There has been a decline in quality this year. We raised management concerns, but still waiting for a formal response, showing communication issues. Staff turnover has been high (educators, reception staff and 4 managers in 1 year). This is unsettling for children and affects continuity. Preschoolers
are particularly impacted since the room leader left seven weeks ago. A replacement was finally communicated last week, but comms on the issue were poor. Learning has become less structured, reports are a bit sparse, and children are merged with younger ages, creating a less age-appropriate environment. Fees are another concern as they have increased twice in a year, about £400 more monthly (~35%). The nursery also appears to charge more for children over 3 with funded hours, despite the lower staff-to-child ratios. Not sure why. There are carers whose dedication and passion have made a positive difference, so not all is negative. There is a mismatch between fees and service.

We appreciate there has been some change at kinderzimmer Walthamstow Central over the past few months and it has shown up in inconsistencies with staffing and perhaps unsettling our children. The entire company is fully invested in fixing any issues and further investing in our team, resources and care - which shows in our full time Interim Support Manager, as well as further weekly visiting support from the rest of the Support Office. In addition, we have invested above and beyond on new resources that have been delivered over the past few and upcoming weeks. To clarify, our fees have not changed since April 2025 and will not change again until April 2026, apart from any changes to funding legislation and grants e.g. the introduction of 30 hour funding in September 2025. Nonetheless, we will take your feedback on board and see if there is anything further we can do on top of the investment that is currently underway.

My daughter has been at Kinderzimmer Walthamstow since it opened and she was 9 months old - she's now just turned 2 and loves nursery days. The room leaders and educators are fantastic, especially in terms of the range of learning they offer - activities are age-appropriate and exciting, and are clearly
planned to meet key milestones. Safeguarding is excellent, and staff are really in tune with the children they look after. The space itself is gorgeous to look at and promotes open-ended and imaginative play. My daughter particularly loves heading out into the garden to explore the facilities (especially mud kitchens) and zoom about on the bikes. In terms of the food offer, my husband and I often joke that she eats better than we do - the menus are published in advance for parents' reference, and anything children have/haven't eaten is communicated via the app. I have nothing but good things to say about Kinderzimmer, its staff and facilities, and am so happy we got a place here.

My little one really loves his time at nursery & the space is lovely and always clean and cared for. The team create lovely learning opportunities for them through play and outings& the food provision is healthy and varied. The extended opening hours vs other local nurseries is a huge help with two
commuting parents.
We do have some concerns - specifically relating to staff attrition levels. In the 12m since our son started there have been 4 or more nursery managers & countless changes in staff.
We have been fortunate to have great key workers & long serving team members who have minimised the impact of this for the children. Specifically Indie, Nancy, Zara, Sonia & Nadia. Hoping that the most recent change in management creates stability & longevity, as I really feel for the team who do a brilliant job every day.

Our daughter started at kinderzimmer at just 9 months old, and as first-time parents it was the first time we'd left her with anyone else. We were nervous at first, but she's absolutely thrived.
She's now almost two and has learned so much - always coming home singing new songs and talking about her
friends and teachers. A huge thank you to Indi, Qushauna and Nancy, and to all the wonderful staff, for taking such amazing care of her. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend kinderzimmer!

Kinderzimmer Walthamstow is such a lovely nursery, they really put all their efforts to help the children, especially my daughter, she is developing so well and she plays and does activities all day at nursery and is always happy. The nursery and staff are always doing such beautiful activities that
the children love and that also help with development In all areas . Whenever I pick her up for nursery I can see her playing with the other children and the staff aswell. It's so welcoming and has such a lovely atmosphere. As well as that I get the best weekly observations that's how how happy she has been all week trying new things and having the most fun.

We are absolutely loving Kinderzimmer. We moved our (now) three year old and our one year old at the end of last year and are truly thrilled with our decision. Both the pre-school room and the baby room are staffed with caring, empathetic and friendly practitioners.
The spaces are absolutely beautiful,
full of light and space and their commitment to taking the children out on excursions and learning outside is by far the best I am aware of locally.
Our eldest is thriving and loves going to nursery, we at times have a hard time getting her out the door to leave! Our youngest has settled in really well and has been so well looked after during this time.
The managerial staff are also great - have had nothing but positive interactions, smiles and kind words from the moment we started. When I drop my children off there, it makes me so happy to know they are so well looked after.
I would absolutely recommend Kinderzimmer Walthamstow. It is wonderful.

My child is having the best time at Kinderzimmer Walthemstow. The staff have been fantastic settling them in and supporting them over the weeks. I have really seen them thrive! I was a bit anxious about the change but it could not have been smoother and it's a great pleasure seeing how happy they are
there.
