Very pleased with the standard of care provided at Hawthorn House. The staff are caring, knowledgeable and staff turnover is very low. It is a very well-run nursery with great facilities and outdoor space. My child absolutely loves coming to nursery and the routine it provides. The days are well structured with outdoor time, free play and learning all catered for. Nursery has been a great support with my child's eating (learning how to hold cutlery etc), self-care as well as counting and encouraging creative activities such as singing, art and dancing. All food is freshly prepared on-site and my child eats everything. Fantastic small chain of nurseries where you get the benefit of a smaller nursery within a larger framework (such as the benefit of an early years teacher who sets a teaching curriculum etc). Very happy we chose Hawthorn House for our child's nursery provision.

The food was excellent, the activities, the little trips they took, everything was just perfect, we miss it a lot!

My daughter loves this nursery and happily skips in each day. The staff are kind caring and know each child. Communication is fantastic, with updates on a portal and daily summary sheets. I love the variety of activities they offer and the outdoor classroom adds a lovely additional opportunity for the children to be outside. I'm happy to send my youngest child here in a few months and recommend it.

My son has had the best time at Sylvan House. I knew it was the right nursery for us the moment we stepped in. I was a little apprehensive as I'm sure all new parents are but the nursery staff put me at ease straight away with their caring supportive attitude. He has grown into a super confident little boy who is ready to start school. I cannot praise this nursery and staff highly enough!

I would highly recommend the nursery and feel privileged to have watched my children develop and continue to develop within their nurturing environment.

The staff are fantastic. They arrange learning activities and methods I'd never think of. They were so encouraging when it came to toilet training time (for me too not to give up!). I love that they have been in close contact with big school in the run-up to him starting, so he's not starting his first day completely unknown. Everyone is approachable and informative. They update your child's personal account frequently so you can see what's been going on that day. Doesn't stop you from missing them though!

Couldn't be more pleased with our choice of nursery. The food, activities and outdoor area are very impressive and we appreciate the daily sheet detailing how the day went. The staff are all so caring and my son is excited to go in each morning! They really ease my mind as I know he is being well looked after.

Our little girl has attended Mulberry House since April 2023. We have found the staff to be friendly and supportive. The rooms are clean and the facilities are fantastic (particularly their set up for napping babies and meal times in the younger rooms). Our daughter settled quickly after struggling at a previous nursery, and enjoys her day there. She always comes out smiling. We get information/pictures regularly and a daily handover at pick up. Her development has come on leaps and bounds. Can't recommend highly enough.

We are so lucky to have somewhere to leave our child that feels so safe and comfortable.

What a wonderful nursery! My child has been attending for just over 2.5 years now and we have decided to keep her there right up to when she starts school as she loves it so much. The vibe you get from staff is professional and caring. When you walk up to the door staff are showcasing the painting or craft to parents at pickup. School readiness and milestones such as dropping a nap or toilet training is supported by staff. They recognise when my child has a talent and her imagination on nursery days is such a joy. Her teacher sets up fun but educational activities. We have started to get a weekly book which she loves too. The nursery manager, deputy and staff have also gone the extra mile when needed recently and it's not gone unnoticed they really do care about their children and families.

The food she has is outstanding; I wish I could have her meals for the day. The opportunity to try so many new wonderful foods is fantastic. If you are looking for a day nursery for your child, I can't recommend it highly enough. Any doubts or concerns you might have will quickly be put to rest immediately, go and visit!

A really outstanding nursery. I am so delighted I chose Sylvan House. My daughter has been coming three days a week since she was 9 months, and the development I've seen in her is fantastic. The girls in the baby room treat my daughter like their own; they are kind, affectionate, attentive and excellent at what they do. The food variety is great, and she is really well fed and cared for, with a detailed report at the end of the day showing food intake, sleep times, nappy changes, mood description etc. The app that the nursery use is A-star, and I look forward to numerous updates, photos, videos and notes about what she's up to. Communication is excellent throughout the day and at handover. Well done, Sylvan House, you've made returning to work so much easier!

My son has been at Mulberry for 2 years and he has truly enjoyed his time in nursery. Everything from his social skills to his vocabulary have come on faster than I ever imagined. The staff are so welcoming to both parents and children and it is easy to address any queries or questions. I can't praise all the staff enough for all their hard work.

If you want your child to succeed and flourish - this is the nursery for you and your child.

Four years this establishment has been caring, loving and nurturing our boy. Never a complaint. Nothing is too big an ask. Calm, coordinated, organised, adaptable and kind. I am so pleased I decided to trust them with my child. So pleased they are getting my second too!! James has learnt so much here and he will miss it. So thankful to all the team!

Both my grandsons have attended Copper Beeches Day Nursery and I couldn’t be happier with the staff, the care and the education they have both received. The eldest is now 5 and at school and our experience with him was so good that the second child was obviously enrolled. This was a Covid and lockdown experience which, although was not the same for him regarding nursery/home connections due to restrictions, was the best it could be in the circumstances. We know that both boys have had a great start from a dedicated team.

Love this nursery in so many ways. One of the biggest reasons to choose this place when I researched lots in the area was the people who work there. The manager is phenomenal with such a caring nature, as are all other members of staff. My daughter has had the pleasure of being here for the last three years; she absolutely loves it. Her confidence has come on massively, along with her independence. They continually surprise me with their ideas and go the extra mile. My daughter was off with chicken pox during her birthday; the teacher and children sang happy birthday to her on the online account and posted the video. There are so many things I could mention about this nursery, but overall, in my opinion, it's the best in the area.
