Bright Horizons West Norwood Day Nursery and Preschool

We have been so pleased with Bright Horizons and how our son has thrived there since he started attending. The staff are lovely and very caring and the managers are very engaged and attentive. We love the ethos at the nursery as well as the welcoming environment, rooms and outdoor spaces. We particularly like the fact that each age group/cohort has their own dedicated space and outdoor space, which is not something we have seen at many other nurseries.

Just would like to say a big thank you from my heart for all your hard work, love, dedication, and patience to all the children. I genuinely didn't want my daughter to leave because I know how well she has been taken care of since she started as a 1-year-old. All of the staff are so caring, positive, supportive, and ever so passionate. I would like to say a special thank you to the staff, it's been a pleasure knowing you, and the little lady really misses you. Best wishes, always.

This is such a great nursery - all the staff are friendly and really care about all of the children. There are so many activities, from sensory play, to imaginative play. My son is quite sensitive but he has developed so much here, bonding with his key workers and making friends. The nursery manager is very hands on, organised, encouraging and I think runs the nursery brilliantly.

My daughter has had the best time at Bright Horizons. They have created a lovely warm and fun environment in which my daughter has been able to make great friendships. She loves the sensory and messy play and I think it creates a sense of adventure and exploration for them to develop. She is always eating new and exciting things at nursery that she wouldn’t necessarily get to try at home.

I love the Nursery, they are really loving with my son. My son finds it really hard to come into the nursery. They are really loving to always come out to help me down the street to get him in. Trust me, my son is hard work. And I love the fact that they are always helping us out every time. I love when you collect your child from Nursery and they tell you what my son did, what they eat how they enjoy playing outside in the garden, playing with friends. The Staff are always smiling and ready to tell you about your child then never tired.

Bright Horizons West Norwood is such a special place. Our daughter has been there for 8 months and we have been so impressed by the care and attention she has been given. The staff are incredible - professional and capable, whilst at the same time so loving and kind to the children. The nursery manager is so impressive. She always has time for the parents and also seems to know everything about all the kids. I couldn’t recommend this place any more.

This week my son has spent two years at nursery. He has made great friends, met live animals and enjoyed trips out. He is absolutely thriving here. The nursery has been super flexible with my work schedule - an absolute must for any working parent.

We are incredibly happy with the nursery. One of our children is disabled and they took on the challenge of caring for her with genuine care and support. All the staff are willing to upskill and learn how to deal with her, but at the same time they are very down to earth with her and she gets treated the same as everyone else. I have absolute confidence that our kids are happy and well looked after.

Amazing nursery with beautiful, amazing staff. My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 9 months till now at the age of 5. My daughter has excelled in all areas and it is a big thank you to all the staff. My daughter is always excited to go to nursery each morning and sad when it’s time to leave. The best nursery.

My son has been at the nursery for 2 years and has loved his experiences there - he consistently comes home happy! We're really pleased with the facilities and the range of developmental activities. We also love the multicultural vibe in the nursery (staff, children, activities) as this reflects our community and resonates with our family values. The staff work exceptionally hard, are diligent and caring, irrespective of whether they are permanent or temporary staff. Their support to parents is excellent, always offering advice when needed and making regular observations.

Our son's Preschool graduation was such a lovely celebration for him and his friends, and the care and love the staff showed in their organisation of the day was exactly what we've come to expect over our time with this nursery. Our children feel like they are with family when they go to nursery each day.

Very good nursery. Lots of activities for children to get on with. Staff seem very engaged and helpful. Could benefit from bigger outdoor space. Class sizes are reasonable and a wide selection of food is served to the children.

I am very pleased with the care, education and place I have chosen for my child. My son is happy when he comes home from pre-school and full of enthusiasm.

My baby has been attending Bright Horizons West Norwood Day Nursery and Preschool for the past 3-months and I am happy with my choice of nurseries. The staff are very friendly and the passion and care for the children is 100-per cent. I feel satisfied and at ease when dropping off my baby and leaving her for the day. The staff always provide a variety of activities to keep the children interested and work alongside us as parents to make sure that the needs of the children are always being met.

Since my daughter started attending in January 2021 she has been supported from nursery through to preschool. She is doing very well and staff always do their best to ensure the children have the best start to their day. The activities, resources and food on offer is very good as well. You really get your value for what you paid for. Overall I am happy with the care and progress of my daughter. Continue to do a good job.

From the moment I called to visit the nursery, I knew this place was special. The nursery manager and the team provide a caring environment that stimulates, challenges and stretches the children’s learning. Our daughter loves attending nursery. We feel very supported by our daughter's key worker, we sailed through potty training with their support. Ultimately we feel they care for our daughter as much as we do.

During the lockdown, they had a great response and initiated an online resource to help us with ideas and easy to follow activities. A big thank you! to all the team for making my little one’s time very special there.

We have had both our daughters at the nursery over the last 5 years and have had a great experience. The staff and facilities are first class and both our girls loved their time there. Would highly recommend.

A great nursery. Our daughter loved attending West Norwood Bright Horizons and we were consistently delighted with the quality of the care and the investment in her development. She was happy, stretched and supported child in their care.

I've always felt comfortable that my son is in excellent hands at nursery. This compliments his learning and his keyworkers give great feedback which is really important to ensure we are all doing everything we can for his development.
