My daughter loves this nursery and happily skips in each day. The staff are kind caring and know each child. Communication is fantastic, with updates on a portal and daily summary sheets. I love the variety of activities they offer and the outdoor classroom adds a lovely additional opportunity for the children to be outside. I'm happy to send my youngest child here in a few months and recommend it.
Both my grandsons have attended Copper Beeches Day Nursery and I couldn’t be happier with the staff, the care and the education they have both received. The eldest is now 5 and at school and our experience with him was so good that the second child was obviously enrolled. This was a Covid and lockdown experience which, although was not the same for him regarding nursery/home connections due to restrictions, was the best it could be in the circumstances. We know that both boys have had a great start from a dedicated team.
We’re also very impressed at how easily the nursery accommodated her dietary requirements (they are very proactive on this and take allergies very seriously, all food being prepared on-site and meals planned in advance).
Thanks so much to the Ladybird Room Leader, the staff and team for helping our anxious little lady blossom.
We started at Copper Beeches in July when our son’s dad came out of being furloughed and the nursery couldn’t have been more accommodating. It’s a lovely nursery with a family feel and they have managed really well to run the nursery in a safe and effective manner despite covid restrictions. My son has a great time every day and the staff varies the activities they do to keep the children occupied and entertained. The outdoor space is a real asset and is well used by children every day. The nursery communicates well through the Tapestry app and also a weekly newsletter that shares what has been going on; new policies, and the menu for the following week, which all looks very tasty. No wonder my son eats it all up. Thanks Copper Beeches.
Our little boy joined the nursery just after lockdown, at his previous nursery he suffered with terrible separation anxiety. Since he has been at Copper Beeches he has come on leaps and bounds, he is like a different child. He interacts with the children, he doesn't cling to the nursery nurses, he enjoys his days playing out and having fun doing various activates. He loves playing out at the nursery, the garden is great. The ladies in the butterfly class are fabulous, they are all so happy and lovely to talk to. The menu is fantastic, he is fed fresh fruit and home-cooked meals. The nursery is amazing, I wish we would have put him in there sooner. We can't thank the ladies enough for what they do, the Tapestry updates are great. We have meetings with the girls, we couldn't ask for a better nursery.
This nursery is excellent, we had to move our son from another nursery as we were not happy with the standard of care. Since day one we couldn't have been made more welcome. They managed to settle our son very quickly due to the caring manner of all of their staff. it is very much a homely feel to the nursery. Due to Covid and lockdown our son, who is only 2, has become very clingy to us and the staff have, yet again, helped him settle back in very quickly. He comes bouncing out ready to tell us in his own way about his day. All communication is fantastic.
Our daughter settled into nursery so well! This is due to the amazing staff who are so supportive to new parents and children. Our daughter's key worker takes the time to detail how her day has been. They have a clear path on areas to develop in and our daughter has come on leaps and bounds since joining. As a parent I couldn't be any happier with Copper Beeches Day Nursery.
As a first-time mum, I was extremely nervous about sending my daughter to nursery but from day one Copper Beeches have been excellent. The staff are wonderful and genuinely love the children in their care. My little girl has developed tremendously since starting almost a year ago. She is so happy which gives me so much confidence in all of the team. The team welcomes feedback and comments and go above and beyond to ensure every child’s needs are met. Throughout the recent pandemic, the nursery was fantastic in their efforts to communicate, provide virtual activities and maintain a connection with both children and parents alike. I’ve even made some lovely parent friends through the nursery. I have already recommended the nursery to friends and will continue to do so! Thank you to everyone at Copper Beeches.
This is a fantastic nursery. As soon as I visited I knew I wanted to send my son here. It feels very homely but operates very professionally keeping you up to date with activities in the nursery e.g menus, updates to policies, newsletters, etc. Also, there are numerous events I have attended. One of the key things for me about this nursery is they make sure you have good connections with the staff members that are looking after your child/children which makes me feel reassured.
It's not the biggest of nurseries and that contributes to the children interacting with each other whilst outside and socialising with different ages, which I think is a positive environment.
The staff are really friendly and supportive. They are always available if you have any questions and will work with you to support your child. I also really appreciate the daily sheet at the end of each day so we know what the children have been up to and this helps us discuss what has happened that day with the kids.
Part of the reason I chose the nursery is the great outside space they have. They have a covered area which is brilliant as the kids can still get fresh air when it’s raining. They also have lots of different areas/equipment and a lot of thought goes into it.
Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the nursery.
We were made to feel very welcome during the joining process, even though it was clearly more difficult due to the Covid situation. The staff are very friendly and have the children's needs and concerns as their top priority.
After a tour of the nursery, we were very happy to send our son. The outdoor space is great with a neat undercover "garage" area where the kids can still play outside if the weather isn't the best. Indoors the rooms are all set up well with plenty to play with. Our son settled in quickly despite having four months at home and then going nearly full time... so a happy experience for him too.
The organisation is excellent using the app to share daily news/photos/videos and a dedicated office (easily contactable) to deal with funding/invoices etc. Far easier than our old nursery that refused to use computers!
Would definitely recommend Copper Beeches Nursery.
Our daughter has attended Copper Beeches since she was 10 months old and she is now 3, our experience has been extremely positive in all areas and she continues to be very happy here. Most of the children she is with have also been there from a young age, which I think says a lot about the nursery because people don't want to move their children from here!
I have two boys at Copper Beeches, one due to leave and one just starting. My eldest has loved it and my little one has settled in so well. The staff are so friendly and helpful and I feel so happy that I can leave my boys there knowing that they are well cared for and happy. The communication and resources available throughout lockdown was excellent and I couldn't fault the way it was handled. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Copper Beeches to anyone and will be sad to see my eldest leave.
My daughter has been going to Copper Beeches since she was 9-months-old (she is four now) - it’s been a wonderful experience for her where she has thrived, learnt so much and made lots of friends. The staff are fantastic, and I will genuinely feel sad when she leaves next month to start school. Can’t recommend this nursery highly enough.
The communication between parents and the nursery is exceptional, with the app, social media, weekly newsletters and daily updates - we really do feel like we are part of their nursery journey. Their hard work through lockdown and the continued resources provided to parents was outstanding.
On a further point, my eldest son has some severe allergies, and Cooper Beeches have worked with us along the way to ensure the food they offer him is safe. We have regular reviews, and nothing has been too much trouble for them, and it has made us feel so reassured he’s in safe hands!
Thank you, Copper Beeches, and all of your fab team.
From day one we have had a fantastic experience at Copper Beeches. It took a little time for our little boy to get used to going to nursery, however, the staff always treated him with such care and compassion that he soon started to look forward to going. His confidence has grown hugely and his learning has come on in leaps and bounds. The nursery has fantastic play facilities and even on a cold and wet day, the children are able to get lots of fresh air in the covered outdoor play space. I'm also always amazed by the range of food that he eats there too, healthy but tasty! We've had such a great experience that we'll be sending our daughter there too when the time comes.
Our son started nursery at the age of nine months at the start of July 2020, and we have been nothing but impressed with the level of care and quality of service received. Communication is outstanding, and even though COVID restrictions have meant that we have spent next to no time inside the nursery with our son, we have at no point felt worried or concerned. We receive daily updates which give great detail about his activity, and staff are always available and happy to discuss his learning and development. We have noticed considerable progress in a number of his development areas in only a short time at the nursery.
My son has made lots of friends at nursery. He does lots of activities to get him ready for school. The nursery does a lot to bring on his development.
