Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Cheam

Our twins started attending this nursery when they were 14 months old, and it has become such an important part of their lives. The staff genuinely take the time to understand each child as an individual, paying close attention to their unique personalities, needs, and developmental stages.

We particularly appreciate how much outdoor play and exploration are incorporated into the daily routine. The communication with parents is also excellent - the team is always responsive, approachable, and willing to discuss any questions or concerns.

Over the years, we have seen our children grow in confidence, develop new skills, and build strong relationships with both staff and friends. Most importantly, we know they are in a caring, safe, and nurturing environment where their wellbeing and development are truly valued. We are very grateful to the whole team and would highly recommend this nursery to other families.

My son has attended Nuffy Bear since January 2026, and prior to that my daughter was there from age one until starting reception. We literally couldn't be happier with the nursery - I think the very low turnover in staff speaks volumes. There's such a lovely family feel there and you can just tell that the staff genuinely care about all the children. My son has additional needs and they are so wonderful with him and really help him to make progress. Knowing he's happy there makes such a difference. And I suppose the biggest compliment I can give is that leaving my son at Nuffy feels the same as him being looked after my a member of my family or a close friend. Thank you to all the staff for making Nuffy such a special nursery.

We've had nothing short of a fantastic experience with Nuffy Bear since our daughter joined in Oct 2025. The level of care, kindness and empathy shown by the staff is outstanding. Our daughter attended another nursery prior to joining Nuffy Bear and the difference between the two is night and day. Our daughter is currently in the Baby Room which is a clean, well presented and tidy space. The room never feels over stretched, has lovely natural light and genuinely seems like a really pleasant environment for the children to spend their time in. She is involved with many creative activities which the staff are tasked with thinking of on a daily basis and her development has come on leaps and bounds. The staff are exceptional and it's clear to see just how much they care for the children. Communication is always thorough, no request is ever too much and the staff are genuinely lovely people who are passionate about the nursery. Our daughter heads to nursery smiling.

My son has attended Nuffy nursery for 18 months and we are beyond pleased with the care he receives and the progress he has made.

For a long time he really struggled with drop-offs but the team were so kind, patient and creative with helping him through these transitions and he now willingly walks in to nursery and is even excited to leave the house some mornings!

My son has made great relationships with the staff and his peers. The Nuffy team has supported my son with great kindness and patience through key milestones and we would (and have) made recommendations to other parents looking for childcare.

The daily activities are creative and thoughtful, following curriculum guidance. The team are professional and the management is excellent. I couldn't ask for better provision.

Our baby has been attending Nuffy Bear Day Nursery in Cheam since October after our friends recommended it. We are very pleased we chose it. Since day one, the manager and her team have been fantastic! They are very friendly, approachable and always communicate with us on how our daughter is getting on. We get so many updates via the app on all of the lovely activities they have been doing, the skills she has been working on and her next steps. She has learnt so much already! The party in the baby room at Christmas was brilliant. Parents and family members were invited and it was lovely to see her so at home in the nursery setting! We highly recommend this nursery.

We have had an absolutely wonderful experience with Nuffy Bear Nursery. My daughter has been attending since she was just 9 months old, and she is now 2 years old, and I honestly couldn't be happier with the care and support she has received.

I have been involved recently in picking up and dropping off my grandchild and I can't express how grateful I am to the nursery and the staff there. The way I see my grandson jump into their arms and look at them will always give me that reassurance. I have experienced a few other nurseries with other children in the family and never have I experienced the way they do their events, there Mother's Day was amazing and I'm looking forward to seeing the Easter bonnet parade! And I always express how my grandson goes and supports the community by going and visit the people in independent living! Absolutely incredible, highly recommend!

My nephew attends the nursery and I have always had a lovely experience and they have always checked who I am and did the security measures which I think I think is so crucial. He is always so happy and content when I collect him.

All the staff are very attentive and provide lots of fun and stimulating activities for the little ones. We get frequent updates on the activities and progress, which is very useful. My daughter loves attending the nursery, and I'm very happy with the care she's given.

My son attends Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Cheam and the staff are all caring and loving as well as being attentive. Their approach benefits the individual child and I have seen such a positive outcome, such as what they do for the community, they have just done caroling in a care home and it was such an amazing experience.

Our son started at Nuffy Bear at the beginning of the summer after we moved areas, he had only been in the nursery for a few months before the move so it was a period of lots of change and upheaval for him and the nursery has given him the consistency he needed, whilst also providing a really happy, stimulating environment. He looks forward to going each morning (barely looking back to say goodbye to us!) and comes home every night happy. All the staff seem to genuinely care for the children, the updates are plentiful and his development has come on leaps and bounds since he started. We couldn't be happier.

My child started at Nuffy Bear Cheam in July 2024 and 2 months in, he has completely settled in. Going into the nursery door every morning with big smiles. The workers are tentative and loving. Nothing is ever a big problem. They helped him transition so smoothly and we get photos and updates throughout the day which really help to feel connected. Would highly recommend it!

My son spent over 3 years attending Nuffy Bears in Cheam. He started as a 9-month-old and is now leaving as a happy four-year-old, fully equipped and ready to start school. I cannot thank the staff at Nuffy Bears enough for all their support and care over the last 3 and a bit years. My child required special attention in his early years for medical issues relating to feeding, which meant he needed one-to-one attention during feeding. Nuffy Bears provided this without hesitation and his key worker provided me with detailed feedback which put my mind at ease. This was so important to me, especially during the baby and early toddler phase. The nursery benefits from having a fully engaged and excellent manager who runs the nursery well. The tasks that the children do are interesting and varied.

My daughter spent 1.5 years in Nuffy Bear, and she loves her nursery very much! The nursery has a good number of staff who are young and energetic, they play with kids, have read with them and take good care of them. My daughter was not toilet trained at the beginning, nursery staff will change her nappy every day. Every week they have different themes to learn about, the activities and nursery setting will change according to the theme of that week. They use Nuffield Health's large football field as their garden so kids have a huge outside space to play. They offer a free swimming lesson for all nursery kids every week, using the on-site indoor swimming pool. Considering the quality of care, facilities and activities they offer, the nursery fee I believe is very reasonable, cheaper than some other private nurseries, and they don't charge any registration fee. They have free parking on site. They update the app frequently with news and photos. Thank you to all the staff in Nuffy Bear!

I can't recommend it highly enough.

He has made good friends and loves going to nursery. Their app is user-friendly and it is updated regularly so I am aware of his food, nap times, play time etc.
