We moved our 2 year old to Kinderzimmer Walton from a different local setting, and the difference is remarkable. From trips out to the library, bookshop, pet shop, to regular photo updates (including after tears at drop off - it's so nice to see the little one happily playing a few minutes later), to
educational visits from police and opportunities for parents to join for things like Mothers Day - Kinderzimmer offers a rich and varied learning environment. The educators are fantastic, confident and experienced, with activities clearly linked to the curriculum, educational outcomes and child development areas. We really can't fault anything having now having been there for one month, and our little boy is developing so well. We fully intend to send our next little one there when the time comes!

Our daughter Blake started nursery at around 7 months and from day one has thrived the nurturing and nourishing environment. She is now almost 2 years old and has made lots of friends as well as acing all her milestones. Kinderzimmer really is her home away from home. The only criticism I have is the
staff retention as over the past year and a bit we've seen many adored staff members leave. Maybe that is something that head office/management can work on.

Our daughter started at the nursery last year when she was 10 months old. Although drop-offs were a little upsetting at first, the settling-in process went smoothly and the baby room team were wonderful at comforting and reassuring her.


Over the past few months, we've seen such a boost in her confidence

- she now gets excited when we arrive in the morning, which says it all. The staff communicate really well and always keep us updated on what she's been doing. She comes home happy and ready for bed after a busy day.


She has food allergies, and the team have been incredibly accommodating and careful, which gives us real peace of mind.


We would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents looking for a caring and supportive environment.

Our daughter joined the nursery nearly a year ago, and as it was her first experience in childcare, we were naturally a little anxious. While it took a short period for her to settle in, once she feel at home, she became and remains incredibly excited to attend every day with a big smile.
The environment
is exceptionally bright and cheerful, providing a fantastic variety of activities indoor and outdoor that keep the children truly engaged and curious. We have seen such a wonderful progress in her development, particularly in her speech and motor skills.Her social interactions, such as sharing,caring and listening, have also come on leaps and bounds.The staff are consistently caring, enthusiastic, and approachable,they are truly professionals and friendly educators.
We also greatly value the regular photo updates, which provide a beautiful window into her day and keep us connected to her learning journey. We couldn't be happier with the care she receives.

Our daughter absolutely loves it at Kinderzimmer. She's always excited to go to nursery and walks in with a smile on her face. She's built great relationships with the key workers in her room and making friends at such a young age. As parents, we were attracted to the Kinderzimmer method of learning,
and we can see her flourishing and growing so beautifully. Her key workers, such as Belinda, Dominica & Ellie (to name a few) are excellent with her, as well as all the other children. As parents, we couldn't be happier with her progress and the staff. Keep up the fantastic work, Kinderzimmer.

We as parents were so nervous taking our child to nursery for the first time but all the staff at kinderzimmer have made it such a smooth process, they have been kind, informative, and so understanding. The nursery itself is modern, clean and really well looked after. My daughter is loving her time
at nursery and loves coming home to tell us everything she's done in the day! We cannot recommend Kinderzimmer enough, and the room leader and educators of the toddler room are fantastic!

We couldn't be happier with the care our daughter has received. Her gentle induction in December prepared her beautifully for starting in January, with the transition handled sensitively and professionally. The team truly understands the importance of emotional security, comforting and supporting her
as she settles at her own pace and gains confidence. Observations are thoughtful, capturing her curiosity, engagement, and creativity through play with natural materials, paint, and open-ended exploration which is so important to us as a family with strong creative roots. The app keeps us updated on routine details, and the calm, clean environment reflects the team's consistency. Special thanks to Ann-Marie (who seems to hold everything together so well), Sara, Rashana, Val, and Charlotte, whose warmth, patience, and attentiveness have made an enormous difference. We are incredibly grateful to the whole team and feel very confident that our daughter is safe, nurtured, and thriving.

There has been a decline in quality this year. We raised management concerns, but still waiting for a formal response, showing communication issues. Staff turnover has been high (educators, reception staff and 4 managers in 1 year). This is unsettling for children and affects continuity. Preschoolers
are particularly impacted since the room leader left seven weeks ago. A replacement was finally communicated last week, but comms on the issue were poor. Learning has become less structured, reports are a bit sparse, and children are merged with younger ages, creating a less age-appropriate environment. Fees are another concern as they have increased twice in a year, about £400 more monthly (~35%). The nursery also appears to charge more for children over 3 with funded hours, despite the lower staff-to-child ratios. Not sure why. There are carers whose dedication and passion have made a positive difference, so not all is negative. There is a mismatch between fees and service.

We appreciate there has been some change at kinderzimmer Walthamstow Central over the past few months and it has shown up in inconsistencies with staffing and perhaps unsettling our children. The entire company is fully invested in fixing any issues and further investing in our team, resources and care - which shows in our full time Interim Support Manager, as well as further weekly visiting support from the rest of the Support Office. In addition, we have invested above and beyond on new resources that have been delivered over the past few and upcoming weeks. To clarify, our fees have not changed since April 2025 and will not change again until April 2026, apart from any changes to funding legislation and grants e.g. the introduction of 30 hour funding in September 2025. Nonetheless, we will take your feedback on board and see if there is anything further we can do on top of the investment that is currently underway.

Wonderful experience here. Warm and caring staff who really know our child and share regular thoughts and updates about her progress, great facilities including a lovely outdoor play area, and great food. An easy to use app provides updates and reminders without being overbearing or feeling invasive.
Leadership are easily to reach and happy to discuss what's best for baby. With multiple babies rooms and separate toddlers/prschoolers, staff can focus on children at similar stages of development and put on excellent learning activities to support development. Water play, messy play, cooking, and of course plenty of reading and singing, all part of the fun. Oh, and regular trips out to local gardens or the supermarket. Our child looks forward to coming here every single day.

Could not recommend Kinderzimmer Chelmsford more! Every member of the team is warm, caring and supportive. my child thrives in the Montessori style setting. Every day at drop off I see new interactive play stations all prepped and set up by the team, ready for the children's day of multi-sensory learning.
The food is nutritious and varied with lots of healthy snacks. My favourite part of the nursery is the flow between indoor and outdoor play, they get the children outdoors as much as they can. Special shout out to Gina who has cared and bonded with our child so well, he feels safe with her, gets excited each morning to see her and she has encouraged and supported his development alongside all the whole team. As parents we were worried about starting nursery but we can see how much kinderzimmer has benefited his socialisation, confidence and development!

The staff at the nursery stand out as the best part of KZ. They are diligent, attentive and, most importantly, genuinely care about the children. That care is obvious in the way they interact with the kids, communicate
with parents and create a calm, nurturing atmosphere. We've always felt our children are known as individuals.
The facilities are exceptional, very clean, well maintained.
The sheds for prams/scooters make daily drop offs and pick ups much easier.
We've also loved that the children are now taken on nice little trips which adds variety to their days.
Only issues have been issues from a head office perspective, mainly around invoicing, communication and mutiple changes to terms, which has been frustrating. The staff on the ground are professional, caring and committed and they are the reason we've trusted the nursery.

My daughter has been at Kinderzimmer Walthamstow since it opened and she was 9 months old - she's now just turned 2 and loves nursery days. The room leaders and educators are fantastic, especially in terms of the range of learning they offer - activities are age-appropriate and exciting, and are clearly
planned to meet key milestones. Safeguarding is excellent, and staff are really in tune with the children they look after. The space itself is gorgeous to look at and promotes open-ended and imaginative play. My daughter particularly loves heading out into the garden to explore the facilities (especially mud kitchens) and zoom about on the bikes. In terms of the food offer, my husband and I often joke that she eats better than we do - the menus are published in advance for parents' reference, and anything children have/haven't eaten is communicated via the app. I have nothing but good things to say about Kinderzimmer, its staff and facilities, and am so happy we got a place here.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. It is truly excellent, and my son absolutely loves it. He has been attending since he was 7 months old and is turning 3 in March, and throughout that time the care has been outstanding. He adores all of the staff, who go out of their way to make him feel special,
and his key worker consistently goes the extra mile to ensure he feels supported and happy. He is truly thriving there and is genuinely part of the nursery community, where he is seen, known, and valued as an individual. Every single morning he runs in with a huge smile on his face, which says everything and means I never spend the day worrying, as I know he's having a great time. The staff genuinely go above and beyond, and it's clear how much care and dedication they put into the children. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent.

My little one really loves his time at nursery & the space is lovely and always clean and cared for. The team create lovely learning opportunities for them through play and outings& the food provision is healthy and varied. The extended opening hours vs other local nurseries is a huge help with two
commuting parents.
We do have some concerns - specifically relating to staff attrition levels. In the 12m since our son started there have been 4 or more nursery managers & countless changes in staff.
We have been fortunate to have great key workers & long serving team members who have minimised the impact of this for the children. Specifically Indie, Nancy, Zara, Sonia & Nadia. Hoping that the most recent change in management creates stability & longevity, as I really feel for the team who do a brilliant job every day.

Our daughter started at kinderzimmer at just 9 months old, and as first-time parents it was the first time we'd left her with anyone else. We were nervous at first, but she's absolutely thrived.
She's now almost two and has learned so much - always coming home singing new songs and talking about her
friends and teachers. A huge thank you to Indi, Qushauna and Nancy, and to all the wonderful staff, for taking such amazing care of her. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend kinderzimmer!
