery school as we had decided that the grandparents would pick their granddaughter up. Seeing that not all the staff had been informed, one member of the staff didn't want to let us take our granddaughter unless she could verify that it was as actually arranged (copies of our passports
had been sent and authorisation was given) so 10 out of 10 for security.
It's a lovely, bright, clean and well-organised nursery school and we couldn't be happier knowing that our granddaughter is thriving there.

My daughter loves going to Busy Bees every day. She is greeted with so much warmth and cheerfulness it puts a smile on both our faces. It's so great not having to take nappies, and even better is getting a to-go bag with a delicious and healthy supper at the end of each day - such a helpful touch.
The baby room is so much larger, airier and lighter than other nurseries I have seen and there is a lovely outside garden. Top marks from us!

When I brought my first born, 18 month old, to Busy Bees I was anxious about his feelings and quality of child care. I arrived with a huge list of questions, I did about two weeks of drop-ins(!) and once we signed up I remember asking the preschool teachers to warm up the wipes before putting them
on my baby's bum! They didn't laugh at me, instead, they did everything to put ME at ease, warmed up the wipes and also took care of other things that cropped up.

It is that care and attention of not only my child but also of my concerns that make me happily recommend Busy Bees over and over.

The garden is also fantastic, the biggest I have seen in Wandsworth and we visited four other day care units.

Eventually, I became much more settled (ha!). My child's confidence grew, his language and his eating improved immensely as often tricky foods are routine. This nursery offers fantastic pre-school and support from a very kind and caring team.

Current Review Score: 8.6 (8.556)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.6 (8.556) out of 10 for Busy Bees Wandsworth Nursery & Pre-School Academy is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.5 out of 5 from 10 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.1 out of 5 from 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.475 for Busy Bees Wandsworth Nursery & Pre-School Academy is calculated as follows: ( (92 Excellents x 5) + (16 Goods x 4) + (1 Poors x 2) + (11 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 120 Ratings = 4.475
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.081 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Wandsworth Nursery & Pre-School Academy is based on 9 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 = 3.7
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 118 number of registered child places is 23.6. 9 Positive Reviews ÷ 23.6 = 0.381
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
