Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Surbiton

We have been extremely happy with this nursery and all the lovely and caring staff. Our son has been in the nursery for about a year and he has developed so much. We used to have quite big problems with his eating but the nursery has really helped us with this and it improved a lot. His communication skills also developed very well thanks to them. The staff are really warm, friendly and with an attention to detail for each child. We are moving house and will be very sad to leave them. Thank you.

My children attended Nuffy Bear Nursery throughout the lockdown. I was really impressed with the high standard of care received throughout. The staff were all very attentive to the children, they engaged well, and it was clear through the feedback I got from the children daily, that the staff had spent a lot of time interacting with them. I never had any concerns leaving my children. The daily feedback to parents was excellent, and the management team were all outstanding. I would highly recommend this nursery to any prospective parent.

The Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Surbiton team cared for both our 4-year old for a year, as well as our 6-month old twins for about 4 months, before us moving to North London for work. The nursery space is beautiful and very clean, with the additional bonus of a small playground/garden where the children were able to get fresh air on a daily basis. The staff are experienced, hard-working, pleasant and organised. We had no problems at all and all three children were happy overall. The team was also quick to implement new guidelines and precautions with the COVID19 pandemic. We would highly recommend.

She is already missing nursery though has walked away with some wonderful memories and a great start before school. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

The management team were reliable and fantastic. They went the extra mile to accommodate our working needs during this time, even staying open an extra day so that my husband and I could be at work during Covid-19. Even after the lockdown ended, we kept our daughter on as she liked going so much! Thank you for helping us during this time, we would definitely recommend this nursery.

To have done all this with COVID precautions, bubbles and safeguarding to a new level is a true feat.

My daughter has just left Nuffy Bear to start school and has attended since she was 9 months old. Her older brother attended Nuffy Bear too and we couldn't recommend it highly enough. My children left Nuffy Bear with such brilliant memories, wonderful confidence in their ability to play and learn, have fun and make friends. Upon leaving Nuffy Bear they were both absolutely ready to start school with confidence and all credit to the brilliant team who cared for them here.

As new parents, we could not be happier that we chose Nuffy Bear Nursery, both the facilities but especially the staff have been outstanding. They really take the time to make sure they understand your child’s likes, dislikes and home routine and try to incorporate that at nursery, so both you and your baby feel happy and relaxed.

Would recommend this as a happy and safe environment for kids.

Amazing nursery. They are committed to getting the best out of your child. All staff take so much care to make sure your child is happy, learning and thriving. I literally can not recommend this nursery more. Our twins LOVE going in and always come home telling us about all the interesting things they have done - from making things to painting and dancing. The manager is exceptional, as are her staff (deputy and Key-worker!). Staff are always willing to talk about our children’s development and know everything about them. This is the place to send your kids.

My son has been at Nuffy Bear since he was 1.5 years old, he’s just left to start preschool at a school, and he was so sad to leave and constantly goes on about how he wants to stay in his class! I’m sending my little girl there as I know the staff are lovely and I would trust each and everyone on of them with my children! Such an amazing nursery, you won’t find better anywhere else!

Our son started with Nuffy Bear when he was seven months old and has now been there just over a year. We couldn't be happier with the staff and the nursery and they've been really supportive and helpful with getting him into a good routine, weaning, walking, talking and just generally getting him used to socialising with other children. He gets to do a wide variety of activities and whenever we have said there is something he is particularly interested in they have made sure to encourage him to do it while he is there. We are leaving due to a house move and it really is a massive shame that he can't stay with Nuffy Bear once we go. We would very much recommend this nursery!

Our daughter has sadly just left Nuffy Bear to attend a preschool closer to home. She was extremely sad to leave and still keeps asking about it. She had a wonderful couple of years there and really blossomed. The staff were always friendly and professional and I loved the daily update when I collected her about what she had been up to each day. Wonderful facilities with excellent food and a nice outdoor space. Would not hesitate to recommend to others looking for a nursery in the Surbiton area.

They each have a key person and get treated as individuals, which is so important for us. We are really glad we chose Nuffy Bear for our family.

My daughter has been at Nuffy Bear for nearly two years now and we couldn’t be happier with the staff and facilities. I would very much recommend this nursery.

Sadly our time at Nuffy Bears is coming to an end soon as we are leaving for school but I would highly recommend this nursery and would like to thank the manager and all the teachers in Busy Bees for caring for our daughter these past two years. We will miss you and be back to visit!

Our child has been going to Nuffy Bear since they were a baby and we have been happy with the nursery. There are some absolutely wonderful staff who really love the children and make them feel special. The facilities are nice and spacious, light and clean. The outside space could be bigger but it is well equipped and the children always seem to be having a great time there. The nursery puts a lot of emphasis on health and wellbeing, so activities including swimming and yoga are included, which is great. The food is healthy and varied and seems to go down well with the children. We've had good written records of our child's progress through the nursery and how they match up to EYFS targets. Our child has been encouraged and stimulated to learn both academically, socially and emotionally and is leaving nursery well equipped for school. Most importantly, she seems genuinely sad to be going.

Nuffy Bear is a very friendly and loving nursery. We've had two children attend over the last 4 and a half years and during that time we've seen how their changing emotional and developmental needs have been met. The nursery staff know all the children very well. They give plenty of cuddles but also encourage the development of skills like self-feeding, getting dressed, using the toilet, washing hands, and helping to tidy up. The fact the nursery is in a gym means that the over threes have swimming and yoga lessons included in the fees. This is great, and I am quite often made to try out their newly learnt yoga skills at home! Other activities like ballet and music are also offered. There is plenty of time spent outside in the garden and there are also frequent trips to the local park. Our son found the transition to school easy thanks to the great start he had here and I'm sure our daughter will do too – we’re just sad that the end of our time here is fast approaching.

I feel I receive wonderful feedback about my child and when attending parents evening I feel the staff know my child and know what they want and setting reasonable goals for her development. I also enjoy having a parent forum so the parents' opinions are involved and shared. They have monthly newsletters on the changes within the nursery and any events they are having. I feel welcomed when coming in and able to speak to the manager when wanted.
