The nursery have really helped my daughter flourish. She enjoys every day and has made some lovely friends and has strong relationships with her carers. Most of all, she has fun!

All three of my children have been wonderfully cared for at the nursery. The staff have been so caring. The children have all loved their time at the nursery. We are so grateful to all of the staff there. The management of the nursery is excellent.

My daughter has been at Bright Horizons, Bickley, full time since she was a baby. She is now in toddlers and still loves her teachers. She has learnt so much there and we are encouraged by her progress. The environment is fun and I highly recommend putting your children in the nursery.

Bickley is a wonderful nursery. The staff are happy and friendly and our son feels safe and secure. She has had a wonderful time and learned so much. The nursery is well run and we would recommend it to anyone.

A lovely nursery. Very caring staff team. Professional and fun. My daughter attends full-time and loves the nursery. The food there is excellent. My wife and I believe our daughter eats better than we do! They do great activities here and keep the children well engaged.

My second child is about to follow my first into pre-school and I couldn’t be more delighted. My experience across the baby and toddler room offerings has been very positive but the pre-school team bring something special. They are engaged and supportive - understanding the needs and individual personality

There is always an illness going around the nursery. My child always comes home with painted clothes. Why are aprons not provided with the amount of money I pay monthly. When my child gets sick because he picks up the illness from school you expect us to keep him off and still pay! Food provided needs
to be what children would eat. Pasta, nuggets, fishmonger, etc.
I don’t believe my child has his nappy changed enough. I don’t like that the code for the nursery door is just handed out.

My child attended this nursery for a number of years and during this time it went rapidly downhill. The nursery staff were hard working and engaged in educational activities but it was poorly run with room closures due to staff absence on a regular basis. Updates on children are limited and pictures
weekly. I expected more from a big nursery that charges significant fees.

My daughter has attended the nursery since July and every single week there has been a shortage of staff meaning that they have had to close her room (at very short notice), leaving me to make alternative childcare which has not always been possible, or they cannot open at the times they are advertised
to be open. The staff sickness and shortages are not Covid related. I work in a school and cannot work from home, so on each occasion, I have had to call my Head Teacher to say that I am having childcare issues. I was advised by the Regional Manager that I didn't have to stay at the nursery and I was welcome to leave if I wasn't happy. This is not true because there are no other nurseries that are local to me. I would not recommend this nursery if you are looking for reliable consistent childcare and their inability to recruit and retain staff is having a detrimental impact on my work and the school I work at.

The staff at Bright Horizons Bickley Day Nursery and Preschool are wonderful and very caring. Our daughter has been attending here since January 2018 and has learnt and developed so much. Our son has also been attending the nursery at Bright Horizons Bickley Day Nursery and Preschool since September
2020 and has settled in very well. A big ‘thank you’ to all the preschool and nursery staff. in particular two members of staff from the preschool room and two members of staff from the baby room.

My little boy has been at Bright Horizons Bickley since February 2019 and we are very happy with the care and he has received. The girls in toddlers have done an amazing job in settling him back into the nursery after the lockdown had finished which made us as parents feel happy and comfortable in leaving

My son is currently in Baby One and all the staff in there have been amazing helping him settle in so well! He’s always happy here, always doing different activities and I can tell how well looked after he is by how happy he is when I pick him up at the end of the day! I only have nice things to say

My daughter is now in preschool having started in Baby 2 and has absolutely loved her time here. The staff have been amazingly supportive and encouraging with each stage of her development. There's great variation in their meals each week, which is great.
Our youngest will be joining the nursery next
month and I know she'll also been in superb hands.

The teachers of this school are very attentive and engaging. They show a real interest in the children and have always been very informative about how our child has got on during the day. My little girl absolutely loves coming to 'school', her key workers are absolutely great with her, very patient and hard working. We have been here just over a year and the ladies in Toddler 1 and 2 have been fantastic, from cloth nappies right through potty training. My little girl has developed and

Our experience at Bright Horizons Bickley has been excellent. The amount of care and love that the save have shown towards our child is immense. She took quite a bit of time to settle but the staff were extremely patient and helpful in not only making her settle but also helping us parents to 'settle'.
With no other family in the UK, we certainly feel like we have found an extended family with Bright Horizons Bickley. Thank you for all the help and the impact you have made on our small family.

The 5-star rating can simply be given just by watching our daughter's excitement and happiness when it's time to go to preschool. I believe over time she has gained so much confidence and really improved her general perception and understanding of various things. Teachers are always willing to listen
to your concerns and respond to your child's individual struggles. I feel reassured and calm that during her stay at preschool our daughter gets the best care, support and encouragement.

My daughter has been attending Bright Horizons Bickley Day Nursery for several months now. She started in Baby Room 2 and is now in the Toddler Room. My daughter really struggled to settle into nursery which I found hard as a first-time mum! Staff went above and beyond to book in further settling in
sessions, give regular feedback, offer my daughter alternative food/toys/activities to make her more comfortable and were generally very patient and supportive. Fast forward a few months and my daughter has progressed to the next room, eats and plays well and has developed physically/mentally/emotionally amazingly well! I am so proud of my daughter's achievements to date and thank Bright Horizons for the role they have played. As I'm currently expecting my second baby, I know he/she will be just as well looked after at this nursery as my first.

Our son has been at Bright Horizons Bickley since he was 9 months and we could not be happier. He loves going to the nursery and would run off into the room. The activities are creative and encourage learning. Staff are lovely and caring. Our little boy has SEN (speech and language delay) and this was
picked up and referred to specialists/therapists at an early stage and we have seen huge progress with proactive early intervention in place. We really appreciate that keyworkers and carers go out of their way to cater for our boy and help him with his developmental delays and make sure he feels included. Our boys show a lot of affection to his keyworkers and carers - a clear sign he is happy and feels secure. A friendly and professional nursery would highly recommend!

Hi, my name is Kirsty and I am the Nursery Manager of Bright Horizons Bickley.


I started my journey at Bickley Bright Horizons in 2013 as a Room leader, I slowly worked my way up until I became Nursery manager in 2017. Since becoming a Manager the role has given me the opportunity to use my knowledge and skills gained previously in supporting the staff teams and help to create an environment for the children to thrive in.


I took a short break career break in 2018 and 2020 to have my daughter and son.


My passion has always been to guide each child to reach their full potential and I feel blessed that I get to make an impact on their lives at the most important time of their development.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Hi my name is Yasmin and I am the Deputy at Bickley Day Nursery and Preschool.


I started working for Bright Horizons in 2021. I have over 17 years’ experience in Early Years and Montessori nurseries it has taught me the value of each individual as a unique being - full of potential and character. All they need is someone to support their growth, and my passion is to help them release their potential. I believe children should be given a chance, and by helping them to develop their skills and making learning fun for them they will want to learn more. I have also developed strong skills in supporting young children, and am genuinely passionate about providing the best child care and play experiences. I have a strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, SEND, Makaton with knowledge of the Montessori and forest school curriculum and a good knowledge of relevant polices and legislation. I have worked with lots of different families and professionals along the way.


I consider myself as a hardworking and self-motivated individual who enjoys facing challenges and finding a professional way to deal with them.


Working in Childcare has been rewarding and with my bubbly and loving personality, I hope to bring energy and fun, along with interpersonal skills to the organisation.
