My daughter has now been in Acorns Whitchurch over 2 years. To say they are excellent is an understatement.
Right from the start every staff member has taken the time to get to know my daughter, learn her likes and dislikes, and at every opportunity they have gone out of the way to make sure she is
as happy as can be.
We have also felt extremely supported as parents, through potty training, applying for funding and what life will be like post nursery.
On the days our daughter doesn't attend she asks "is it a nursery day?" and is gutted when we say no. That should tell you everything you need to know.
We couldn't be happier with the fantastic care they provide.

We couldn't be happier with Acorns house. At just eleven months old, our baby is always happy to go into nursery and he has really bonded with the staff, who know him so well already. It's clear how much care and attention he receives, and the thoughtful activities help him thrive. It's a real comfort
to know he is settled, loved and understood. The staff are professional yet warm, and their communication is fantastic. The nursery itself is always spotless and well organised. Creating a safe and welcoming space for children, we feel very lucky to have found this nursery and couldn't recommend it more highly.

This nursery has been the best decision for our child. We were so apprehensive before he started, and have been nothing but completely satisfied. They look after all his needs, playing, sleeping, feeding and offering comfort, but also take such a strong role in his development. It's more of a 'school'
led approach, and it's so fab to watch him learn and grow, but also see how pleased and loved the teachers see him and learning and love it. Do not hesitate to send your child here!

My child has recently changed rooms, and the staff have been very good at communicating how she has settled in. She has settled very well and enjoyed lots of opportunities such as painting, playing outside and drawing. She enjoys her days at nursery and making new friends. The staff are very attentive
and kind. They are great at passing on information about her day.

A very caring and well-run nursery. Our child felt at home here very quickly and we felt very reassured they were getting good care and were enjoying themselves. Regular updates via app on what they were up to, their meals, naps and nappies which is helpful when planning evenings. A daily summary of
the day's activities, which were partly structured, varied and fun. Good communication at all times. A really good facility with a great garden. At the top end of local prices, but worth it.

We have loved our time at Acorns House. Truly caring staff that we've gotten to know over our time there, a warm and nurturing environment, outdoor space and a nutritious menu. We've been at Acorns House since our daughter was 11 months old and she has grown into a kind and confident little girl in
the pre-school who happily walks up the steps into nursery at every drop off. We have loved the open afternoons for parents and grandparents, and our daughter really enjoyed their recent trip out to the theatre. They were very supportive with our potty training journey too. I don't know how we're going to find something similar when we move out of the area - Acorns House has set an incredibly high bar. We are going to miss the Acorns House team so, so much. I couldn't recommend highly enough.

The staff, facilities and food are fantastic. Our daughter has been attending since she was 6 months old. Acorns have helped her flourish. The progression and development the nursery has facilitated has been a joy to watch and has delivered real value for money. We would have no hesitation in sending
out the next child there, which is the highest praise you can give.

All three of my children have attended baby acorns and have loved it. They settled in well, made friends and loved all the activities. We have had every trust in the staff and watched our children thrive. There is a common sense approach to any day to day challenges and the nursery have always been
accommodating with any additional support. I would certainly recommend Baby acorns, and I know the grandparents have been impressed too. Thank you to the managers, and the rest of the team.

Acorns Priory House is a lovely nursery with good facilities for the children, a range of good daily activities and a very good menu. The staff are very kind and caring, and the setting is always clean. However, there are a few things which could make this lovely nursery even better:
- The car park
is tricky! The road is very narrow and bumpy, and the car park is pretty tight. I've been waiting over 20 minutes at pick up before.
- The staff can be dubious about talking to talking to taking the younger ones outside. There have been multiple occasions where they have been stuck indoors all day for no obvious reasons.
- Some people abide by the illness policy, whereas there's a complete disregard from others, which is really frustrating!

My child is due to leave at the end of August to go to Reception. She has been at Acorns Park Grove since she was 9 months old and has loved every second! She has experienced and learnt so much during her time there, and been cared for by such friendly and approachable people. There is always a good
variety of activities to do, access to an amazing outdoor area and lots of resources. Sometimes we struggle to get her to leave at pick up! She has formed strong bonds with her group leaders, who I know she will really miss. Management have always been so accommodating of when we have needed to change our days.

We're so lucky that our daughter has been able to attend Acorns and I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for warm, fun and caring childcare.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was one, and I honestly cannot praise it highly enough. We have always felt completely confident that she is in the best possible hands. The care, attention and love she receives each session is exceptional, and I'm very grateful to the staff. The
environment is warm, nurturing and well organised. The staff are evidently very happy in their jobs as their happiness and patience shine through. This happiness I feel helps to foster their deep commitment to support children's growth, development and well-being. My daughter has developed socially, emotionally and academically in ways I had not expected, and I know that this is due to the enriching experiences and encouragement she receives. I have always had complete peace of mind knowing my daughter is safe, happy, engaged and being cared for by the very best team of nursery staff.

A perfect nursery with amazing staff who care and help your child grow and learn. Child has been with them for 3 years and he's loved every moment. I've felt safe and secure with him going there and any issues were dealt with promptly and confidentially and the right reassurance and follow up given.
10/10 would recommend and well worth the money.

Acorns park grove are the best! The girls are amazing! I was apprehensive when my son first started and they reassured me and talked through everything with me! The first few weeks of him starting I would ring to check in and they were so kind and talked through his morning/day with me. When my son
started he didn't talk much and I feel now he has come on so much, he doesn't stop talking and his confidence is through the roof and I feel like that's on the girls for helping him come out his shell and spend time with him! He has some many friends in there now and so nice to hear his stories. He's always the last to leave as he loves it so much!! Couldn't recommend enough. Thank you!!!

We are very happy with the care received the quantity and quality of activities and resources is amazing. The smaller groups and dedicated spaces really form close bonds between the children. There are a lot of skills our son has learned at nursery that have impressed his new school very much.

Sending your baby anywhere away from family is really difficult, but I find the app updates and personal end of day handovers offered by Acorns really reassuring, and the staff will happily answer more detailed questions I have about my child's day. He has been there almost a year and has a lot of energy,
eats a lot of food (often asks for seconds), loves to play outside on the bikes and other equipment, and has learned to sit and listen to stories with other children which I never would have expected! When feeling a bit under the weather or having a bump to the head I love seeing "cuddles" on the accident form, makes me feel that he is being very well taken care of.

Both our children have been at Baby Acorns and absolutely loved it. I feel confident and happy every morning that my youngest - who is still there - is going off to have a great day and so does she. The nursery works really hard to communicate with parents both the fun things and any challenges eg toddler
behavioural issues. The range of activities (creative, educational, yoga!) is always changing and they have lots of time outside when the weather permits, the garden is one of the reasons we chose the nursery in the first place - so much space. Above all it's the people working at baby acorns who make is so special, both in the care for the children and positive energy that amazingly seems to persist all day long until pick up time. We are so happy to have found this nursery for our kids' first years.

Acorn Nursery have been fantastic for our family! Our little girl started there back in September 2024 at 9 months and she loves it. She is exposed to plenty of fun and educational activities. She loves her grub so the varied menu they have every day is fantastic! We get daily pictures and updates
via an app which is reassuring. All the staff are so friendly and supportive! Overall a great nursery and we would highly recommend!
