Crews Hill Day Nursery and Pre-School

My daughter has been attending Head Start Day Nursery Crews Hill for a number of months now. She really enjoys her time there and she loves all of the staff. She always has a big smile on her face when she is picked up and the staff always greet her with a happy smile.

He has learned so much from the staff in the short time he has been there and we could not be happier with this nursery.

We have just had to leave the incredible team at Head Start Day Nursery Enfield due to relocation for work. My son started attending the nursery when he was 6 months old and progressed through the classes up to pre-school. The team is led by an incredibly organised, efficient and supportive manager, who keeps parents well informed and updated. The whole staff team including the on-site chef, are all so friendly and enthusiastic. The cheerful smiles of each and every one of them in the mornings at drop off is a such a welcome relief for any parent but when they’re dancing at the door calling your sons name like staff do it really is the sunshine to both mine and my sons day. Big thank you to the Head Start team at crews hill. We could not recommend their care more highly.

We have transferred our little one to Head Start Day Nursery Enfield in September this year and couldn’t be happier! She always has a smile on her face in the morning, looking forward to going to nursery. The facilities are amazing and all staff members go above and beyond to make sure they meet every child’s needs. So pleased to have found Head Start!

Head Start Enfield is a wonderful learning environment with staff who take time to know every single child. Our little one has thrived here and talks fondly of his days spent exploring and learning new knowledge and developing skills. We cannot praise Head Start Nursery Enfield enough. The daily updates are excellent and the accompanying images and videos mean we can keep up to date and be part of our child's learning journey.

The mix of activities and outdoor space for outdoor activities have been fantastic for our child's learning and development.

Each and every day you would be greeted with a smile which makes you feel so confident of the place I am leaving my child.

Head start Day Nursery is a very safe, nurturing nursery. They look after each child as if they were their own. They do lots of varied activities and encourage all children to try new things. They celebrate all different events and days, some even I haven't heard of, and decorate parts of the room with children's work before parents receive them.

Head Start Day Nursery Enfield creates a caring environment that is certainly helping child to flourish.

However, the manager reassured me that she would be in good hands and I am happy to say that she is.

Both my daughters have been attending Head Start Day Nursery Enfield since they were fice and a half months old, They have and continue to receive wonderful care and the staff has been amazing in helping with weaning, walking and potty training. The quality and diversity of the activities the children enjoy is excellent and the staff is very nice at every level, with management really involved in every group. The outdoor space is incredible and the children benefit from the huge indoor and outdoor space every day of the year. My daughters absolutely love the nursery, we send them in full confidence and we can see they are extremely happy there.

The best nursery I have come across with the most caring and attentive staff. My daughter absolutely adores the staff. One staff member has been with my daughter from day one and luckily she has moved from one room to another together with my daughter, it has been amazing to have such continuity! From day one all staff asked what we do at home, what nappies/potty/creams we use/what my daughter eats/likes and dislikes. Due to not being fluent in English, staff were eager to learn Russian to ensure they can communicate with my daughter. I cannot describe how accommodating this nursey is and innovative. Management brought in an app to show the process of each child including the new little chicks that can grow together with children and help them learn new skills, being caring, attentive and kind, sensitive and emotionally calm. My niece and nephew have started this nursery too now and every evening cannot wait to be back! The thought of leaving the nursery one day makes us feel like we will lose our close family members.

Head start is a wonderful nursery! My daughter used to go there many moons ago and she is now 13 and I liked it so much I sent my son there. He has been attending since he was a baby and he is almost 4 - he loves going into nursery! So glad.

Our daughter has been at Head Start since February 2020. Our older daughter has been at two other nurseries and I can wholeheartedly say this is the best one. The genuine affection and care for the children is so evident in all of the staff - it’s a joy to watch. My daughter is extremely happy and has flourished there. I have no qualms about sending her each day and am so pleased she is somewhere where she is genuinely cared for. Thank you all.

My daughter has been at Head Start Day Nursery Enfield for the last two years and is so happy there. She runs in every morning and always leaves smiling at the end of each day, which makes me so happy. My five year old son also attended Head Start Day Nursery Enfield from the age of ten months old, up until he started school and enjoyed every minute of his time there too. The staff are all so friendly and helpful too!

Great team, lovely location and the key workers really do care about the children. Deciding on where to send your little one can be a difficult choice but the team at Head Start Day Nursery Enfield made it very easy and we knew it was the right place for my daughter. They look after the children extremely well, especially three members of staff in the baby and toddler room, who have been wonderful throughout the pandemic. Keep up the great work. The new app system is a brilliant addition, so nice to get daily updates!

I could not happier with Head Start Day Nursery Enfield. My daughter is a little shy and was very unhappy at her previous nursery, so I was very nervous about starting again. The team at Head Start Day Nursery Enfield were absolutely brilliant in settling her in and she was raring to go immediately after her first settling in session. I feel that the nursery is a very caring place and the energy is great. The teachers all look very happy to be there. I would highly recommend.

My son has been at Head Start Day Nursery Enfield for over two years now, from when he turned a year old. The staff have been consistently brilliant from then until now, from reassuring an uneasy mother going back to work, to taking such good care of my son. The staff are very welcoming, the children are happy, cared for and the nursery setting and it's outdoor space are fantastic. There is never an issue for parking either. I cannot praise Head Start Day Nursery Enfield enough for the support and care they have given my son.

Starting our child at a nursery during a pandemic and returning to work after maternity leave was a very stressful experience but Head Start Day Nursery Enfield made the transition as easy as it could ever be. We have been so impressed by the strong leadership team who have enabled us to feel safe in the knowledge that our daughter is well looked after and our needs as parents are always addressed without judgement and always in a professional way. My daughter’s key person and baby room and toddler room staff are so caring, friendly and seem to genuinely like our child. Our little one is so happy every morning when she arrives at nursery and the communication with us is always brilliant. Any issue we have had or any concern we have raised is dealt with promptly. We have one hundred percent confidence and couldn’t be happier. Considering the difficult year, the staff team always have a smile on their face and seem to really enjoy their work. We would recommend Head Start Day Nursery Enfield to all our friends!

Our son has been attending Head Start Day Nursery Enfield for three years and he has always enjoyed nursery. He looks forward to seeing staff and peers and has always spoken fondly of his key workers. When he attended as a baby, his needs were always met by the very attentive staff. In all of the rooms, the staff pay great attention to really getting to know your child, making them comfortable and building their confidence as they move through the nursery. We liked that the children make the transition to the preschool rooms as this has helped prepare our son for primary school. The activities planned engage and challenge him and when he comes home, how he tells us about the variety of tasks they have completed. Staff welcome you to share with them the learning taking place in other environments, so that they can build on this within the nursery setting. The use of the app has enabled parents to engage more thoroughly with the learning through regular updates and photos. A great nursery!
