OMG, this place has just had an amazing refurb, it's like the most beautiful nursery in the world!
Whenever I came to drop off my sister, she was always welcomed so well by the staff team. Really high staff to child ratios, such a calm relaxing environment!
Sadly had to transfer to different Busy
Bees, but she still talks about the staff and children at Wandsworth, so heartbreaking!
Plus the cook is amazing! (she gave me some home made biscuits once lol)

My 2y old is currently in the toddler room, she spent a year in the baby room before that and she is very happy with Busy Bees. The staff are very loving and caring and great with the kids, almost like one big family. It seems like she learns something new every day. It is amazing to see how she has
developed since going to Busy Bees and it was also very beneficial for her confidence and interaction with other kids. The nursery has recently been refurbished and looks amazing, the outside space and toys are great. Thanks for doing an amazing job, it makes it so much easier to leave my daughter there every day.

Our son has been with Busy Bees since he was 6 months old. It has now been over a year and a half. He's been from the baby room now to toddlers and he is absolutely loving it. There is a real bond with the other children who have mostly been there just as long and the staff. He is also showing great
signs of development compared to other children his age who may not be attending a nursery. The facilities have recently been refurbished and are brilliant. The food is fresh and made on site, which was a big selling point for us. The kids absolutely love it and take part in baking activities now and again. Last but not least, most of the children at Busy Bees Wandsworth have a multicultural and multilingual background, which I think is extremely positive for all in these early years of development.

My daughter attends Busy Bees at Wandsworth. She settled in extremely fast which reassured me that this is the right place for her to develop and flourish. She immediately warmed to her care-workers who made her feel welcome and settled and they keep me involved in her development daily. I’m amazed
by the rate of her development over the last month. Her vocabulary has expanded much to my amusement, her hand-eye coordination is superb and her confidence has vastly improved.

In my first week, the manager assured me there would be many changes to the facilities, staff and practice which I’ve seen progressively happen. I’m extremely happy to see that she's actually making a positive change and impacting my daughter’s education in a great way and not simply about securing my money.

My two children (3 and 1) currently attend Busy Bees at Wandsworth, in preschool and 'baby'. Both kids are very happy and settled at the nursery. They enjoy their daily activities, particularly cooking classes, and playing in the outside playground. The staff are supportive and kind. I really appreciate
how the nursery is flexible with accommodating extra days in nursery when there is some work thing I need to deal with. And the 'take home meals' are actually very helpful.

My daughter has been going to the nursery for almost 2 years now. She enjoys her time in the nursery and is happy with the care takers. After the refurbishment, the rooms are more spacious and airy. Since the last couple of months, systematic activities are planned with each child based on their needs.
We appreciate that the dietary requirement of the children are taken into consideration. In the past, there have been too many management changes and key people have moved on. There was no adequate handover and we felt things were not structured. We really hope the latest changes are here to stay.

Very well run nursery, management team are very efficient and approachable. Welcoming environment, children always seem happy. Excellent resources, my son loves his key worker and there seems to be a very good partnership with the parents forming, which is great for me, especially as I really want to
be involved with my child's day and help out the team as and when I can.
I really hope they continue to flourish as they are doing so and I am looking forward to myself my wife and my son being a part of this journey. Well done Busy Bees Wandsworth team!

Current Review Score: 8.0 (7.990)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.0 (7.990) out of 10 for Busy Bees Wandsworth Nursery & Pre-School Academy is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.3 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.7 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.278 for Busy Bees Wandsworth Nursery & Pre-School Academy is calculated as follows: ( (55 Excellents x 5) + (5 Goods x 4) + (1 Poors x 2) + (11 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 72 Ratings = 4.278
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.712 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Wandsworth Nursery & Pre-School Academy is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.5
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 118 number of registered child places is 23.6. 5 Positive Reviews ÷ 23.6 = 0.212
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
