All of the nursery staff are really nice and kind, they are all really helpful, especially the staff in the toddler room, really helping me to settle my toddler into the room. Even though she goes in upset she does calm down and goes off to play with the help of the staff. The managers are also really
helpful and kind and try to help you out in any way possible. Overall great nursery, great staff, great environment, happy, lovely and kind staff.

The environment was clean and all staff were engaging with the children in different activities. All children were happy and taking part. Since joining the nursery, my son has thrived and has learned so much in a short period of time. Would definitely recommend the nursery.

My little girl loves coming to Bickley Nursery and is always happy to go to any of the staff in her room. I love seeing all the different activities they get up to in the week. My little girl loves the wide range of food they get and it's great to know she's trying different foods. The staff are all
so warm and caring which helps to know she is being looked after so well. My little girl has learnt so much in the four months she has been there.

We recently moved our 3-year-old son to Bright Horizons from another nursery and we couldn't be happier with our decision. From day 1, the whole team have been so welcoming and my son is loving the wide range of amazing activities and facilities. I'm really enjoying seeing all the pictures and feedback
via the app, and my son loves to look at the pictures too and tell me about his days.

Since joining Bright Horizons we have been welcomed and supported by many lovely staff. Even though our daughter took a while to settle in, we could see she was having lots of fun throughout the day with a wide variety of activities. We have been especially impressed with the cooking/food-related activities.
The outside space is also very big, which is great for our daughter in particular as she loves the outdoors. It would be great if they did visits outside of the nursery.

We are delighted with the care our one-year-old is receiving at Bright Horizons Bickley. All the staff are wonderful, caring and hands-on to provide comfort and support. Our little one has settled so well and is so happy at nursery. The baby room staff have made every effort to get to know our baby,
their cues, needs and personality. The observations and updates are detailed and a highlight for us to read. The chef has got our fussy eater enjoying a range of cuisines too. Highly recommend this nursery!

Our son settled in really well at Bright Horizons Bickley and the staff have been excellent in helping him adjust to nursery life. It has been wonderful to see him so affectionate towards the staff and they have been great at offering him a variety of different activities to help him develop.

Bickley Bright Horizons has been brilliant in the support and development of my son since he was 10 months old. He is now 2-years-old and his speech, counting and sentence making is brilliant. The staff, particularly his key worker is kind, caring and always supportive and helpful. My son has made really
strong bonds with the staff and always enjoys his days there. He eats all his meals, has consistent naps, and most importantly has lots of fun, I would highly recommend them. Thank you.

Very happy with Bright Horizons Bickley. The staff are friendly, hardworking and caring. The communication is excellent through the app and emails. Lots of fun activities for the kids. They recently refurbished and improved the outdoor play area, which our little one absolutely enjoys.

We are extremely pleased with Bright Horizons Bickley.
The team are brilliant. They look after our 3-year-old boy very well. They nurture him but also challenge him. They are supportive and caring. The management team do a great job and the chef makes a difference. Everybody gets beyond their remit
to make this nursery great for the children.
The facilities are perfect, especially the new garden.
It could not be better, thank you!

Really happy with the nursery. Very impressed with how tidy the setting is between play and feels like a very safe setting. I really like the app which gives a clear overview of their day and what they have eaten. The staff have all been very friendly and can't do enough for you, I'm very confident

My child has been at the nursery since February 2021. He has always been so happy to go since he started. I have been happy with all the key workers.
Following Covid there were specific rules in place to safeguard the staff and children. Since Covid I feel rules should be recommunicated as it’s unclear
if we can go into the rooms and garden.
Things like sickness policies should be easily accessible to ensure we are always doing the right thing.
The updates received on the app are always a highlight of my day. I enjoy seeing the pictures and videos.
It would be good to see more of what they eat during the day to try and replicate favourite meals at home.
Prices are a concern if they continue to rise but I understand that this is a result of general price rises.

My daughter started in Bickley in October 2022 and she absolutely loves it. The staff are so good with her and helped her settle in easily. She has become more confident and sociable when outside of nursery. The only downfall I do have, is that there seems to be no exclusion periods for certain illnesses
which my daughter tends to catch and then isn't able to come to nursery, but other than that I am very happy and waiting to see if my daughter can up her days, so she does two.

The staff in my son's baby room are amazing. The love and care they show for him is incredible. He loves nursery and has never got upset going, since day one. He has really bonded with his keyworker. I feel like he is very advanced for his age in terms of speaking and I put that down to the nursery.

Hi, my name is Kirsty and I am the Nursery Manager of Bright Horizons Bickley.


I started my journey at Bickley Bright Horizons in 2013 as a Room leader, I slowly worked my way up until I became Nursery manager in 2017. Since becoming a Manager the role has given me the opportunity to use my knowledge and skills gained previously in supporting the staff teams and help to create an environment for the children to thrive in.


I took a short break career break in 2018 and 2020 to have my daughter and son.


My passion has always been to guide each child to reach their full potential and I feel blessed that I get to make an impact on their lives at the most important time of their development.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Hi my name is Yasmin and I am the Deputy at Bickley Day Nursery and Preschool.


I started working for Bright Horizons in 2021. I have over 17 years’ experience in Early Years and Montessori nurseries it has taught me the value of each individual as a unique being - full of potential and character. All they need is someone to support their growth, and my passion is to help them release their potential. I believe children should be given a chance, and by helping them to develop their skills and making learning fun for them they will want to learn more. I have also developed strong skills in supporting young children, and am genuinely passionate about providing the best child care and play experiences. I have a strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, SEND, Makaton with knowledge of the Montessori and forest school curriculum and a good knowledge of relevant polices and legislation. I have worked with lots of different families and professionals along the way.


I consider myself as a hardworking and self-motivated individual who enjoys facing challenges and finding a professional way to deal with them.


Working in Childcare has been rewarding and with my bubbly and loving personality, I hope to bring energy and fun, along with interpersonal skills to the organisation.
