As a parent of a four-year-old girl, I've been genuinely delighted with our experience at this nursery. The outdoor space is one of its greatest strengths - it's spacious, engaging, and encourages children to explore and connect with nature every day. My daughter especially loves the forest school sessions,
which have helped her grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence. She always comes home excited to share what she's learned.


The meals are another real positive. They're nutritious, varied, and thoughtfully planned, giving me peace of mind that she's eating well and trying new foods in a supportive environment. It's been wonderful to see her develop healthier habits.


What truly sets this nursery apart is the staff. They are consistently friendly, caring, and attentive, creating a warm atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and eager to learn. Their communication with parents is excellent, and it's clear they genuinely care about each child's wellbeing.

We've had such a positive experience with this nursery. The personal, individual care they give each child really stands out - it's clear they take the time to understand what every child needs. The extra activities are a huge bonus and our child absolutely loves them. There's always a lovely, welcoming

I have had a mixed experience at this nursery and been confused by the how well its rated by others. We have been at this nursery approximately 6 months. The good thing are are loads of activities. Every day there is something new to do. The facilities are nice and the place clean; though the building
can be clostrophobic. The management have been there a long time. They are highly attentive and hands-on. They are receptive to talking about any issues you have and make time for you to do this. Despite this there have been things that concern me. There is a very high turnover of staff, compared to two previous settings our child has been in. There is also a high level of agency staff. Every day I go, I see a new face, which is unsettling. There seems an usually high level of issues of biting, hitting (of children and staff) in the preschool.

While we haven't previously received feedback about the building feeling claustrophobic, we do aim to keep our rooms light, airy, and well-organised, and we encourage all families to attend a showaround beforehand, with additional photos and a 360 view available on our website.
With regards recruitment, we prioritise continuity where possible and make every effort to maintain consistency by placing familiar staff within the same rooms, and management will always step in where needed.
We acknowledge your concerns regarding behaviour in the preschool room. We take concerns around behaviour seriously and are actively addressing this with clear strategies in place to support the children and promote positive interactions.
We value all feedback and remain committed to providing a nurturing, positive environment while continually improving.

Choosing a nursery is a big decision, and we genuinely couldn't have picked better.
Both of our kids have gone here, which says everything. From day one it's felt warm, welcoming and safe. The team really care and take the time to understand each child, which makes such a difference.
They've supported
us at every stage, most recently with potty training, which they handled with real patience and reassurance.
The kids have loads of fun, come home full of stories, and you can see how much their confidence grows.
Communication is great, and you always feel like your child is in safe hands.
It's more than just a nursery, it feels like a proper community.
We feel really lucky to be part of it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Our two children have been through this nursery and everything about it is consistently excellent. The staff are all nurturing and caring, and there are lots of activities and even day trips for the children to enjoy. The management team are helpful and professional. We couldn't be happier with our experience at NHN Oxford Road. From the first day of nursery, the team made what can often feel like a daunting transition into something smooth, reassuring, and genuinely positive, for both our baby and us as parents.


The staff are incredibly kind, caring, and attentive.

It's clear they truly invest in each child's development, taking the time to understand their individual needs, personalities and routines. We've seen such lovely progress in our baby since starting here, both socially and developmentally, which is a real testament to the nurturing environment they provide.


The nursery itself feels warm, welcoming and safe, exactly what you hope for when leaving your child in someone else's care. Communication has been excellent throughout, which has really helped put our minds at ease.

Excellent environment in which my child is exceptionally happy and thriving. Sometimes use of the app could be improved and occasionally messaging from parents to all staff is not efficiently delivered on certain developmental issues.


Staff are caring and attentive with minimal agency staff used.


Seems to offer a good mix of learning and fun and encourages friendships to develop between kids.

Both of my children have attended Norfolk House Nursery, so we have been part of the NHN family for 6 years now. It truly is a family, with staff treating children and parents with unconditional care and support.
They have always been so kind and caring towards our children, always going the extra
mile to make our children happy. We have been able to approach staff freely for assistance or guidance and they will always help!
We feel confident sending our children to Norfolk House and we trust they are happy and progressing in this setting. So much so that my now 7 year old always wants to go back and see the staff.
Thank you Norfolk House Nursery for helping to support and educate our children and playing a vital role in shaping who they become!

My Son started at this nursery in September 2024 and I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. The progress he has made and the young boy that he is developing into is all down to the wonderful staff and environment at Norfolk House Nursery.
The site is always clean and a very good
range of foods are given to the children. The range of activities and learning skills are vast and diverse, there is something to suit all. The staff are friendly and always approachable and attentive to every need. Management are fantastic and happy to listen and solve any queries promptly. As a parent I do not feel any nervousness or worry about leaving my child in the care of this nursery. I highly recommend this nursery to all parents wishing to send their children to nursery

We couldn't be happier with Norfolk House Nursery. The staff are truly exceptional -warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child's development. Both my son and daughter have attended since they were just 9 months old, and it's been incredible to watch them grow in such a nurturing and supportive
environment.


The team goes above and beyond to create a safe, engaging space where children can build confidence, learn new skills, and form strong relationships. Communication with parents is excellent, and it's always reassuring to see how much care and thought goes into each day.

The sign of a good nursery? When your toddler talks about it all of the time and can't wait to get there in the morning. My son is now in the toddler room at Norfolk House and he loves it! The staff are so caring and fun, they do a wide range of activities and love to follow the children's interests.
He is developing really well and having fun every day.

Our experience with this nursery has been overwhelmingly positive, and we feel confident entrusting the care of both our toddler and baby to such a nurturing environment.


The facilities and outdoor space are a real highlight. The spacious garden offers a fantastic play area where children can explore

safely, and the addition of forest school sessions encourages curiosity, independence, and a love for nature from an early age. It's wonderful to see both of our children benefiting from outdoor learning in such a thoughtfully designed space.


In terms of learning and development, the nursery strikes a perfect balance for young children. There is a strong emphasis on sensory play, rhythm time, and interactive activities, all of which are age-appropriate and engaging. These experiences have clearly supported our toddler's confidence and social skills, while also providing our baby with gentle stimulation and early developmental support.

My daughter goes to the nursery and has settled in so well, the staff go out of there way to know every child (Influding office staff) and parents. The rooms are clean and the children always have lots of fun activities, including forest school which is great to see them outside.
More recently she
has moved up a room and has struggled with this, but the staff took initiative and swapped staff in the room for a particular challenging day. It's things like this that provide so much re assurance as a parent. As a busy working mum, having the extra hours as a safety net are really appreciated,

Norfolk House Oxford Road is a really great nursery. The staff are kind, friendly and hardworking. They do the best they can for the children. The managers are professional, committed, helpful and supportive. Whenever I've had a small issue with anything at the nursery, the managers have responded promptly
and addressed any concerns effectively.
My eldest was in the preschool room here and enjoyed it, especially the extra-curricular activities like educational music classes, French and Forest School with Paige. My younger son is at the nursery now and has loved his time in Babies Two and Toddlers. I think the staff team in Babies Two is particularly exceptional but there are excellent staff in Toddlers too, and all the adults are kind and caring. There are lots of engaging activities for the children and staff really make the effort to get to know each child. Overall, I'm really happy with this nursery.

Norfolk House is a wonderful nursery and has provided both my daughter and son a nurturing environment to grow, learn and make long-lasting friendships. The nursery management team are extremely friendly, approachable and make a great effort to get to know each individual child and their families. The
activities are extremely varied, family engagement is high, and food is well balanced and nutritious. It will be a sad day when we leave for the last time!

I have had 3 children all who have attended NHN over the span of the last 10 years and my last is due to leave very soon and i can say hand on heart i'm going to miss all the staff who have looked after my children like they were there own. NHN is like a family and they truly care about each individual
child catering towards there individual needs. They go above and beyond constantly and i love the fact that staff are always celebrated for their amazing work. NHN has given me peace of mind. Education through play has also played a massive part on ensuring my boys have been ahead at school.

Feel like I don't need to say much other than it is totally brilliant! Our daughter is so well looked after, often for very long days thanks to the extended hours and absolutely thrives attending Norfolk House Nursery! The staff go above and beyond, she eats really well there and particularly enjoys
the extra activities of ballet, rhythm time and forest school. She often asks for her favourite members of staff at home and is very chatty about what a great day she's had with her friends. You will have no regrets choosing this nursery, we are so pleased we did, it is first class!
