To start I was really impressed with the settling in time - most nurseries you have a few sessions but here we had 8 weeks! We only had 4 weeks to settle in so went in quite intensely which I really enjoyed. This time wasn't just great for her but also for me - I got to know and trust all the staff who are all just so lovely and really care about the children and seem to love doing their jobs and have endless amounts of energy and enthusiasm. I really like that the staff and children from all areas know who we are - as we arrive and walk through the pre-school they all say hello, it's so fun and friendly.
Also, the patience of the staff is amazing - getting my baby to sleep was no mean feat but they all stayed cheerful throughout, tried every trick they knew and kept me upbeat when I felt like it would never happen. The first day she slept well I came in to pick her up and they were all so excited to tell me and show me the photo of her fast asleep!
My first day back at work I started to crumble but they made it super easy for me to leave her in such a happy place and called me up to let me know she was doing great. The chef is brilliant and takes care to cook amazing meals for them - she has tried such a variety of foods and cuisines. It's little touches like that that make this nursery so special
I just cannot rate this nursery high enough and have nothing but praise for the team there.
My husband and I couldn't be more delighted with this nursery and their incredible, warm and loving staff members. A fantastic, creative programme implemented by gentle and caring individuals who daily work hard to make my 2 year old daughter feel comfortable, safe, secure and add to her growing vocabulary and overall learning. I have already recommended to several friends and I have nothing but great things to say about this lovely place.

Meet the Team (2)
Hi, I am Rachel, the Nursery manager. I have worked at Putney Pre School and Day nursery for 7 years since we opened and I have been very fortunate to be a part of its wonderful growth and Journey. Starting off as the Baby room leader I have watched all the children graduate off to school, and welcome many siblings into the nursery!
I have worked with children for 12 years and hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare. I have worked in a vast range of childcare settings, including private and public nurseries, Montessori schools and holiday clubs, but do truly have a passion for the under 5’s, making sure that I can help provide the best start in life.
Louise is our Deputy Manager at our Putney Nursery.
