Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Surbiton

Always happy with the staff at Nuffy Bear. They are exceptionally welcoming and I trust that they care for my child. I feel they try to get to know the family and are familiar with all members.

There were many occasions when they all went out of their way to ensure our son is happy and well looked after while in their care. Our son is happy and always looking forward to seeing his friends again.

The behaviour management is fair and firm, with clear expectations which leads to a calm, happy environment where children can feel secure. The occasional after session general meetings for staff to explain their philosophy and approaches to parents are interesting and helpful. The visiting Zoolab provide extended experiences and my granddaughter is looking forward to the swimming sessions.

Messy play is very messy but full of learning and fun. Our child is developing well in the nursery environment.

We had to change nursery for our daughter so she would be closer to my workplace and I was very worried about how she would settle into a new environment especially mid-term but the Nuffy Bear staff have been amazing with the transition for my daughter. They are all so nurturing, warm and caring. We have regular catch ups on how she is doing and what she has been up to during the day. It feels lovely to come back to a very happy child at the end of the day because a happy child means happy parents. My daughter loves going to nursery, she enjoys all the activities they do, especially her ballet class. Also, they seem to have a lot of food available during the day, as my daughter always tells me about all the yummy food she has had for either snack, lunch or tea. We are extremely happy with how they have helped our daughter settle in and make her feel very welcome.

Overall I am happy with my daughter attending Nuffy Bear.

Our children are so happy at the nursery and are very close to the teachers. The staff have been amazing in the way they help and support the children to accomplish their development needs and very personable. Also having a younger sibling at the nursery, the staff have been so accommodating to both the children's needs and ours as a family, allowing them time together if possible. Everyone is always so happy to help!

I would definitely recommend Nuffy Bear to prospective parents. My son always has a great time there, is well looked after and fed and sleeps well.

This nursery is great. My son has attended for 18 months and the new manager has created a happy, vibrant environment which he thrives in. From trips out to friendly, happy and enthusiastic staff to great food and lots of new parental engagement opportunities - it's fab. No nursery is perfect and it's never easy leaving your most precious cargo in someone else's care. But Nuffy Bear make it easier and give us peace of mind as we head off to work every day.

Nuffy Bear nursery has continued to grow into a beautiful nursery. My daughter is very happy here. The nursery staff put on such a variety of activities alongside the wider Nuffield Health onsite opportunities including swimming and yoga.

Our daughter has attended Nuffy Bear Surbiton since July 2015. We have found Nuffy to have been an excellent choice. The day to day staff are extremely polite, considerate and caring. The management is very proactive and go beyond the basic Ofsted educational requirements. Children's learning progress, development and performance are closely monitored to ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements and to ensure the children are satisfying their needs. Nuffy also provides a range of extracurricular activities that the children partake in (ballet, computer lessons, drama, etc.), in addition to complimentary swimming lessons.

There are often external excursions arranged to supplement the educational context. Parents are effectively communicated to in relation to day to day and planned activities. Parents also have the ability to influence the running of the nursery via membership to the 'Parents Committee'. The quality and quantity of food is also excellent and is monitored for dietary requirements in accordance with UK best practice.

Our daughter has flourished and loves attending. Under the new manager (since July 2017), Nuffy has improved 100%, I would now recommend it to the most discerning parents.

My son has been attending Nuffy Bears since he was six months old and is now two and a half. He has loved all of the different rooms he has been in due to the staff who are all fantastic and wonderful with the children. The nursery has a great focus on developing the children through a wide variety of engaging and fun activities. This includes singing sessions, special visitors (this week was a visit from the reptile zoo), IT classes, games and visits to places such as the library, park and local theatre. It is also great to know that my son is getting homemade, delicious and healthy food made by the nursery chef.

Very friendly staff who love the kids and make their day. However outside space is very limited and kids never go on outings.

Both my daughters have attended this nursery since the age of one and they absolutely love it! The variety of activities is amazing and they learn so many things that I would not have even thought about at home. The staff are really caring, flexible if you need extra hours occasionally and have a lovely bond with all the children. They get lots of outdoor and messy play and I particularly like the swimming for the older children which is included in the rate, as well as optional other activities such as ballet and ball skills. The hours are good although I would prefer a 7:30 start. I feel this is a very good value nursery with excellent dedicated staff and I will be very sad when my children outgrow it.

Our daughter has been attending nursery since she was 15 months old and always looks forward to going... bouncing up the stairs with a big smile on her face and a spring in her step. She enjoys all the activities: in particular the arts and crafts, singing and dancing, and playing outdoors. The team are very professional, hard working, committed and a pleasure to deal with. They take time to smile and say hello to each child even if they are from a different classroom. The nursery is a bright, fun environment with lots of learning and development aids and provides good home made food. Overall we are very reassured that our daughter is happy and well cared for by a great team of people in a safe, warm and happy nursery.
