Brightsparks Day Nursery, Selsdon

We have had a wonderful experience with Brightsparks Day Nursery, Selsdon. After joining through a recommendation from a friend we couldn't be happier with our son's experience here. I was very apprehensive to put him in a nursery (18 months old) but the team not only reassured me but also developed a lovely relationship with my son, giving me the confidence that I needed as a mum. They have a very homely and welcoming atmosphere always catering to my son's dietary requirements and individual needs. My son is also T1 diabetic and they have been fantastic in learning to manage his condition. This is no easy feat and not many people can manage this as well as they have. Can't recommend this nursery enough, we will be sending our second child here too!

Brightsparks Day Nursery Selsdon have been amazing since day 1! After viewing many nurseries in preparation for going back to work, this nursery was by far the best. Our daughter has been attending since the age of 10 months and is now nearly 4. She is extremely happy at nursery and is always excited to tell us about her day. We are always greeted into a warm and welcoming environment. The care provided is exceptional and the staff are fantastic. Our 1 year old son has now started attending the nursery and although we knew he would find it difficult to settle, we are completely at ease as we know he is in good hands! Thank you for everything Brightsparks Day Nursery Selsdon, we look forward to continuing our journey with you!

My son attended Brightsparks in Selsdon from age 1 to 2 years old, until we had to move on due to moving to a new town. We were very sad about having to leave such a brilliant, engaging, welcoming family of staff and in that short year at Brightsparks, he learnt so much. Not just in terms of learning milestones, but in terms of being a kind and caring person, and that is down to the excellent staff at Brightsparks, Selsdon. We miss them lots and would recommend the nursery over and over! A great start to a little person's life.

I was quite anxious with my daughter settling into the baby room at 13 months old. But soon after her settling in period, a week or two later, my little one appeared to settle in well. Her key carer and the rest of the staff are fantastic, friendly and attentive and my little one really enjoys her time at nursery!

Great facilities, knowledgeable and caring staff and great curriculum/activities for children. My daughter loves attending this nursery, which makes me happy! The staff and management have put a lot of time and effort into my daughter's development, which was curtailed due to Covid. I am so grateful for this. Thank you.

My daughter has attended Brightsparks Day Nursery, Selsdon since she was 2 years old. (She is about to start reception this September). The manager and staff are second to none. My daughter was very well looked after, so I was at ease dropping her off every morning, knowing she will be in good hands. She has grown to be a very chatty and confident little girl thanks to the staff. She runs off to meet the nursery teachers each morning as well as asking on a weekend whether she is going to nursery today. It is a very well managed nursery with plenty of care for the children in an environment where they can thrive. Thank you so much Brightsparks Selsdon team! You will be hugely missed.

Choosing a nursery for your child is such a big scary decision but we are very sure we made the right choice with the team at Brightsparks. Every single staff member we have come in contact with has been so so lovely and they care for the children so well. Our daughter's confidence has grown so much since being there after what has been a very strange year. The updates on the app are great, you get to see little parts of their day as well as the general what they eat and how they sleep info. The team were really reassuring to me as my daughter settled too. It can be tough getting used to leaving your little one with other people but they happily took time out of their day to update me every time I called to check in throughout the first few weeks. I cannot recommend this nursery enough

My daughter has been at Brightsparks Selsdon since she was seven months and is now in preschool, and we could not be happier with the care that all the staff at this nursery have given her. They have been a massive part of her growing into the smart and confident child she is now, and we cannot praise them enough for how good a job they do, particularly during the past year which has been especially stressful. We would 100% recommend Brightsparks Selsdon to any new parents looking for a nursery.

I have been so impressed with Brightsparks from the beginning of my son attending. They have all been so welcoming, friendly and I get a genuine sense they care deeply about my son's wellbeing and the fact that he has fun when he is with them. I love getting updates on their app, with videos, photos and comments on what he's been getting up to. They are thorough in their communication and reporting any incidents whilst reassuring me that everything is ok too. Thank you so much Brightsparks.

Brightsparks has started to use the app, which allows us to see next steps, observations which are carried out weekly - this includes pictures and is mapped to the early year's foundation. This has been amazing to see! Plus you can upload your own pics and info to share!

This is a wonderful nursery where our son has spent a very happy three years. We can't recommend it highly enough. The staff are warm, caring, attentive, and the environment is engaging and stimulating.

As a family, we have been with Brightsparks Selsdon for 7 years. Both my daughters have thrived from attending here and I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone. Sad to be leaving when our youngest starts ‘big school’ in September.

My first daughter attended Brightsparks Day Nursery, Selsdon so there was no doubt in my mind to send my second who is there now. She has come on leaps and bounds since starting at 10 months old. My daughter loves the girls, she talks about them all the time. They make me feel confident and comfortable leaving my daughter there as I know she will be looked after. They do a number of different activities including sing & sign which my daughter loves! Fantastic nursery!

My sons love nursery thanks to all the wonderful staff. They all do an amazing job and are constantly looking at ways to help develop the children’s needs.
