Overall Experience

I couldn't be happier with Green Giraffe Nursery! After a tough experience with a previous childminder, I was really worried about how my son would settle into a new setting. But from the moment I spoke to them, the staff at Green Giraffe were incredibly warm, caring, and reassuring. They made the transition

so much easier, and he settled in quickly and seems to really enjoy his time there.
The environment is welcoming and the staff are lovely. It's clear that they genuinely care about each child's well-being and development. I couldn't recommend Green Giraffe enough.

Overall Experience

My little boy has had a great time at Green Giraffe for nearly the last two years. The staff are amazing and so accommodating and ensuring he is happy. I love the app that lets me know that my son is settled and happy, I can also see what he has eaten and how much of it. I love the fact that you get

a picture to see how they are getting on. The activities that they do are always great and that they always get taken outside weather permitted. I have been really happy with my son's experience and would highly recommend this nursery.

Overall Experience

Brilliant staff and environment for our son to flourish. The staff are always attentive, take time to update us on our son's day via the app and during pick ups. The food is all organic and they cater to our son's vegetarian diet. He gets loads of time outdoors, via the playground and through trips

to the park and local businesses. We couldn't recommend a better nursery!

Very friendly nursery setting. The ladies are looking after our little one very well, providing updates throughout the day and keeping us informed of any issue. For us, seeing our little one happy to go there and excited once is back home is the most important thing. We truly appreciate the Montessori

learning method, the home made food freshly cooked every day and also the flexibility around planned holidays. Highly recommended.

Overall Experience

We've had a great experience with Green Giraffe. My son has been going for over three years and has loved it. The staff are always incredibly friendly and supportive and we love that everyone seems to know his name, even when he's not in their classroom. We're moving out of the area otherwise we'd love

for our son to stay and our baby daughter to enrol when she's ready. We'd 100% recommend the nursery.

Overall Experience

I would highly recommend Green Giraffe. Katy does an amazing job managing the nursery, keeping parents informed and personally getting to know the children. Maida is also very helpful with any requests which I really appreciate. All of the staff we've come across have been amazing! They show genuine

care for all of the children and are always so friendly. My son doesn't look back at drop off which is a sign of how much he enjoys it! As with all day nurseries, it's not cheap but that's just where we are at the moment ( I.e. industry wide, not specific to GG). The use of the local parks and outdoor facilities is a huge plus too.

I couldn't be happier with the care and attention our daughter receives. The staff in her room are truly wonderful - they took the time to really get to know her and embrace her unique personality. It's clear that they see and celebrate who she is as an individual, which means so much to us as parents

as she's a loving little whirlwind!

They do an amazing job keeping her active, curious mind engaged with new challenges and experiences every day, while still providing a warm, loving environment where she feels safe and valued. It's such a comfort to know she's surrounded by people who not only care for her but also nurture her growth and confidence. Our daughter absolutely loves going to nursery, and often wants to stay for longer when we come to pick her up in the evenings. We have been delighted with the care our daughter has received at the Penarth Green Girraffe. She joined as a baby, two years ago, and has progressed through the rooms with unwavering support from all the staff who have cared for her.
Having an elder daughter who previously attended multiple different

My daughter attends Green Giraffe Nursery in Cardiff Bay full-time, and I couldn't be happier with the care she receives. The staff are exceptionally warm, friendly, and professional, always attentive to her individual needs and wellbeing. The nursery provides a great variety of healthy, nutritious

meals and snacks every day - something I really value as a parent. Communication is outstanding: I receive regular photo updates and prompt phone calls throughout the day when appropriate, which keeps me fully informed and reassured. Management is excellent - approachable, organised, and clearly passionate about maintaining high standards. My daughter absolutely loves going in each morning, which speaks volumes about the environment they've created. Overall, Green Giraffe Nursery Cardiff Bay is the perfect place for any parent looking for a safe, caring, and well-managed setting for their child's development and happiness. My children love going to Green Giraffe in Penarth.

The staff are fantastic - they're caring, attentive, and take the time to build strong relationships with both the children and parents. It's clear that they really know and understand each child as an individual.

The food options are excellent,

with healthy and varied meals that my little ones actually enjoy! But most importantly, my children are happy, settled, and excited to go. It's such a relief as a parent to know they're in a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where they can learn and grow.

I can't recommend this nursery highly enough - it's been such a positive experience for our family!

Only have positive things to say about Green Giraffe Penarth - I am so grateful to have found a nursery which my daughter absolutely loves and where I feel confident and happy leaving her. The staff are amazing - super friendly and they've built such strong relationships with the kids. The facilities

are lovely, food is great. We keep discovering things our daughter can do which we haven't taught her, so she must have learnt at nursery - our favourites being saying 'cheeeese' for a camera and pretending to sleep for the sleepy bunnies song. Always recommend Green Giraffe to parents looking for a nursery in Penarth.
