I wanted to take some time to share a review of our lovely nursery, which both we as parents and our children truly appreciate.
Our middle child recently graduated from the nursery and moved into the reception year at the same school. The transition was incredibly smooth, thanks to the support and
encouragement from the nursery staff and everyone at EYFS.
This year, our youngest has joined the nursery and absolutely loves it. We receive regular and helpful communication from the staff about their progress, and most importantly, the wellbeing of each child is clearly a top priority.
The range of activities is fantastic-gardening, beach school, and so much more. The teachers are incredibly creative, caring, and dedicated.
With all that said, I would like to thank all the nursery staff and everyone at EYFS for creating such a nurturing and supportive environment for our children.

My son has recently started at Meoncross Nursery and in just a few weeks we have seen so many changes and developments in his character. He has not been around many young children before and has been very shy around them. He now comes home from nursery and talks to me about all the other children and
what they have got up to. He has already become so friendly with all the children and staff there and his confidence has grown rapidly! The outside space there is wonderful and he often talks about all the activities he's played with and brings crafts and pictures home that he is super proud of. The staff are amazing at communicating how he is doing and what they've noticed about him. I couldn't recommend it enough and I look forward to seeing all the changes still to come!

We couldn't be happier with the care our daughter has received at Meoncross Nursery since she started at two and a half. From the very beginning, the setting has had such a warm, family-like atmosphere that immediately put us at ease. The staff are genuinely kind, attentive, and supportive, always going
above and beyond to ensure every child feels happy, safe, and encouraged. It's clear how much they care, and we feel confident she's getting the very best start in life. Most importantly, she absolutely loves going in every day, which speaks volumes.

He has come on leaps and bounds with his confidence and learning. He is only 2 but the effect this nursery has had on his speech and listening is remarkable.

The nursery have been absolutely incredible with my eldest daughter and my youngest daughter will also be joining in September. They go above and beyond for the children. All the activities are so creative and personalised to the children. My daughter thrives in the lovely nurturing environment and
they have so many lovely areas of the nursery indoor and outdoor and often change the layout to suit the learning topic. It's such a safe, friendly caring space and my daughter wants to go everyday. We travel a fair distance to attend but it's 100% worth it!

We chose to move our daughter to Meoncross Nursery to give her a more enriching experience and to encourage her curious and independent nature. We most definitely did the right thing! She is thriving at Meoncross, with a wonderful range of exciting activities and experiences, including ballet, music
and regular trips to Beach School. She has a lovely group of friends and teachers that care a great deal about her development. She recognises many numbers and is happily writing her own name! We couldn't ask for a better setting to start her learning journey, she is very happy.

I have nothing but praise for Meoncross Nursery and their early years team. My eldest finished in 2024 and my youngest is currently enrolled. Both have thrived in their care. The whole team make sure each day is engaging and activities are well thought out, ensuring the kids are supported as well as
challenged in their learning.
They achieve a healthy balance between free play and structured sessions. The kids have access to wonderful specialised subjects which exposes them to different styles of learning and gets them excited about trying new things from an early age.
The communication between nursery and home is impeccable, whether it be face to face, through the app or by message - I've always felt up to date with what is happening and able to talk openly to anyone in the nursery setting about any concerns or help we might need.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found such a wonderful nursery for our daughter. She runs in each day, eager to see her friends and teachers and take part in all the carefully planned activities.
All the staff are so caring and nurturing, taking the time to really get to know the children on an
individual basis and their families too.
Being connected to the school has been a real bonus with the children able to benefit from the superb facilities and expertise of specialist teachers. Families are often invited in for events and we loved watching the wonderful Nativity production and Sports Day.
We couldn't ask for a better start to our daughter's early years education.

My child has come on leaps and bounds since being at Meoncross nursery. She enjoys ballet, gardening, music amongst many other activities. She has built wonderful friendships with her peers and relationships with the outstanding staff who excel in helping her grow and develop. My child's confidence

Both of our children have been through Meoncross School and had wonderful experiences. The staff are lovely and take time to listen and nurture the child. They are so supportive.
Our son is always so excited to get into nursery (or school at he calls it), he enjoys learning through varied activities.
The resources are great and the outdoor equipment is fantastic. The experiences pupils are given even though they are only young are brilliant, I don't know any other nursery setting that does this.
The food is wonderful, healthy and varied.
We are very happy with everything at Meoncross and would fully recommend it.

Meoncross is an amazing nursery with a wonderful staff. It truly does feel like a second family and my son has thrived. He loves his teachers and when dropped off we have never had any tears. In fact, we have never seen any teary children. The beach school, French, ballet, gardening, and cooking in
small groups are what sets Meoncross apart from other nurseries. We are so happy that we have decided to keep him there for reception.

Meoncross is a wonderful nursery and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. My son started when he turned 2.5 years old, moving from another nursery, and I've seen such a positive change in him. He loves his days at nursery, and never hesitates to run in at drop-off time - the daily activities, from cooking
to drama classes are brilliant and he's always so proud to show off what he's learnt or made that day. All of the staff have really got to know him, and they're amazing at supporting him (with great communication too). I really have nothing but positives to say!

Both of my children have attended Meoncross Nursery and I highly recommend this to everyone I speak to. It has a calm and loving vibe which rubs off on the children who attend. The teachers care for the children in a personal and compassionate way and the addition of parents evenings allows you to discuss
your child in detail. The uniform is beautiful and helps the children feel connected to the school. The updates parents receive via the app are detailed and show the depth of learning the children receive eg in French, Ballet or cooking lessons. As a private nursery, it is more expensive than others but something that we believe is worth every penny. The children finish their day clean, well-fed, happy and loved. We couldn’t ask for more in a nursery and are so grateful to the nursery and staff for all their exemplary care and teaching. It enabled our first child to slot into mainstream school beautifully. Five star!

My son has been attending the nursery for almost a year now and he loves it.
I am so impressed with the variety of things they do with the children every day.
Whenever something is uploaded on the app I am always impressed to see the creativity of what they get the children to do and the children
all seem very happy doing it.
My son comes out smiling every day after nursery and can’t wait to go back again the next day.
All the teachers are always so welcoming and friendly and you always get a warm feeling when at the nursery.
It has had a huge positive impact on my son and he has grown so much in his abilities and confidence since starting.
It is preparing him so well for when he starts school in September. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone!

We moved our son from an alternative nursery when he was eligible at 2 and half years old.


It was one of the best decisions we have made for his learning and social development.


All of his teachers and care workers have taken the time to get to know him and settle him in, and we really like

all the activities planned in advance, that he undertakes in a nursery day.


We also like the time dedicated to outside learning activities and school trips, which he will be eligible for as he gets a little bit older.

My son has just finished his first term at Meoncross and it has been a wonderful experience. The nurturing approach of the nursery team supported him to settle with ease. Their child-led approach to play and learning has meant my son interests have been celebrated and woven in to his nursery day. He
thoroughly enjoys the extra specialist classes (singing and music) and we have enjoyed the songs at home too!


The EYFS lead and my son’s key worker are very approachable, kind and friendly as well as being happy to help and my son has developed a lovely attachment to his key worker and other members of staff.


We are very happy that we choose Meoncross and look forward to hearing about all of the adventures to come.

Meoncross go above and beyond expectations and put the child at the centre of everything they do.


My daughter is taught not just academic skills (although she is taught these well too) but also personal/social skills which will stand her in good stead as she progresses.


The staff and school,

in general, are approachable and nurturing and they ensure no child is left out of any activity. The activities themselves are varied and there is a good balance of inside and outside play.


My daughter particularly enjoys the specialist provision they have in the form of French and singing lessons. These are very reasonably priced in addition to the free hours.


Finally, the number of school trips and extracurricular activities has been fantastic.
