My son has been attending Putney Bright Horizons for over 18-months now, and he absolutely loves it there. The staff are all very friendly and clearly care greatly for all the children, and plan out a range of great educational activities. I really enjoy seeing all the activities every week in the regular
newsletter, and my son now regularly sings lots of songs that he has learnt while at nursery. In the past, I have found the long opening hours 7 pm very helpful for reducing the stress of worrying about being late for pickups (e.g. when traffic was bad).

The nursery offers a good environment for my son who is thriving in the preschool - we joined February 2020. Opening hours are great, especially a late pick-up, the nursery is opened until 7 pm. The quality of care is remarkably high, and staff very professional, and have a great ability to bond with
kids. The nursery was closed due to lockdown, and we came back at the end of August, since then, my son reconnected with old and made new friends. The only thing that I am not happy with is the quality of the food, which is quite poor knowing how reputable the chain is, and one of the biggest. It’s not fit for purpose on a cheap side with not enough variety of fruits nor vegetables. The outside space could have been bigger, however, difficult to put in place in the current location.

I'm sure all first-time parents would agree that finding a nursery can be daunting. We looked at so many and decided to stick with Putney Bright Horizons because in the first 15 minutes of being there we just got that feeling.
The staff are absolutely brilliant and my son loves attending there. Big
thumps up from me.

My daughter has really thrived at Bright Horizons. All the staff have been fabulous. It would be great if we could receive electronic updates of what our child is up to. Bright Horizons Putney has been everything I wanted for my daughter and more. The Manager and her team have always been completely caring in how they treat the children. They work with both children and parents to ensure each child gets what they need to thrive and constantly show initiative in providing

We have a daughter currently at Pre-school, having been in the nursery room previously, and our youngest daughter is in the baby room. We're extremely happy with the care and attention both our girls receive. They have been absolutely thriving in the learning environment and are always happy and excited

I am very impressed with the care our child receives at Asquith's. Since joining he has quickly developed language skills and is closely monitored and supported by all staff. The staff are friendly and approachable. Our son enjoys going to pre-school and is quickly making new friends and life experiences.

Both our children have been to nursery here and have loved it. The staff are really friendly and genuinely care about the kids. The management team are both warm and highly professional. The facilities are great and have been renovated and extended twice since we have been there.
The quality of care
and education is really very high and the kids are well prepared for 'big school'. There are additional activities the kids love such as a weekly musical Spanish class and occasional trips to the library or museums. Food is great and every evening you get an update on what has been happening through the day.
Really can't fault a thing.
I asked the kids what they thought: Nursery gave me the opportunity to have fun and do some of my favourite things like read or play with the dollhouse and dinosaurs" (age six). "What she said" (age four).

My child has been attending the nursery for a year now and started off in the baby room. She settled really well and the staff were amazing. I'm really pleased with the care she received. The activities provided help to support her progress and development immensely. The staff are friendly, polite and
professional which makes me feel comfortable to leave my child in their care. Her transition into the toddler room was done according to her pace and readiness. She has blossomed in leaps and bounds and grown in confidence. She counts up to ten, says the days of the week, knows some of her colours, sings lots of songs, says some words in Spanish and lots more. All at the age of 21 months. She really enjoys going into nursery, which is great. The management team are friendly and supportive and have been great when I’ve needed help.

I have my two children in Bright Horizons.
In preschool I find the activities varied and fun for the children, a lot focusing on science, seasons and maths. I think there maybe should be a little more focus on drawing, writing and holding pens ahead of school. Overall, I am very happy and so is my
daughter.
My son is very happy in nursery. It all looks like they have a lot of fun and his vocabulary is developed. My big comment is that I believe children should wear overalls because all their clothes get ruined. Can this be implemented?

We have had our child in the daycare baby room for 3 months now. She is very happy going every day, and we couldn't ask for more than that! I do wish there was outdoor space dedicated for the babies and that the room where they sleep had window coverings (as they'd all sleep longer I'm sure!), but overall,
we are very happy. The staff are very caring, and really listen to what we say about our baby's care, and we have been pleased that there is very little staff turnover to date.

Hi, I am Rachel, the Nursery manager. I have worked at Putney Pre School and Day nursery for 7 years since we opened and I have been very fortunate to be a part of its wonderful growth and Journey. Starting off as the Baby room leader I have watched all the children graduate off to school, and welcome many siblings into the nursery!


I have worked with children for 12 years and hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare. I have worked in a vast range of childcare settings, including private and public nurseries, Montessori schools and holiday clubs, but do truly have a passion for the under 5’s, making sure that I can help provide the best start in life.
