Brightsparks Day Nursery, Selsdon

My niece has developed exceptionally well since attending this nursery, her speech, understanding and overall communication has improved. I believe brightsparks has had a postive impact on her life and wellbeing.

We've had a really positive experience with the nursery. The staff are kind, caring and always welcoming, which has made us feel very comfortable and confident leaving our child in their care. There are lots of opportunities for learning and development, and we've seen our child grow in confidence and learn so much since starting.

Our daughter settled into Brightsparks quickly in June, just before turning 1. It is a warm, nurturing baby room and she has now happily moved up to the toddler room. She loves going and has good bonds with staff. They do fun, creative activities with the children and strike a good balance between updating parents and focusing on the children. We highly recommend this nursery.

Brightsparks has played such a special part in her early years, and we were so sad to see her leave. At the same time, we are excited that her little brother has started attending there, which I think says everything about how highly we think of the nursery and its amazing staff.

We've been so happy with the care and support our daughter has received at the Brightsparks Selsdon. The staff are so kind, caring and attentive, and it's clear how much they genuinely care about her wellbeing and development.

We've seen such a positive change in her since she started, particularly with her speech and communication. She has also grown in confidence and has really enjoyed building friendships and relationships with the other children.

We really appreciate the wide variety of activities and the varied curriculum, which keeps her engaged, interested and learning through play and new experiences.

It's lovely to see how happy she is going into nursery, and we feel very reassured knowing she is so well cared for. We couldn't be happier with her progress and the support from the team.

A very well run nursery, fantastic staff and environment, extremely child centric and brilliant at keeping us updated and involved through their app, communications and days where parents are invited in (such as Mother's and Father's Day celebrations and sports day).

Our first week with Brightsparks - we picked our 21 month old daughter up at the end of each day this week and found her smiling ear-to-ear on every occasion. We love the updates throughout the day (app) and it is clear thatshe is learning from the activities her class are doing - such as coming home practising her "please" and "thank yous". In general, we have found that her already quite advanced for her age language development has gone even further. She has come home saying more complex sentences such as "put this one in the boat as well" (in the bath today) which is really impressive. Her key worker is very amenable and gives her a really lovely send off and us a clear detailed debrief at the end of each day. Comms from the senior staff have been great. From our experiences so far we would definitely recommend this nursery!

Amazing team who really care about all of the children. Our son was in tears going to his previous nursery but he absolutely loves going here. The difference between settings and our child's happiness has been night and day. Always a variety of activities and excellent communication with parents. 100% recommend.

Our little boy has been attending Brightsparks now for the past two years starting off in little stars room and will soon be going into the pre-school. Over these years it has been amazing to watch him grow and develop his skills. The staff are all incredible friendly and it a joy to watch the bond he has with his key workers as well as his friends. The food menu offer so much variety and it good to know he eats a good balance meal. Shortly out daughter will be starting and again we cant wait to see how she will develop all thanks to help of Brightsparks. Plus I love the app they use it so easy to use to get in touch with them as well as seeing pictures off them during the day so you know how they are getting on.

Brightsparks Nursery is a conducive learning and nuturing environment, especially for my one-year old. The staff there are very motherly and they go out of their way to make every child happy! Placing our child in this nursery is the best decision my wife and I have ever made!

We've been with Brightsparks Selsdon since 2019 and both of our daughters have gone here - it's been such a great experience. The staff are great and many have stayed during this time. My youngest is currently there and her key worker, Nick, has been fantastic - I honestly couldn't recommend him more. It's lovely knowing she's in such good hands every day!

My daughter has been with Brightsparks for some months now and we can't be happier with the care and service provided. Having had a tough start to nursery life with another nursery, we have found Brightsparks to be super welcoming and informative. Our daughter is excited to come in and has improved in a few areas we had concerns around.

I am so grateful to all the staff at Brightsparks who have supported my son throughout his journey at Brightsparks. Not only for my son but they have all been incredibly supportive to me, navigating the transition back to work and leaving him from the first time to the ongoing challenges of being a working parent and supporting a toddler! They keep in regular contact and I find the updates so so reassuring. Another great example of going above and beyond is the time and effort put into the special events for Father's and Mother's day. It was a lovely afternoon and i do not under estimate the planning involved.

Our son has attended nursery from 10 months of age to 4.5 years. He is now leaving for primary school. He has had a brilliant experience throughout. In the younger rooms, the level of care and attention was exceptional and helped our son feel really safe and cared for. In the older rooms, the breadth and variety of activities kept him super engaged and helped him make accelerated progress. He has made really strong friendships with the children he has grown up alongside and the staff have always been very caring and kind. We would recommend Brightsparks Selsdon to anyone looking for a nursery for their little one.

The staff all know the children well and show an excellent level of care to all of them. Our daughter has brought lots of fun ways to remember things home and clearly loves to be there. Even when she's been unwell she's asked if she can go in to see her friends.

Both of my children attend Brightsparks Day Nursery Selsdon and I can't recommend it enough. The staff go above and beyond to get to know the children and their interests. The activities are varied, educational, fun, age-appropriate and fit with the kids' interests as well as seasonal themes. The food is great and my children always come home happy! The management is amazing too with approachable friendly staff and great communication.

I can honestly say that our child has loved this nursery from her very first settling in day. She has never cried to go in and she generally has great days. One year in and we are still delighted with the nurture and care and the progress our child has made. There are the normal bugs/fevers that go around which can be frustrating as a working mum, but it's always handled with empathy and with the child's best interest at heart. We get on with the whole team and they are keen to work with us and helped us identify an intolerance. For our child, it really is a home away from home.
