Crews Hill Day Nursery and Pre-School

I can’t thank everyone at Head Start Day Nursery. The progress our son has made since joining in September 2022 is above and beyond anything we could have ever expected. He is so much more confident and is so happy every time I drop him off. He loves all his nursery teachers and they have such a nurturing, caring way with him! The best decision we have made as parents!

Head Start is a wonderful nursery. Their outdoor space and facilities are second to none and it is clear that the staff genuinely care about the children and their development. Keep up the good work!

Our cousins little one started with Crews Hill Nursery which helped us make the decision to do the same. The team have been very welcoming and accommodating of any needs or preferences and spent the time to assure us of any queries we have. The management are very efficient and are always on hand to help. Will be recommending in the future.

My little one started with the team at Head Start Day Nursery Crews Hill and we couldn’t be happier. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. My child has settled in well and is always happy when collected. The food offered is of a good variation - I wish I could have lunch there!

A lovely nursery with caring and happy staff, our baby settled in very quickly with their key worker. Very happy to have chosen this nursery and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. The grounds are lovely too.

My daughter has been attending Head Start Day Nursery Crews Hill since January 2022 and I couldn’t be happier with the choice we have made. We knew from the moment we walked in that this was the right nursery for us. The outdoor space is wonderful and the team is just great. The staff are caring and supportive and we feel happy and confident to leave our baby in their care. The communication is just great and we get regular updates from the room based staff as well as weekly updates from the management team. As someone who is from an education background I must add that the learning opportunities are just exceptional. They even have chickens in their garden which the children help to care for. The food is freshly made on site and my little one is definitely fed really well.

Our child has been with Head Start Day Nursery in Crews Hill from the age of 18 months to 2 years and has loved every day. He wakes up on Monday and Tuesday every week excited to go to nursery and talks about all the staff and his little mates. The grounds are great, the welfare is exemplary and we are gutted we are moving elsewhere as he has such an amazing experience. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Staff are so lovely and informative of my child every day. The nursery grounds are absolutely incredible. I would recommend this nursery to everyone and anyone. Best decision I’ve made by sending my child there.

I can't rate the nursery highly enough. My son is 18 months, and gets excited every morning that I get him out of the car to take him in! My daughter went to a neighbouring nursery where most of the staff used to work, and this is the main reason I decided to send my son to Head Start Day Nursery Crews Hill. All the staff have the children's welfare and happiness as their main priority. They have a lovely caring nature and my son loves his teachers. The management of the nursery is 2nd to none. There are regular well-being initiatives, environmental projects, daily educational lessons, sports, and crafts to broaden the childrens learning. The food provided is great quality, homemade and varied. There are lots of plans for improvement and communication is excellent. The outside space cannot be beaten in Enfield! The children are encouraged to develop, be independent and grow. I couldn't ask for more!

We returned to the nursery after a period away with a second child that was new to the nursery and the nursery itself was under new management. Generally, we’ve been very impressed with how it is managed, how proactively staff react to questions and issues raised and how comfortable and content our child feels in the setting. We welcome the management’s response to feedback and find them and all the staff very approachable. It’s been great to know also that our child has been exposed to a variety of activities - both those internally run and those brought in from external companies - and I think this makes a big difference to children who have been born and raised during the pandemic. The food offered and general welfare also seem to be of a very high standard. The staff also should be credited for continuing to work under challenging circumstances due to the pandemic and have a very family-focused approach - something which is really welcome at this time.

So far I’ve been extremely satisfied with this nursery. My daughter loves going here and some days she doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day. Staff are friendly and genuinely seem to care about the children. I would definitely recommend.

Compassionate, caring and helpful staff who work hard to create meaningful relationships with children and parents. Our daughter has settled well with their care and support. We are happy and would recommend this setting to friends and family.

Head Start at Crews Hill is in the most beautiful setting. The children are free to spend the entire day outdoors if they want to versus only having set times each day. This was one of the main reasons for choosing this nursery. Since starting 5 months ago, we have noticed such a change in our little boy and he absolutely loves going “to school” every morning.

Our son loves attending pre-school, and since his attendance he's made a number of friends and his speech has improved dramatically.

We were nervous about choosing the right pre-school for our son, but we're very happy with the choice we made and are excited to learn that improvements will soon be made to the facilities.

Overall, a nurturing, caring and educational environment which I am happy and reassured to leave my previous little one in. Thank you to all the staff who always have time to listen to me and give me thorough feedback.
