My daughter joined Hendon Prep as soon as she turned three and spent two wonderful years in preschool. I honestly cannot thank the Early Years team and the school as a whole enough for the love, care, and support they have given her. They truly nurtured my daughter and prepared her so beautifully for

her school journey ahead. The Early Years staff are incredibly friendly, approachable, and supportive. They always make time for both children and parents, which makes such a difference. Communication between the school and parents is transparent, clear, and efficient, giving real reassurance that your child is in the best hands.The teachers clearly have a real passion for what they do and it truly shows. The activities are creative, engaging, and educational, and they have had a huge impact on developing my daughter's learning skills and confidence. The friendships between the children are also lovely to see and are so thoughtfully nurtured by the school.Absolutely amazing, thank you!!

Overall Experience

I currently have two sons at the school, and my three-year-old daughter joined them in September 2025. It has been a wonderful experience for her; she truly loves going to school and adores her teachers.

As a parent, I have always had a positive feeling when dropping my children off. It is such an

encouraging, optimistic, and supportive environment. I am particularly grateful for the support provided during my daughter's journey in becoming comfortable and confident with using the bathroom.

Overall Experience

Since joining Hendon Prep in September, our daughter has settled wonderfully into preschool and quickly become a valued part of the class. She approaches each day with curiosity, confidence, and a growing enthusiasm for new activities.

She is forming lovely friendships, engages well during group

time, and is developing her independence. Her imagination shines through in her play, and both her fine- and gross-motor skills are progressing steadily.

Socially and emotionally, she is flourishing - kind, cooperative, and increasingly confident in expressing her needs.

Overall, our daughter has made an excellent start, and we are delighted with her progress this term.

Overall Experience

Our son has made such incredible progress since joining Cumnor House. From day one, the support, understanding, and care shown by the staff have been outstanding.

The manager and her team have gone above and beyond to help Koa settle in and feel comfortable, and it's clear how much they genuinely

care about the children. Their proactive approach and communication with us as parents have made such a difference, especially as our son has additional needs.

Every professional we've met outside of school has commented on how well supported he is and how positive the school's involvement has been. We've seen huge improvements in his confidence, communication, and overall happiness.

We're so grateful to be part of a school that truly values inclusion and gets it right from the start.

Overall Experience

I don't get a clear answer from my child about what's happening at school, so I'm very grateful that they use the App to tell me about it through photos and text. I really enjoy looking at it. I hope they continue to update it frequently. I'm worried about whether my daughter is eating a proper lunch.

I'd be happy if they could somehow let the parents know how she's eating and what she's eating.

Putting our son into Clifton Lodge nursery was one of the best things we could have done! The two ladies are amazing teachers and they supported our son with everything he needed to grow and learn in his own way and we were so pleased with his progress! Overall Experience

We have been so impressed with the nursery at Clifton Lodge. My daughter looks forward to going into nursery everyday and has formed a lovely bond with the teachers and wider staff. It is great to see the Headmaster and senior leadership team on the gate in the mornings, welcoming each child by name.
My

daughter has learnt so much in her time in nursery so far and I've been particular impressed with her phonics progression. The classroom is a light and welcoming space, with access to a lovely playground. You can tell that the teachers take pride in creating a bright and positive space.
By being part of a larger school, the children benefit from spending time with those in older years. My daughter has particularly enjoyed the buddy system with year 6 and I feel this helps prepare them for moving up within the school. It also means nursery children get to join in wider school events, like the Carol Service and Sports Day.
We would certainly recommend Clifton Lodge Nursery!

Before coming to Clifton Lodge, my son would cry and scream every morning 'I don't want to go to nursery'. Every day was a drama and a nightmare that affected us a lot. Since he has been at Clifton, everything has changed, he is happy, motivated and delighted with his teachers. We are delighted.
