Excellent nursery. Kids very happy here. Friendly and enthusiastic staff and good communication regarding how kids are getting on.

It has excellent facilities and activities, the food is great but the real highlight is the team and their commitment to care and to learning in a fun and innovative way.

An excellent provision, tailored to each child. Family feel throughout and outstanding management, they're always there to chat to. The facilities are second to none and our son is always keen to go!

Fantastic facilities, food and staff! Children’s care is at the heart of everything they do and lots of fun activities which are shared while you’re at work.

Couldn’t be happier with Elvington Little Green Rascals. My daughter adores going and has progressed so much so quickly thanks to the fabulous staff. The facilities are second to none. Thoroughly recommend.

What can I say this nursery is just a fabulous place. The staff are amazing the food surpasses anything I could cook at home. Varied, nutritious and delicious. The outdoor space is unlimited which was very important for us as our little one loves to be running around in the fresh air. The trips they take them on (Castleford Snodome, The access to the maze) the extracurricular activities like ballet and Tatty Bumpkin are amazing. My little one loves it there. I wish she could stay there for school!!

Little Green Rascals has a wonderful ethos centred on creating a family atmosphere and a nurturing environment. The children engage in so many wonderful activities and we particularly like the outdoor provision, especially the fact that the children wrap up and go out in all weathers! The level of care is excellent and the staff are conscientious and welcoming. The food is also excellent!

LGR Elvington is a fantastic nursery with a multitude of benefits for my 2 children. Seeing them grow and explore at the nursery and having an active outdoor experience has been amazing. Coupled with the great friendly staff there - it’s a winner!

The staff who have been our children's key workers are the main asset to this nursery. We love the forest school and the great food.

Elvington LGR is a brilliant nursery. We couldn’t be happier with the care our son is receiving. He loves coming to nursery and usually has extras of the delicious food that’s served up. The Famly app keeps us up to date with what he’s up to, and we feel really at ease leaving him in their care. Couldn’t recommend more.

Our little girl has been going to Little Green Rascals for the last 6 months. She absolutely loves it. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, it is like a big family. We would highly recommend this nursery.

Little Green Rascals was certainly the right choice for our little boy. One of the most difficult things in life is to find a provision that you can trust with your child. My wife and I are so pleased we chose Little Green Rascals, the staff and facilities are second to none. We certainly made the right choice and have 100% confidence that our son is in the right nursery for him and us. thank you.

Both of my boys have been to Little Green Rascals at Elvington. They have both thrived there and all the key workers they have had have been great and welcoming. The nursery has been very accommodating when I’ve needed changes in days. It’s lovely and clean and they are always spending money to keep it looking nice/fresh. The food is great and locally sourced and my boys have always eaten the varied menu. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Elvington. I’ll be sad once my youngest doesn’t go anymore.

My daughter is in the baby room, staff are wonderful and so helpful and particularly one member who has a loving bond with my daughter, they enjoy singing and painting and music making. I get regular updates on the family app which includes photos. My son is in Preschool and enjoys the Forest School days children can play and learn outdoors skills including making crafts with wood and cooking on a campfire - parents are invited to join the Forest School staff are really dedicated to providing children with a safe and fun forest space to learn and explore. Outdoor activities have been positive for our son as he often is shy in a large group. I attended a session on how to help our son with his sounds and reading which was useful and will hopefully be a stepping stone to school in Sept. Management were helpful when I was stuck for childcare and allowed me to take lieu days at short notice. The chef is friendly and encourages us to try the foods on his menu - all delicious and nutritious.

Moving from London to Yorkshire was a daunting prospect for many reasons but finding a new nursery was near the top of the list! Visiting Little Greens, I fell in love with it and even though they didn't have as much availability I had been hoping for, we signed up! My 3-year-old has been there for a year and my 1 year old started about 10 weeks ago, they love it, the environment is great, the food is delicious and the staff are lovely. Added bonuses are the amazing forest school facilities, regular day trips to the maze and other Yorkshire attractions, as well as regular opportunities for parents to come and visit or attend training sessions.

The communication is excellent and we love hearing about what activities have happened that day, as well as regular parent forums, stay and play sessions and open days for the families. The outside space and access to forest school and the maze is also brilliant. The meals and snacks they get are fantastic, varied and healthy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the nursery to others, they do a fantastic job and we couldn’t be happier.

Little Green Rascals has been absolutely brilliant for my boy. He started age 17 months after having a very bad experience at another nursery. He was nervous (as was I), and the staff really made him welcome and settle in. I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done! 18 months on from that and he still loves his days there, while I am confident leaving him. The outside space and forest school are perfect for him, and the food is amazing!
