Acorns Henbury Hill, Bristol

Our experience with Acorns has been truly exceptional. Since my son was nine months old, he has been welcomed with such warmth and care, becoming part of the Acorns family. He genuinely looks forward to nursery, which speaks volumes about the environment the staff have created.

Every team member, from support staff to managers, has shown consistent kindness, professionalism, and intentional care, always going above and beyond. I am deeply grateful for the role they have played in my son's social, physical, and academic development.

As he prepares to start school, it is hard to say goodbye. Acorns has meant so much to our family, and we will always be thankful.

Since joining Acorns last year we could not be more grateful for all the incredible staff. As parents we have always felt welcomed and at ease, with fantastic communication from everyone. Most importantly though our little one absolutely loves it.

We love Acorns Henbury Hill. It's a fantastic nursery and my daughter has had a very happy 3.5 years there. The staff are wonderful - supportive and understanding. The facilities are brilliant - lots of outdoor space and the new forest school for pre-school children is amazing. My daughter is well looked after, is happy and has come on leaps and bounds with her learning over the years. The learning activities are varied and inclusive and the app is great for keeping us informed. I highly recommend - and I have no doubt my son will be equally as happy at Acorns when he starts in October.

All of the staff are incredible and friendly. You can tell they genuinely care about your child and therefore can trust them wholeheartedly with looking after them and making sure they are happy and safe

Acorn at Henbury Hill is a fantastic nursery. Our little boy has been attending for just over a year (since 11.5 months old) and has been incredibly well cared for throughout that time.

All staff are considerate, friendly, helpful and capable, we trust them completely and our boy is comfortable and happy when he is with them - he talks about them and his little nursery friends every day, and clearly has a lot of fun when he is there. The food menu, facilities (outdoor in particular) and calendar of events and celebrations make for an enriching environment that has absolutely helped our boy to develop and grow.

Acorn has well exceeded our expectations regarding what a nursery care and education can offer, and we feel lucky that our boy can attend.

Best place for my two kids. Always happy and helpful stuff. On this year we are stared baby group and I'm absolutely happy with care what are nursery doing. We are especially thrilled and pleasantly surprised to see how much his independence has grown. Since starting at the nursery, he has begun eating with a spoon all by himself at home and strictly refuses any help! It's amazing to see such progress. Thank you for all your hard work with my son.

Acorn's is a fantastic nursery and we are so thrilled we chose it for our daughter. The staff are warm, friendly and approachable and I feel that my daughter is very well looked after during her time there.The setting is fantastic with beautiful toys and activities set up daily. The range of learning opportunities is great, the babies are always busy and content! Communication between us and the nursery is excellent, the app is updated in a timely manner and parents evenings have been informative and supportive. Our daughter enjoys her meals there and fresh fruit is always available in the foyer. The outside space is great and we are looking forward to our daughter accessing more of the facilities, such as forest school as she gets older.

Both our children have loved their time at Acorns, the outside space is a highlight, especially for kids who love to run, jump and bike! The forest school is a hit with our preschooler and I love him exploring in a safe space and carrying out different outdoor activities. We have good communication face-to-face and on the app, about the activities and presentations and concerns are raised in an empathetic and no judgemental way. Our preschooler has made friends with ease but there is also a lovely approach throughout the group to encourage time and play with a range of children. They are taught independent skills which adapt to the child's level of need and confidence. Natalie is a highlight of the nursery and they should do everything to keep hold of her - she brings a smile and joy to every conversation whilst also remaining professional and caring, to parents as well as the children. The rest of the staff are great and our boys have formed great relationships with their keyworkers.

Acorns Henbury Hill is a fantastic nursery - as an anxious first time mum I was very apprehensive about sending my daughter anywhere but from the very beginning, all of the staff made me feel so at ease, and most importantly made my daughter comfortable and welcome. She is ALWAYS happy to go to nursery and talks about her friends and the staff looking after her with such fondness and excitement. The range of activities offered have nurtured her development and the team always give updates on how her day has been as well as ways we can support her at home. I can't fault any of the team at Acorns and despite moving further away, we haven't moved our daughters nursery as we're so happy with the care provided here!

My son (3yrs) and daughter (1yrs) attend Acorns. We have always been very happy there. Both settled in well. Despite being a big nursery they show such care and attention to each child's personality. The preschool activities and facilities are exceptional. Especially the forest school. They organise events for the children like a Christmas concert.

Acorns is a wonderful nursery which offers plenty of outdoor space for the children to learn and grow. The staff are compassionate, friendly and caring, who go above and beyond every day to make sure a day at Acorns is one of fun, curiosity and kindness. The food the children have is brilliant. Acorns isn't the closest nursery to us geographically but we feel it's worth the extra travel because of the experience our children have there.

Very happy with our son's care in nursery. The staff looking after him are lovely and he likes his key workers, they have a great freshly-cooked menu everyday, and lots of fun and creative activities for the children everyday. They have helped with his development in different ways too. They have a fabulous outdoor garden which our little nature lover adores.

We are so happy we found this amazing nursery in Bristol. Our son joined in March 2024 and from the very beginning the staff were incredibly supportive, kind and professional. I am always in awe of the activities they come up with for the children and am never worried to leave him in their care. Thank you so much to everyone at Acorns for all that you do.

My daughter has been very happy at Acorns over the last 6 months. I was apprehensive about the size as my son attended a very small family run nursery but I shouldn't have been worried! The staff are brilliant, so attentive and caring, and even though it is big it has a very personalised and cosy atmosphere. They have plenty of very longstanding staff members and it is very well organised. Highly recommended!

Lovely staff and nursery. They helped my daughter settle in so quickly and really meet all her needs. She loves her days at nursery and everyday does lots of different activities like playing in the garden, painting, sensory sessions and music. Couldn't be happier with the nursery.

Great nursery all around. The staff are very attentive and caring. Both of my children attended this nursery, and I never considered any other. The children are well supported in their development. The building and the garden are amazing - I don't know any other nursery that can boast such a setting.

We've had a really positive experience with this nursery so far. The environment is always clean, well organised and feels very welcoming for children. There are lots of engaging activities planned throughout the day, which keeps the children stimulated and learning through play.

The outdoor space is fantastic and gives the children plenty of room to play, explore, and enjoy being outside. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a fun and safe environment for them.
